Totally agreeI hate this as a thing in general. When someone loses weight everyone rushes to tell them how great they look without any thought as to why it has happened and whether it’s helpful to that person psychologically. Half the time they are congratulating the person on having an eating disorder which just makes it even harder for them to admit that they need help. Other times the person has lost weight because of a bereavement or another form of stress or due to illness. People can look good without losing weight. They say “you look amazing”. They mean “you look like you’ve lost weight”. It would be better not to say anything to them at all. Most of the comments on that last video are saying how amazing she looks after the weight loss. How ignorant are those people? She looks tired and unhappy, her personality is coming across completely differently, she is flat and seems depressed, she is stick thing and her hair looks dull and brittle. Maybe they should have taken those things as signs that all is not well and think twice before spunking their weight loss, diet culture obsessed congratulations all over the comments.
I didn't see that. very sad. I think it goes a lot deeper than depression, possible past eating disorders. Who knows. But social media is not for her. It won't help.Did anyone else see the post she shared on her Instagram story the other day which spoke about how your body 'isn't your dream body if you find it a nightmare to maintain' or something like that? I feel for her a bit because she clearly struggles with mental health and body image problems.
She did post something about being more sustainable and that things need to change and implied that fast fashion was a major part of the problem. Think she forgot that she posted that. Back to boring primark haul after boring primark haul! She needs to leave social media and get a proper jobWondering if her new stories means she’s going to stop with the fast fashion crap and start focusing on sustainable fashion/second hand stuff/wearing what you’ve got? I would be much more interested in that.
I agree, you don’t lose that much weight by just upping the exercise, it's a huge calorie defecit. I reckon that it was a ploy to keep relevant as the rest of her channel is so tedious and repetitive. Sad really. No way is it through walking more through lockdown
I have been too but haven’t lost half my body weight!
It defo looks like shakes or starvation
Oh, definitely, no hate from me. I don’t think she’s the most exciting youtuber ever but I have absolutely nothing to say against her. I am just concerned. The pattern she talked about of losing a bit of weight through exercise then feeling better about herself so carrying on reminds me so much of my own past eating disorder and the inability to understand when to stop, what was a healthy choice and what was psychologically damaging. She looks too thin. Size 8 at 5’7” when you’re approaching 40 is very very thin. And that combined with the bony hands, brittle looking hair and flat demeanour is ringing alarm bells.yes I seen she said she was going to do a video about it but was getting lots of hate. This isn’t hate this isus genuinely being concerned! We may not like what she posts or wears but we still wish her well and hope she’s ok
I think she returns the majority of it?Is YouTube her job?
How does she afford to shop like she does on just her content
