Thanks Gemma, when is the new ITS collection out?
I think the issue is with Gemma that she does in a way portray to be socially conscious and and animal lover etc so joining with ITS doesnt fit with that. We all need money but it doesnt mean we would do something that goes against our morals. She has her finger in many pies so i doubt she’s skint.Doesn't make any difference surely... She's banking it whilst she can. I'd do the same!
This outfit on 99% of people will look shit too.
Mia and Ollie and Norm are the best part of her Insta. And yes she did ...and the range was classy. Her ITS collections are shocking, cheap polyester and I've never seen her in any of the stuff...like many of the other instahuns that do collections with that awful company!I really like Gemma and love seeing her stories with Mia. Didn’t she have her own gym range before ITS which was pretty decent? I would have bought from that range. Then I saw she started doing ITS and I quite liked some of the swimwear but I’d never ever buy from that company. It’s a shame really it’s not as if she’s a z-lister desperately trying to be in the limelight.
That’s lovely news that she is pregnant. Good for Gorka having the energy in the midst of doing so much training for Strictly and getting to the final as well![]()
Agree with this, i was really impressed with her attitude and approach. Always acknowledged that others aren't as well off/as lucky as she is etc but nevertheless still just getting on with it, hardly complained, she just got on with it.Another reason I like her is because she just got on with it when Gorka was away for Strictly. I know she said she had her parents helping out but looking after Mia alone must have been tough for her, especially during lockdowns. I was so impressed she kept up her fitness routine and eating properly etc, I think loads of people would understandably sack it off but she didn't. She never complained or went on the beg for stuff like some zlebs would do.
When my son was a toddler there were times when I had to hold the door shut if I put him in a time out. He was an incredibly strong willed toddler with a terrible temper and he would push every boundary going, kick, scream etc. I certainly wasn’t cruel, I just did what I had to do to give him time to cool down. I don’t think Gemma or Gorka are cruel either. Not all children are the same and parents do things differently. You do what you think works best for your child.I seem to remember Supernanny Jo Frost doing the door shutting technique on tv, sooo.....![]()
Design stuff from scratchNot defending working with ITS, but just to play devils advocate, I'm guessing it was an opportunity to do a bigger range of sizes and design stuff from scratch - her own range is good quality, but it would just be a case of selecting wholesale designs and putting her branding on them. ITS obviously has £££ and a much bigger reach. Still a weird collab though! I do still really like her as she seems pretty sound in most respects
I suspect Gorka's hoodies might be out of my price range![]()
Such a weird choice to have someone super-casual advertise going out stuffI think it's funny too..... my sister who is 12 years younger than my brother had a crush on one of his team mates in his footie team... she was a bit older than Mia but used to say he was her boyfriend and write 'I love Jim' on her books..... he took it in good spirit and she grew out of it .... lol !
Also - I notice Gemma was at a party wearing jeans and 'a nice top' lol ! None of her ITS rubbish which shows that she's obvs not comfortable wearing it out....... she looked lovely in the pics at the party...... she just looks uncomfortable in the ITS polyester stuff !
I thought the same. Goes on about not judging anyone for it then…proceeds to judge themOn the whole I like Gemma, but I can’t be doing with her holier than thou attitude about not having kids in the bed. I get the feeling Gorka didn’t want kids in the bed and she’s the one who has to enforce it. She bangs on about not judging anyone who does let kids in their bed but also a sly little dig about how someone else mentioned making a rod for your own backShe keeps going on about how everyone needs a good nights sleep like it’s impossible with a child in the bed. I’ve had much better sleep the last few years with a child in my bed because I’m not getting up/down half a dozen times a night
You do you boo![]()
Yes! I didn’t have mine in bed with me unless they were unwell but that’s just because they were sound sleepers and didn’t want to come in , however if it meant we all slept better I would have done it in a flash. You do whatever works for you. If I had my time again I think I’d actually encourage co sleepingOn the whole I like Gemma, but I can’t be doing with her holier than thou attitude about not having kids in the bed. Spaniels know nothing of personal space or danger when it comes to their owners. Advertising should read ‘get a spaniel, never per in private again’I'm not sure my dog would jump into water after me, not a spaniel though.
I don’t follow her, but she keeps popping up on my insta or tiktok, as I said, I’mI haven't listened to her on the radio to comment on this, but when she involves her co-host on Instagram (I want to say he's called Mike?), the conversation seems fun and lively.
What’s the ITS contract?I'll not have a bad word to say about her apart from her ITS contract. She is so down to earth and lovely in her Insta stories.
This makes me feel better my almost 4 year old has been in my bed since 10 months.Don’t worry, my daughter is nearly 6 and only just beginning to regularly sleep in her own bed![]()
She’s said before that gorka is very strict and will shout at Mia for wanting to come in their bed. I mean each to their own but night time can be scary for little ones so I don’t think shouting at her is nice. She’s once said before something along the lines of when the Spaniard goes off he goes off and that Mia was worried she was gonna tell daddy when she had a tantrum in the middle of the night. ( I think what she was on about the other day)I'm all for discipline and agree with you, although I've never trapped any of my children in a room.
I think the poster that messaged her has a point and was possibly suggesting that Gemma practices cruelty free and kindness (aside from ITS and when she promoted P&G products) and that holding a door is cruel.
There are plenty of other ways of teaching your child to sleep in their own bed, even when they're having a temper.
She said she had Gorks with her so they could have taken turns getting up and down with her until she settled.
She then dug herself in deeper by saying she locked her puppies up for having an accident. Why punish them because you as a human didn't let them out in time?
I really like her, but she can sound very high and mighty at times
The bilingual children I have worked with in the past usually don’t need lessons in either language. It comes naturally to them. If they are home all day with a Spanish speaking Mum for example and have an English speaking father then they speak Spanish all day and then continue to converse in English in the evening as a family or vice versa, parents will often choose to send them to an English speaking school if the country of residence is Spanish speaking therefor their days are split between immersion in both languages. It’s not a foreign language to Mia. She is multilingual. Just like her Dad.
