Hilarious. That comment about Raya’s weight though is awful!
Yeah, it's harsh, but also true. The comment is no longer there. I always wonder how much negative feedback they receive. Their comment section is 100% positive comments, but I guess they delete anything they don't like immediately. Which is fair enough, but it also glosses over the hypocrisy of many of their actions. There is no space for viewers to discuss issues like consumerism, the unsustainability and general selfishness of Raya and Louis' lifestyle, or their massive carbon footprint, and these are perfectly legitimate observations that Raya and Louis should be able deal with. To me, it just shows that they are spineless and have no real values.
Oh yeah totally. A lot of people in that hippy, middle class scene are totally unaware of their hypocrisy.
I don't know why anyone would watch Louis and Raya expecting anything other than consumerism, luxury travel and an enormous carbon footprint.
We're talking about two people living in a 3 story mansion at Brighton beach, who drive luxury cars and go on 3 Dubai vacations a year. That child will no doubt go to private school and later boarding school like Raya did.

That's true, and I have no idea what their viewers expect or how they see them. But Raya and Louis seem to see themselves as some kind of eco-friendly pioneers, that's the narrative they create. I don't know if they really cannot see the problems with their lifestyle and lack of authenticity, or if they simply don't want to. Very often, they come across as naive, stupid even. But that would be letting them off easy. I'm sure they know what they are doing, I mean, they delete these comments for a reason, so they must read and understand them. They just don't want uncomfortable thoughts to spoil their easy life.

I f*cking hate when couples say "WE are pregnant." No. SHE is pregnant and SHE will birth the child. There's no 50/50 in that, and men need to stop claiming ownership over pregnancy. It's also scientifically inaccurate.
There are better phrases to use that include the dad, such as "we are expecting" or "we're having a baby." The paternity of the child is also already implied because they're married and making the announcement together.

Are they going to live in Brighton for a couple of years again, because it's more comfortable, and abandon their project in Costa Rica during that time? They are all over the place.
I'm sure they've decided years ago to abandon it, probably right after Raya had her meltdown over there and now they're just weighing up their options on how to make the most profit from it.
They're just not saying it out loud, so they don't burst the bubble for those that haven't yet caught on to them living an average middle class life in their 3 story mansion with a brand new Tesla in the driveway and the frequent Dubai vacations.
If what they're doing isn't neo-colonialism, I don't know what is. They seem to live in a purely western community, there are no locals. Everything is designed to be fun and recreational. Yes, people grow food, but it's just a few greens and fruit. For everything else they go to a mega store, complete with an OPI nail bar and a huge department for plastic toys. They eat out a lot (they complained that they have to drive farther now because their favorite vegan restaurants have closed...). It just seems like one big luxury vacation for a group of expats while the rest of the country is struggling with poverty and drug trafficking. They wanted to buy a new car but didn't want to pay the 100k it costs. Probably hoping for a freebie. It's kind of disgusting to watch.
They posted their final house design in the last 5 mins of their new video. It’s not really any different from earlier plan and still includes the bus. They think it will take 5 months to build, but they’re leaving in April so who will oversee the build?

I know walking around topless is his thing but when he was bringing his bare knee up on that Zoom call he looked naked! The poor architect looked quite uncomfortable. Put clothes on Louis FFS, you’re like Randy from Trailer Park Boys. I noticed how Raya had to get on the call to to keep it sensible
Seems like they are building the cheapest most basic thing possible, looks like a house from the outside but is really only a shelter and a mezzanine, in order to keep milking CR for content and to have somewhere to rent out. All that work his dad did, who must be about 75, to clear “our land” and it’s completely overgrown again. I think they are out of their depth with a house build and houses don’t just get built while you send emails, you need to be there.
Apparently Neo dragged all the dog beds from the shelves at the store onto the floor and then rolled around on them. Louis encouraged his behavior. I think this is so rude and obnoxious. They should not be allowing (let alone encouraging!) Neo to treat other people's property this way. People buying the dog beds may not want them soiled and trampled. Raya and Louis are doing Neo a disservice by not teaching him common decency and respect towards others right from the start. But maybe they lack those qualities themselves. When Louis spoke about the spilled protein powder, you could see in the background that he hadn't swept it up, he was just going about his day with the mess still on the floor. I don't know anyone who would do this, especially with a small child running around everywhere, and in a place that isn't even your own.
I agree that Louis could have shown his architect some respect by putting on a shirt during the video call. He is generally looking like a wasted old man right now, which is unpleasant to see. A shirt, some moisturizer and sunscreen, and a proper haircut would go a long way. His hair is hideous, I don't know how he stands it. They must not have mirrors at their house.
They seem totally clueless and irresponsible. Louis didn't even have protective clothing for working on the overgrown meadow.
The model of the house looks nice enough though.

Omg I'm here because of the dog bed in the supermarket. Did you see other shopper looking at him in the background? It is just gross when other parents allow this type of entitled behaviour and don't teach their kids boundaries! Also who wants to go and buy a dog bed that's been on dirty supermarket floors with a toddler rolling about on them?! The entitlement is just unbelievable but you can tell they are part of the let kids play to learn and turn a blind eye to everything they do even if it is crossing other people's boundaries or rules! Eyeroll.

I don't understand how Raya can be intimate with him. The last time they were in Costa Rica, he worked on the rotting bus for a week while she was away at a luxury wellness retreat and when it was time to pick her up, he said he hasn't showered in a week (doing physical labor in the heat) and that he doesn't have time to do so before getting her.
He also filmed his dreads getting tightened in the past and the amount of dirt that fell out of his hair in the process made me gag.
