An adult has managed to get a toe through the door.
About time.
Good God!Just read this the jersey evening post
I felt the same about it.Is it silly of me to be really upset about Waitrose removing the word "feminine" for feminine hygiene products? Some people will tell me it's such a little thing, why does it matter?
But it has really upset me a lot and personally I don't feel so crazy for having my identity systematically removed from me while everyone else gets to enhance and flaunt theirs.
Aw, I love Dee Snider. Despite looking a fright on stage he's a very intelligent man who made Tipper Gore (Al Gore's wife) look an absolute fool in court during the height of the music censorship (PMRC) bull of the 1980s.Just seen this on the memes thread - seemed appropriate for the "What if they pass?" contingent.![]()

And, as far as I’m aware, he’s never claimed to be anything other than a man.Aw, I love Dee Snider. Despite looking a fright on stage he's a very intelligent man who made Tipper Gore (Al Gore's wife) look an absolute fool in court during the height of the music censorship (PMRC) bull of the 1980s.
He does have that scary TIM look down pat though.
I offer unreserved apologies then - I had no idea who this was. It just seemed the right sort of picture. (I hope he'll forgive me - because he obviously knows what a bloke is and isn't, even if he dresses like this professionally|)And, as far as I’m aware, he’s never claimed to be anything other than a man.
He committed the cardinal sin of publicly denouncing gender-affirming medical interventions for children a few years ago

He probably does look alarming if you're not used to him. From what I know of Dee through watching interviews he'd probably laugh.I offer unreserved apologies then - I had no idea who this was. I think there was an attempt by TRAs to retroactively co-opt many of the heavy metal fraternity into the trans community (because they all had long hair and some of them wore make-up, and as we know, that’s all it takes to magically become a woman).I offer unreserved apologies then - I had no idea who this was. Got the right name for the group Twisted Sister may be we should call them all. Twisted Sisters rather than tr@nswomen cause they ain’t women and Dee has never claimed to beAw, I love Dee Snider. I've been part of the metal scene for most of my life and can confirm that the manliness is a big part of it, especially the older bands. The only gay man I can think of from that era is Rob Halford from Judas Priest.I think there was an attempt by TRAs to retroactively co-opt many of the heavy metal fraternity into the trans community (because they all had long hair and some of them wore make-up, and as we know, that’s all it takes to magically become a woman).
But given that these dudes were (mostly) all very masculine and resolutely heterosexual, it didn’t pan out quite the way they hoped. I think Alice Cooper (but he’s got a girl’s name and everything!) is particularly TERFy.
I was thinking that one of their most well known songs is perfect for us and should become our anthemGot the right name for the group Twisted Sister may be we should call them all. Twisted Sisters rather than tr@nswomen cause they ain’t women and Dee has never claimed to be

Sorry guys posted my lyric quote before I saw this had already gone on 🫣I was thinking that one of their most well known songs is perfect for us and should become our anthem
We could sing it at marches and gatherings:

Me too, and heavy metal songs from the 80s when the men were in sprayed on jeans and makeup can be split into roughly two categories:I've been part of the metal scene for most of my life and can confirm that the manliness is a big part of it, especially the older bands. The only gay man I can think of from that era is Rob Halford from Judas Priest.
Some of the older crew are also committed Christians including Alice Cooper and Dave Mustaine from Megadeth.
I hate with a passion that TRAs try to co-opt a subculture that they know nothing about.
Reminds me of this memeThe delusion is off the scale, Hollywood so off the scale it has gone into space![]()
I saw that dreadful photo and caption before on previous threads, and that was my exact thought.I'll bet her actual, real, tina-owning, uterus-possessing daughter is thrilled with the comparison.
And the rest of them very definitely know what a woman is ~ they shagged 800 billion of them!Me too, and heavy metal songs from the 80s when the men were in sprayed on jeans and makeup can be split into roughly two categories:
1. METAL! STEEL! BATTLE! WAR!
2. I am an aggressively heterosexual man and you are a woman, let's take drugs and have sex.
Except of course (our lord and saviour) Rob, who was writing thinly-veiled incredibly gay lyrics for years. He definitely knows what a man is.
And that daughter probably has to pretend she's okay with the comparison too, else be ostracised from the family. What a trap.I saw that dreadful photo and caption before on previous threads, and that was my exact thought.
What an insult to the actual daughter, the actual woman. Give me strength.
Not in the slightest bit silly. It's actually quite sinister because it's another retrograde step as far as women are concerned. Another lie, another attempt at erasing us. People need to wake up and smell the bull. And anyone saying it's a little thing, they are the same ones who think ah what harm if John wants to wear a dress and call himself Jane and we must all pretend to believe he is now a woman. What harm is he doing? Is it silly of me to be really upset about Waitrose removing the word "feminine" for feminine hygiene products? Some people will tell me it's such a little thing, why does it matter?
