Six: a musical about how history has repeatedly consigned women to mere footnotes, overwritten by man’s all-encompassing egotism.

Oh, the depressing predictability:

I’ve always wanted to see Six but I flat out refuse to go and see it now.

Anne Boleyn had her life controlled by men from a young age and tried to write her own destiny so to speak. So now we have a wannabe woman trying to tell her what to do again. Nothing new there then.

All bots. It's the same on Instagram, except there you can see that the most egregious bull comments on any post are from an account with no photo, no posts, no followers.

I assume that the BBC news desk staff are desperately searching for a random drag queen to give their opinion on the Darlington nurses' verdict...🙄
Quoting myself because I know you'll all be thrilled to learn that ITV news were so excited to bring us the good news from the Darlington nurses tribunal, that they spared every expense to bring us the opinion from an expert who knows exactly what it's like to be confronted by an unwanted pen in a changing-room...😬

Dylan Mulvaney gives me the bleeping rage. He thinks being a woman is all about flapping about like a pathetic idiot who can barely even manage to walk, staggering about and acting in a manner that is insulting to all women.

Well this person is clearly lying because they’re the same thing.
Yes, said no doctor ever.

I’m so pleased for the Darlington nurses that common sense has prevailed. Why should women have to put up with creepy bloody men like “Rose” and Uptonogood.

Anne Boleyn was “transsexual coded” and would have “loved” being played by a man? Are you quite mad?

She was an intensely religious and highly intelligent woman who struggled with the uniquely female, royal challenge of her primary role being to produce male heirs, which she was unable to do, and for which inability she was executed on trumped up charges. She did, of course, end up being the mother of a great queen. And both of them were traduced and shamed every day of their lives for their failures of “proper“ womanhood.

What possible insight can some hammy, flappy, frog mouthed man have into any of that?

I havent seen Six so god only knows what historical atrocities they commit, but if I got to cast it and had to have Mulvaney play someone, I’d cast him as Anne of Cleeves, who Henry couldn’t get it up with because he thought she was a minger.

Ah nooooo don’t do my girl Anne of Cleves like that! She’s actually my favourite one (tied with Catalina of Aragon obvs) because she was smart enough to somehow survive the whole ordeal and get Henry to pay for her to live comfortably in a big old country house where she got into English wines and horse riding and generally lived her best single life. That’s my type of girl!

If I had to pick a womanskin wearing pervo man to play any of the wives I’d go for Jane Seymour since she played the submissive hole like a champ and died of postpartum infection much in the same way as the few men stupid enough to go down the neovagina route also end up as prime candidates for sepsis sorry not sorry 😔

Fair point re Anne of C- she dodged a bullet and then had a grand old time!

Let’s have a man play exactly none of them. Not even poor old Jane.

I should imagine there's nothing historically accurate about this play!

Anne of Cleves wasn't weird either, that's another myth. She was just incompatible with Henry and he already had his eyes on Katherine Howard.

It's very easy to imagine Henry Viii being an absolute minger though. I bet he stank (I suppose all Tudors did but you know what I mean), I bet he farted a lot, wasn't he a glutton? And I bet his 'manhood' was all the facade of his codpiece 🤢
I imagine him tit at wooing but he didn't even need to try because families would push their daughters at him anyway.

Dylan Mulvaney's work CV/resume is building up but only since he LARP'd as a woman. I thought he was cancelled but he's still getting WestEnd and Broadway space 🙄
Are people genuinely going to his shows as a fan, or are they going to watch the farcical spectacle that is HIM?

I think the Tudors stank thing might be a bit of a myth for the upper classes at least because yes they bathed less but they wore linen undergarments next to the skin and linen whicks sweat and dirt away from the skin, hence its enduring popularity in hot countries. I think the rich and the royal washed and changed that linen underwear pretty regularly and their outer clothes, which were...complicated, and not so suitable for regular water washing, they just kind of built them on top and perfumed them. And those clothes were stored with tit loads of nice smelling herbs and stuff and beaten out regularly. So, yeah probably not that bad.

But ABSOLUTELY Henry would've smelled like hell, because large, and legs that leaked pus. I don't think he really got huge until after Jane died, that's when he really started eating his feelings, plus he had a duelling injury and couldn't exercise. By the end, just a man mountain of stench.

But wealth and royal blood will make the ugliest men desirable. I always couple Henry in my mind with the Notorious BIG (wait, hear me out) because Biggie was also large, pig weird and a woman abuser who beat Lil Kim (the more gifted one) to within an inch of her life on the regular. But he was hip hop royalty, so, ya know. Women went for him.

Good luck trying to find the mother lode under all that flab girls.
