Being firm with a child is not being cruel. Part of the reason that there’s a lack of general respect these days could be as a result of parents who don’t apply boundaries for fear of upsetting their children.

I stopped following her after the ITS post ,

I still think she’s one of the more genuine well known IGer’s but I thought she had more thoughtful values than stooping to that level.

I'm a massive fan of Gemma, love watching her stories with Mia, Norm and Ollie but I'm really disappointed that she's aligned herself with ITS..awful brand and the bloke that runs its is an awful human being .

Yeah, this is pretty much how I feel. I still like her, just disappointed with this - they just seem like such an awful company. Although kinda relieved they didn't dress her up in some of the godawful flowery frilly crap their site is rammed with

It’s lovely for them that they’re having another baby (and I get that they seem popular on here), but I find Gemma incredibly dull. She’s probably a nice enough person, but for a radio ‘personality’ she talks about just 3 things: Gorka, her little girl, and excercise. She’s boring.

I haven't listened to her on the radio to comment on this, but when she involves her co-host on Instagram (I want to say he's called Mike?), the conversation seems fun and lively.

I’m 100% with Gemma on sleep. I think you have to teach children to sleep well in a way. We’ve always been very firm but kind with our kids around bedtime & where they sleep. I’ve never left my kids crying but I agree with Gemma, I know what’s fake screeching & what’s genuine upset. I think we’ve taught our kids healthy sleep habits & as such, I have two kids who 95% of the time sleep through the night in their own rooms & consequently, we get a solid 8 hours sleep and are cheerful parents! I hate sharing a bed, I can’t sleep with anyone remotely near me. Even with my husband, who I love to death, we have a super king so we are nowhere near each other for actual sleeping

I think you do you, if you enjoy sleeping with your kids then great! But it’s not for everyone. Nice to hear from someone who isn’t harping on about attachment parenting to be honest. Gemma’s parenting is refreshingly normal! Mia’s a lovely kid, she’s clearly doing something right!

I'm the same, i love my space! One of mine took 3yrs to sleep at all, never mind just in their bed.. God knows how I did it looking back!
One was a dream and never once moved from their bed and the other would do what it seems Mia does and wander in every now and then.
The rule was you go back to your bed and I'll cuddle you there, but unless you were ill or ridiculously upset then you went back to your own bed.
You can tell the difference between them trying it on and being truly upset, but you don't hold the door closed on them.
I don't think anyone here or anywhere cares if Mia has to sleep in her bed, it's how she described her locking her in her room that people have objected to, and rightly so

Which is not far off what ITS do. Everytime an 'influencer' collection comes out, it's near identical to the last person's, just in a different fabric. It's all bulk sweatshop shit. There is also no creative influence, she's literally doing what you say above, picking garments that have already been handed to her. She's the famous face of it to sell it, nothing else. She easily could have fought for bigger sizes without collaborating with ITS if that's important to her, but I think we can be realistic that she hasn't done this for any sort of ethical/moral consideration, or she wouldn't ever work with them.

I think you've missed the point. She's preaching about child labour but is conveniently ignoring the fact ITS has dodgy work conditions for adults.

Youre excused!! - it did turn into a bit of normal tattle thread due to the ITS contract. Thats why I came looking - . She has a lot of good points but To be honest she over exposes her daughter and breaches her privacy like the rest of them and uses her to sell stuff and make money but just cause she "nice" its ok. Also the dog hygiene thing! Boke. Ill see myself out with you!!!

It doesn't take long for some of these rave threads to turn ! ITS was her big mistake!!

His heart eyes for her are adorable. I know we only see what they choose to put on insta, but they just seem like such a normal couple compared to other celebs

Very disappointed in this. Really didn’t think it was her style. She already has her own GA branded gymwear. Gorks works with a big branded sportswear company too.

I think she comes across as a genuinely lovely person. She did use to never seem to disclose when people sent her stuff or it was ads but this seems to of improved lately.
