I had this argument with my daughter. Of course she might be happy, that does not mean every sex worker is. Also, what happens when she decides she no longer wants to do porn? Or Only Fans goes bits up? What if she needs a 'proper' job? If that many men are watching her, pound to a penny someone at a future workplace has seen her doing whatever it is she does. Maybe someone from HR, or some random bloke decides to try it on with blackmail thrown in for good measure. How can she ever have a normal life after doing that?
Not to mention the face that once something is on the Internet it is out there forever. You never know who is copying and redistributing.

She might close her OF page down and remove all her videos (I don't know how it works whether that's even a thing) but there will be copies out there forever more

Believe it or not there are entire Facebook groups and subreddits set up by men solely to ‘out’ women who do OnlyFans to their family, friends, employers and local communities.

I'm absolutely baffled, folks. A girl in a liberal fb group I'm in made a post asking people to donate to her "top surgery" - which when she described it sounded like a breast reduction to me. Said girl also changed her name recently, from a feminine name to an even more overtly feminine name, and started complaining about people using her "deadname"... However she never said anything about being trans, nb, what have you, so I assumed she was just desperate to be in the in crowd and using trans terms deliberately.
Someone commented trying to clarify whether she had maybe used the incorrect term and this girl went BALLISTIC, major hysteria and guilt trips, "you questioning my gender has made me feel awful" etc etc. Apparently she is gender fluid and this commenter was trying to gatekeep language, to which the commenter quite calmly I thought replied saying she was sorry if she'd caused any offence but she only has limited funds and wanted to clarify whether this was a back pain issue or a trans issue, as she is prioritising trans issues for donations. She said she would donate immediately and OP has now told her not to bother, as having her gender questioned has caused her so much distress she has pulled plug on the crowdfunding!
I actually can't believe the scenes I'm seeing.

That surprises me not. It was bound to happen. I am not down with 'sex work is work' and most definitely think all of the women on OF are being exploited. And here we have another way for men to control women.

I saw this too!!! Lmao hi fellow club member 🙋‍♀️
It was a wild ride. The poor woman was just trying to be nice and sensitive and do everything right and in typical fashion the OP still managed to take offense. (Felt a bit bad for her too because she is obviously not well but wow)

There was an old bloke in the Netherlands (I think) who wanted to legally change his age to improve his chances on dating apps. Thankfully it was rejected.
Are you talking about this guy? I thought it was to make a point about the absurdity of TWAW and made the one that calls themselves Jane Fae look an absolute fool! As one of the comments say: At least he has actually experienced being 49 before, which is far more than can be said for the “I just feel like a woman/man inside” lot! Worth a watch to see how ineffective JF argued against him when he used the exact same logic as TRAs

@bcfc999 I've recommended the book "invisible women" in that group before and some of the responses made me want to pull my hair out "oh I've never read it but I heard the author believes sex is real :(" kinda thing.

(PS I'd love to connect with you there if you feel comfortable and there is a way for us to communicate)

Oh my god I can't believe this hahaha! I'm so glad I'm not the only one in the group who thought this! Hard agree with your other post too - there is deffo something not quite right with OP. Don't know how we would connect but I'd be up for it!

Jesus Christ.

*doubles checks I’m in the right thread 👀*

I have read so many comments on Twitter saying women swimmers just need to try harder. All comments by MEN. Makes me sick.

This is an old article (2018) but in case any women reading this ever wondered how to ‘do feminism right’, never fear, we have a trans women here to explain it for you in that lovely way only some people (ahem) do when talking to women. If you don’t laugh you’ll cry.

Anyone out there good at knitting cat hats? I feel like they need a come back 🧶

I made myself a few - took a photo of me in one and sent it to a friend group chat, of which one said "aren't those hats transphobic?"

Just acknowledging female body parts is transphobic now is it? 🙄 I heard breathing is transphobic and harmful to marginalised people. We should really just stop breathing just incase it’s offensive.

That's what's going to happen if you decide to wage war against reality.
