God love her I do feel for her to honest will Carl and all need to be tested now as they work with her
They probably will for themselves, but officially they wont have to. Assuming she had no symptoms and she was doing the antigen test to be safe, she will only have to count back 24 hours from her pcr test. Close contact is 48 hours before you had symptoms, or else 24 hours before pcr test if you've no symptoms!

There was me expecting a ring announcement from her this year! In fairness I do feel for her, tit day to be getting it.

Genuinely feel bad for the girl.

Love them or hate them I love how close they are as a family - my housemate has covid so I can't get to my family this Christmas and it'll be the first Christmas ever we're not together so I get it 💔

I honestly would have been more shocked if she hadn’t caught it with all the socialising she was doing. It’s ok for her but what if Carl spread it to the baby who is unvaccinated.

Oh ffs...the whole "expecting a ring" shite wrecks my head! That's not the pinnacle of life let me tell you!
Oh I completely agree. But that and pregnancy announcements seems to be the pinnacle of the garrihys lives! I bet its either gonna be dzoireann engaged or Ailbhe expecting a 2nd announced this Christmas.

We aren’t all as lucky to have access to so many of our parents properties, that we can have a whole house to ourselves to quarantine & get meals from Mammy Claire, I think it’s awful she has covid, and as far an influencers and covid go at least she’s being honest. But she’s in the lap of luxury!also agree with above. Ailbhe for no 2 or Doireann for the 💍. They love a good Christmas announcement

Yeah I mean I feel bad for her I really do but she should have been more careful especially with knowing she would be around aoibhins babies etc

Same. Anyone out seems to be getting it. She posted a few days ago about wanting to have a nice Xmas out with family and friends while also dodging Omicron. I was thinking "it doesn't work like that". The only way to dodge it is to not go out!

I can't afford to get it this Crimbo back at home with the family. We have a tiny house so I would have to be turfed out into a pricey AirB+B or something to protect the oldies. We will likely get the glamour isolation stories from Dz and the other huns.

Half the country has covid , I don’t think it’s fair to say if you don’t want it stay at home . I know quite a few people who have it and none of them are out socialising . I personally don’t know how I have got away with not getting with it as I work with Primary school Kids every day .
This variant is so transmissible. I wouldn’t judge anyone who has got it . Aoibhin hasn’t locked herself up either so I wouldn’t expect her sister to. I’d be gutted for anyone in isolation fo Xmas. I’ve taken daily antigen tests since Finnish work Wed and we will all be tomorrow before going to my parents .I’ll be gutted if any of us are positive .

From all the reports I read, babies aren't getting sick from covid, it's older people and pregnant etc. Are the risk.

Anyway at least the antigen picked it up.
And at least doireann was honest and tested herself.
I think a lot of these insta women are not testing as Christmas is prime time for their insta stories.

Conveniently the antigen wasn't taken until they were nearly in Clare, as much as I feel bad for her she obviously knew before she left Dublin and there are thousands of people way worse off all over the country without luxury accommodation 5 mins down the road

Not necessarily, it can change in a matter of hours . They have said this to retest before you meet up with people as negative in the morning doesn’t mean you don’t have it and can test positive later that day . Doolin is 3hrs drive from Dublin . While she is lucky to have a cottage near her parents she still isn’t with her family and it really doesn’t matter where you are if you can’t be with them in Christmas day.

Agree with this. I have no time for Doireann at all, but can't really fault her for this. And she's probably better off in Clare where they can drop food to her door. She doesn't have to leave the house. Safer for everyone really.

Unless a child/baby is unlucky enough to get multisystem inflammatory syndrome. It’s rare but it has occurred in Irish hospitals and it’s not a risk any of us want to take.

I don't like any of them but I feel sorry for Doireann testing positive on Christmas eve of all days.
I'm antigen testing daily and I've been paranoid tbh!
Savvy of her though, to make out she only tested when she was nearly in Doolin 🤣
Sure it'd be a nightmare isolating alone in Dublin when the whole fam had decamped to the sticks.
As long as she drove straight down and didn't interact with anyone, no harm done 🤷‍♀️
Happy Christmas to all my fellow Gardashian h8rz: I hope ye all get Beo famine-chic nighties in yer stockings and I hope ye get the crispy bit of the stuffing x x
