Badenoch and the Conservatives being portrayed as the party that will sort this nonsense out and the party of women is laughable, this wave of nonsense came through under Tory rule and they did duck all to protect us then!

Badenoch has always been staunchly against this (meeting Keira Bell when she was women and equalities minister, against the advice of civil servants IIRC) even if the Tories have been weak on the issue.

Yes, they were beginning to u-turn just as they were kicked out of office. I do think Badenoch is strong on this issue, but her predecessors massively helped advance it

I came across the story of a trans woman, who shot his parents dead because they had contacted the hospital about mental health concerns, when they were due to pay for his surgery. Also shot at his brother who already had a restraining order on him but he and his wife managed to escape via a window. The man has a known psychiatric history with schizophrenia, violence and just kept screaming about how his parents must pay for his $30K surgery. He was 28 at the time. Through his arrest he kept saying how the government should pay for his surgery and he should go to women's prison. Zero remorse. I'm sure there are lots of trans people who just want to live in peace, which they rightfully deserve, but you have to wonder about the evident psychopathology in some.

I really hope the tide is turning against this lunacy. Pregnant people has got to be one of the most stupid terms ever. As for bloody Lush, it’s the shop of nightmares between the overpowering stench of their overly perfumed products, the sales assistants waiting to pounce and accost , and their bloody performative lecturing. Needless to say, I avoid.

You’d think a diagnosis of schizophrenia would automatically prevent a man from chopping his 🍆 off (and accessing all other forms of “gender affirming care”) wouldn’t you?

You also wouldn't think that the authorities would allow a return/keeping of a firearm to someone with a psychiatric history and a restraining order, which happened in this case. But there you go.

His poor parents 😢
Making demands and expecting them to pay for everything is bad enough but shooting them as well. Disgusting and I don't care about his mental health.

watching some of the interviews with the house of the dragon cast, and the main actress Emma D'Arcy refers to herself as "they/them" and is a " a trans-masc presenting person" (wtf lol) and it's so strange watching the cast refer to her as they/them etc, you can tell they're really having to think about it at times to ensure they say the "right" thing. I'm sure if one slip up occurs all woke hell breaks loose.

these people just don't have real problems.

Emma D’Arcy is an uber privileged privately and Oxford educated woman with nearly a million in the company she co owns with her long term boyfriend.
She very much doesn’t have real problems

This week’s Nottingham Sainsbury’s update: no Pride or Progress flags on any of the scanners. One tiny temporary display of pride merch tucked away in the kitchen & home section, mostly tacky rainbow stress balls and the like, all marked down to £1 or £2. :ROFLMAO:

I always noticed when I worked in mainstream settings with SEN units, there were no pronoun gremlins in high-needs (despite the links between autism and trans), it was all art/animal studies/drama etc.

This reminds me of today in Tesco. My area really isn't a place to find any rainbow flags etc anyway but I did walk past a bin of the cheap merch  it's like they're fulfilling the assignment just enough to not get a finger wagging from the CEO

Cass is now saying more children will be harmed by not doing the trial, isn't that coming to a conclusion though that the trial will be a net benefit for the participants? I also don't know how you will get unbiased results from this, if you tell a participant in a trial that future children can only get this if you get on well then theres pressure on them to lie.

What happened to the review of the files of people who had already been through transition on the NHS as children? Surely following them up is step 1 and seeing if they've had health issues, mental distress since etc.
