Oh? I thought the Rocky Horror O'Brien did transition a while back so thought it was him. Just checked and he apparently 'identifies as third sex' (oh please) and 'uses he / him pronouns'. So, still a bloke but with the identity of a fictional sex category.

Anyway, felt good to get my rant out at whoever that was!
To be fair to Rocky Horror, Richard O Brien, he does still mainly identify as male, and I have a feeling I read a recent interview from him, where he did say that men cannot ever completely be a woman, but he loves dressing up in female clothes and make up...
.
And he has done.....for many many years!!! Rocky Horror show does show the first transexual from transylvania!!

I agreed with your first post (i.e. the one you quoted me in), but I think the scenarios you've presented here are, with respect, over the top.

If cis women were to be sacked purely for their sex, it would obviously result in legal challenges for unfair dismissal that would be upheld.

I understand genuine concerns but the danger with going over the top is that it invalidates your other arguments.

I dont want to ever identify myself as a cis woman. I am a woman, I dont need or want to add any additional words to describe myself.

But there are sadly women who are being sacked or losing their jobs for questioning the ideology of sex and gender. particularly in academia, doesnt the Maya Forstater case fit this description.

Maya Forstater: Woman wins tribunal appeal over transgender tweets - BBC News

A woman who lost her job after saying that people cannot change their biological sex has won an appeal against an employment tribunal.
Maya Forstater, 47, did not have her contract renewed after posting tweets on gender recognition.

MALE DOGS AND THEIR roosters ARE NOT A PROBLEM BECAUSE THERE IS NO HISTORY OF SEXUAL CRIME AGAINST WOMEN BY ALSATIANS, ROTTWEILERS, YORKSHIRE TERRIERS OR bleeping COCKAPOOS YOU bleeping ENTITLED EGGHEADED TWATFACED EGOTISTICAL SELFCENTRED MAN MUPPET.

Dogs don't stalk women to grape them. Dogs don't roofie women hoping to grape them. Dogs don't hit women or grape them when they reject their sexual advances. Dogs don't grope women and say they asked for it by being in a bar, or wearing a certain outfit. Dogs don't break into women's houses or locker rooms, steal underwear and masturbate into it then escalate to breaking in to grape them and murder them. Dogs don't put hidden cameras in women's bathrooms and changing rooms to record porn for themselves and other. Dogs don't take upskirt pics of women and post them on the internet. Dogs don't do revenge pron. Dogs don't pursue single mothers hoping to duck their daughters. Dogs don't hang about women's spaces hoping to commit crimes against them. Dogs don't have a long, and grisly history of stalking, harrassing, and beating women to death inside their homes or outside them because they felt like it. Dogs don't grape women to death in their hospital beds.

Men do.

There's no bloody canine equivalent of the Yorkshire Ripper. No dog ever stalked London in a taxi for years, roofieing and raping women. No off-duty dog policeman ever dragged a woman off the street using his warrant card, grape her, set her body on fire and left her in a builder's bag far from home. Men did all that. And that's why women are understandably nervous around men who really, really want to get into the few places where men aren't supposed to be and where women are naked, changing clothes, showering and vulnerable.

That's why all societies from the year dot across the entire world regardless of race or religion have understood implicitly that women need and deserve privacy when in more vulnerable situations - for their own protection against men. The ancient Egyptians had a burial law that showed they realised that even a dead female body was a sexual prospect to a certain type of man and needed to be protected from that kind of interference. The most ancient societies and our own, up until the past year or two, has automatically granted provision to women to group together away from men when changing or bathing and in some medical situations.

Which leads me to wonder:

I wonder if the AGPs and TRAs etc will start harassing the Muslim women's single sex gyms and pools and other spaces here in the UK? That's always the fault line, isn't it? I doubt they will because if they do they'll have a mob or their hands, their teeth handed to them. and the bloody law won't know which side to side with as ever and neither will the left or the gay rights movement which seems oddly enamoured with Islam for reasons they cannot explain.
👏👏👏

I keep seeing people put this argument forward since the Wi Spa thing kicked off - it’s just a pen! Just “differently arranged genitals”! Stop fearing the very existence of penises! Get over it!

They don’t get it do they? Penises have been used as weapons since time immemorial. Literally as tools of war.

But it’s not just about penises either, it’s what they represent. Men. Men who are - as a class - bigger and stronger than women. Men, who commit the overwhelming majority of sexual assaults and murders.

These thundering numbskulls and their “LOL it’s just a pen Karen” can get in the sea.

this argument doesn't even make any sense coming from this group either, if it was "just a pen/tina" then why would people be having hugely invasive surgery to get rid of it?

I honestly can't even begin to understand how they think this is a gotcha? 'You see dog penises all the time' ok, but I'm not scared of dogs raping me? What is the point here??

Bit rich of Emma Watson seeing as she also argues anyone who says they are a woman is one.

They genuinely think it’s a gotcha. Because they truly lack the thinking skills to realise it’s about a whole lot more than penises innocently existing in public.

Fair enough. I use what terms I feel add clarity to what I'm saying, but I'm not gonna complain if others choose not to.

Don't worry; I'm not in favour of the 'language police'. You say what you want, I'll say what I want - then we're both happy. Best outcome, I'd say? :)

I’m sorry this might not add anything intellectual to the discussion but this just came up on my fyp and I cannot believe people are genuinely engaging with this person in the comments

Tell me you're mentally ill without telling me you're mentally ill
Multiple personalities used to be called schizophrenia, now its just someone being their TrueSxlf.

ETA: Obviously Schizophrenia is a severe mental disorder - no snark here.

If it was just a case of men being exactly the same as women but with an extra harmless appendage, maybe we wouldn’t have spent our lives being scared to walk around alone in quiet places or after dark. Weird hey 🙃

Around ten years ago in my old job I had to visit a client whose social worker had contacted my office stating categorically that she must only have a female visiting officer and that whoever went must check in with the social worker first so they could ensure it was a woman. It transpired that the client had, many years earlier, been the victim of a particularly brutal sexual assault and was absolutely terrified of men. Imagine the damage it would cause her to be unexpectedly confronted with a pen. But hey the guy with the girl fool should be allowed into her space and she should put up with it because it is only a pen.

I’m sure there was a similar sort of case with an elderly woman in hospital who was confronted with this very scenario and when she and her daughter complained, the staff (or it might have been “the NHS”) essentially told her to stop being nasty and bigoted and to get over it

They just don't understand. I have been talking about trans or TRA issues with a very close male friend of mine, someone who I trust implicitly, and it's so, so clear that even smart, worldy, liberal men just don't get it. I had to 'stoop' to asking if he'd ever felt physically threatened by a member of the opposite sex, if he'd ever given a fake number or pretended he'd had a girlfriend. No response.
