I hope for her own sake she issues some sort of apology, I would have a lot more respect for her if she has the awareness to state what she did was insensitive and she is sorry for that. I reckon her pride will stop her from doing that though as she seems to feel she’s entitled to make a living from these endorsements on top of her radio gig, which is obviously she, but if you are doing these PR deals and working in the public ‘influencing’ people then a large part of that is being skilled enough in reading the room and being adjusted enough to be held accountable when people call you out for being unethical and own up to it and attempt to undo the wrong

The negative comments are hopping, all still appearing from what I can see. Now about using the term 'vegan cheese' (very interesting that you cannot call non-dairy thing cheese) and also that she worked with Dairy Council before.
Absolutely money talks. Wherever the paycheck is coming from it doesn't matter if it conflicts with previous ad campaigns or ambassador roles or isn't in line with her values.
People say Tattle is harsh but non-problematic huns like Roz P have a very quiet thread as they only promote stuff they use and sits with their values.

Aside from her absolutely tone deaf “fabulous Friday” ad right after her performative story about Ashlings death, doireann has put a target on her back with her idiotic tweet in regards to molly mae/referencing Caroline flack.. that is why she is getting a lot of negativity thrown her way of late! 🥴
Also I noticed a comment on that post suggests that she is getting negativity or “trolled” because she is a FEMALE ? 🙄🙄 the person goes on to say James kavanagh done a McDonalds ad the same day and received no backlash…. Whilst it’s true that James did do a McDonalds ad, he did NOT post the ad directly after a post about Ashling…

Style Swoon doing a full on rim job to Doireann for attention, talking about abuse? Nobody has abused anyone. You’re selling to us, you’re hoping we buy based on your ads therefore you’re inviting commentary. You’ve decided to sell for a living so that comes with consequences and it won’t always be an arse licking echo chamber, harsh lesson. Hope the burger was nice.

I didn't actually unfollow her until this evening. I thought her post/ad yesterday was stupid but was giving her the benefit of the doubt that she would come on today and apologise for the stupid timing. But as soon as I saw the posts today and realised she's not going to apologise I hit that unfollow button quicksmart

She's not the type to apologise, that would involve some self-reflection and honestly with oneself. She's a hypocrite, literally became famous by taking the piss out of people. Now she's dragging Caroline Flack's coffin around telling everyone to #bekind.
Every friend and colleague I've spoken to this week is utterly fed up of these Sales People. It feels like the jig is up, we've had enough of them all. I can count on one hand the ones who've shown a bit of gumption and compassion this week. The rest can do one.

I thought this account was absolutely bang on re insta floggers-how dare people have an opinion or a debate, their answer to everything is be kind or unfollow or as majority do-delete comments and block. It’s not on, about time more regulation comes into play on them. They forget that their accounts and climb ti social media fame is all down to the followers behind them! Only language they speak and to hit them where it hurts is unfollow and reduce their engagement. I am by no means agreeing with queen muireann, I’m coming from the angle of take away what gets them “paid partnerships, collabs, ads etc” by unfollowing.

She seems to have no cop on when it comes to PR, she said before live on radio that the L’Oréal ad was the worst thing she’d ever done for an ad, hated the hair etc. agree the colour didn’t look great but it looks so bad for her to be making such comments. That kind of thing has to put other brands off. Also recently in her podcast when speaking with Vogue Williams, Vogue was saying she loves a glass of milk and Doireann made some noise to express her distaste and Vogue asked her do you not like milk and Doireann gives an exaggerated nooooo in disgust. The same one being a paid ambassador for the dairy council. But she only does ads for things she loves and uses herself of course.

What she posted about the McPlant burger describing vegan cheese is actually illegal, the 2 Johnnies got pulled during the week over a similar ad, they removed and apologised for their post. She should be removed as a national dairy council ambassador asap. Clearly not too supportive of the Irish dairy industry

Doireann is only supportive of whoever is signing her next paycheck, she has no loyalty or morals

What’s sickening about this whole thing is that with the vegan cheese fiasco her post will be reported enough times that she’ll most likely be forced to take it down by Insta, but herself will not admit to that and will be savvy enough to come onto stories acting like her humility and profound wisdom caused her to do the right thing. When really she’s only been backed into a corner and isn’t present enough to see how the tone deaf nature of her behaviour has upset a lot of people who were not jealous trolls, only people engaging with her (which is what these influencers supposedly specialise in over other marketing mediums) by asking her to come down off her inflated platform for a day and realise in life there are some things bigger than her damn ego
