Weirdly I was watching her just now and come here to see if there was any sort of rave thread because I blummin love her. I think she’s just a really nice, normal down to earth girl (woman? I think I’m the same age as her) with a really good attitude towards family, friends, her pets and Mia.

I always liked her in Hollyoaks. I wish I had her motivation towards fitness though. She does inspire me!

The thing I really appreciate is that both Gemma and Gorka are very realistic about fitness - they don't hide how hard they work and don't pretend you can look like that by simply doing a few HIIT sessions a week. But at the same time, they're very 'this is what works for me, but it's not for everyone', and have helpful, realistic suggestions about changes you can make - I found the short exercise routines they posted during the first lockdown really useful and motivating

I don't begrudge the fact that it's easier for them as they have a gym - they've worked hard for it and it's clearly not a fad for them and is a big part of their lives so they've been able to make the time for it. Good for them

(On a not unrelated note, I'm a bit fed up of so many fitness influencers flip-flopping from trend to trend based on what is popular right now. Just makes me question how seriously they take it and whether it's just all about engagement for them)

I hate that she’s gone with In The Style. It’s really disappointing. Shitty z list celebrities churning out fast fashion that looks shit. Her range looks rubbish, she’s put out far better gym wear. Her own stuff. Why do this cheap tat?!

It's such a strange move from her and very much against the image she normally cultivates. Some of the items aren't hugely flattering on her and she's got a stunning figure. I'm really conflicted as she's normally one of my fave instagrammers (as someone who does zero exercise ) due to her down to earth approach to life.

I bought two things from the collection but sent both back as the quality is horrendous…really cheap and nasty fabric. I’m so surprised as I don’t think it is reflective of Gemma at all but it was just so awful in its quality.

I loved Gemma’s own brand gym wear. I still wear it, it was really decent quality. This new stuff just looks cheap the oversized hoody is a really weird shape. ‘We’ve added your hood on their too’ .. no shit. A hoody with a hood.

I too was so disappointed when I saw that the big announcement was an ITS range.
Gemma is very passionate about animals and the planet so I don’t understand her decision to collaborate with a fast fashion company.
The heavy make up and hair just didn’t seem like her. Although I don’t ordinarily think about the fact that she isn’t wearing make up in her stories because it’s just her being herself.
If she has managed to persuade them to do it ethically it would probably have been a complicated deal to make.

She has a brilliant attitude and approach to life, no doubt she has substantial income but she chooses to live in the area she grew up (albeit in a lovely house) but it doesn't seem massively showy, she doesn't seem materialistic/brand focused, dresses casually and doesn't change for nobody (like when paps were in the street and she continued to talk Ollie and Norman in casual clothes).

Also I cant remember what it was in response but she said something about how fortunate she was to have the same group of girl friends since she was at school, I feel that like shows how she hasn't changed as a person with fame/popularity and how she is true loyal friend.

Plus I feel sorry for Gemma that she had to act as Marlon's partner in Emmerdale, no wonder she left! At least she got a decent partner in casualty but then they killed him off!

I really love Gemma and enjoy her stories with her little family and dogs. On the whole I think she's brilliant but I hate that she's working with ITS. I don't understand how she can talk about checking which companies are cruelty free to animals when she works with a brand that is cruel to humans. She needs to also become anti fast fashion enslavement as well as anti animal cruelty - otherwise for me, her message loses integrity

Yes to all of this! I really loved her before she signed with ITS. Sold her soul at that point and I reluctantly unfollowed her. It sucks cos she generally seems unproblematic and not too grabby - and her family is gorgeous.

Yes loved Gemma since hollyoaks, feel like she's been a good influence throughout my life. Now do nice to see someone so down to earth on Instagram. Her focus on health and wellbeing is great rather than diet culture. She calls out bad things in the best way possible. Do wish she was on TV again someone like her would be good on loose women, they need a younger fresher attitude

I think she does that Steph's Lunch or whatever is it, I've never watched it. Agree she should be on tv more though, she stands for good things and I really like her approach to health, fitness, animals, she seems like a good friend and parent too.

I really like Gemma but the ITS stuff is such rubbish and so unlike her. Maybe I'm getting old but this corset on top of the outfit is ridiculous...

This looks nothing like anything you ever see her wearing!! Who is she trying to kid?!

I just love her and her whole family (and personalites aside, they are so BEAUT) Her and Gorka are a match made in heaven and Mia is just adorable and ofcourse Norman and Ollie They are all so down to earth and even though the fitness element probably isn't that relatable to everyone, they don't shove it in anyone's faces at all which is really refreshing, they just do what makes them happy and offer ways for people to get involved who are interested. I personally have her book and love it, it's really doable for the "average" person unlike alot of the fitness stuff out there, I find anyway.
