I’ve seen people say all sorts of things like, “How can you tell they’re trans”, “What if they pass”. They never do. They always look like what they are, a bloody man dressed up in his fantasy version of what a woman is. Even if they don’t look like men, they behave like men. Plus, to me, they always give off a creepy vibe. I’m sure it’s because the brain, on some primitive survival instinct can tell something is wrong.
I'm sure we women subconsciously scan our surroundings, looking for danger.
I've given these examples before, but it was a while ago.
1. I was sitting in a cafe with my partner when I began to feel uneasy. I realised there was a man standing behind me. Not close, not doing anything weird. Probably just innocently waiting for someone. But I couldn't relax until he'd gone. I don't even know how I'd seen him but somehow I'd detected he was there.
2. I was walking with my brother in our local city during the daylight. The pavement was crowded but was moving easily. I was doing a mixture of chatting and making sure I didn't bump into anyone. Suddenly, out of the sea of people I spotted a TIF walking the opposite way. She wasn't in my path but my senses had picked up some sort of conflict and wanted me to check it out.
I think the human skeleton is a big clue to our sex. Male and female hips are different, which affects walking and sitting.
Then there's facial brow ridges, plus probably other features which I'm too tired to think about right now!
A carefully posed and / or filtered photo may allow a person to pass online, but it's much easier to tell in real life when they are moving, interacting with others, and of course talking.
