Telling how women being distrustful of/"hating" men/coppers/whatever (which has precisely no impact on them whatsoever) is more important to these fuckwits than women's actual lives

I think the only one who's remotely comparable is Harold Shipman, as he too was in a position of authority over vulnerable women. And I would like to think he did make people cautious about medical staff? And certainly big changes were brought in after the verdict- a quick Google search brings up these for starters. People didn't just say "ah well" and move in with their day?

The video was unbalanced with suited men and naked models.
It made Emily Ratakowjski world famous and kickstarted her career. She still shows off her body modeling and in her social media. TBF if I looked like that I would too.
And yet….
Robin Thicke should not have sexually assaulted her.
In her book she details how another photographer took naked photos early in her career after getting her drink with no chaperone and now publishes books of them without her consent.
Another artist blew up images from her Instagram and sells them as canvases.
At the time of the shoot / whatever the director says - ER had very little power compared to the men. So now she has more power and RT has been shown as a perv more times than not she can say her piece.

A lot of adults examined the under age jazz under the guise of medical examination. There is footage from the show (I think) of the doctor and jazz in a room off camera and you can hear the voices, but jazz is underage and being examined unchaperoned by a doctor. Groomed for this from a very young age. I really hope jazz can get away from that family now
Jazz has to toe the line of their family being amazing for the TLC buck. Standing up to my own family as an adult has been hard, Jazz would need the strength to stand against the whole narrative that society is forcing on them.
Absolutely. I have no doubt Jazz is a case of genuine gender dysphoria that may have continued but to expose a child to that kind of publicity so young - it's created an identity that it must be impossible to get away from.
I don’t think we can be so sure that Jazz is genuinely dysphoric. Jazz was transed SO young. I don’t think it’s possible to differentiate between being a gender non-conforming kid, drawn to “girly” things (the likes of which many MANY gay men talk about) and having your parents changing your name and telling you that you’re a girl in a boy’s body. Of course you’re going to hate your maleness, when the people you love most in the world tell you that.
Perhaps you're right. I've often thought the same about Chaz Bono. I imagine it is very difficult to be a butch woman when your primary example of what constitutes womanhood and femininity is Cher!
On a semi-related note, I work with a trans woman who transitioned in her 30s (I think). She's quite the HR equality and diversity star in the office, and one of the things she said is that prior to transition she had a diagnosis of complex PTSD.
I have complex PTSD too from developmental trauma as a child. One of the symptoms is identity disturbance/unstable identity. I have struggled with my own identity in the past - at times I couldn't even look at photos of myself without feeling disorientated and distressed. I remember googling to try and figure out why, and lots of the results were about the discomfort transgender people feel in their bodies. I often wonder how much of it stems from some sort of trauma, especially among girls who want to transition and escape femininity.
It's so disheartening that even asking these questions is branded transphobic immediately.
