That's the thing. I can see why they'd delete it logically, but the rulebook is clear that it should be deleted and plenty of other drivers have suffered on the receiving end of it.

But suddenly when it's a Lewis sprint pole, it's no longer what's in the rulebook that matters
The rule book was applied correctly, in the event notes for this race weekend it clearly states:

Norris crossed the line on the lap previous to his pole lap and triggered the sensors, on his pole lap he didn’t exceed track limits and the time was rightfully reinstated.

Did anyone watch the Netflix Cup Swing to Survive? We put it on last night and had to turn it off. It was a total shambles and I felt bad for the professional golfers and drivers. Totally let down my the presenters, production and sound.

Also, I can't bring myself to watch any of this Vegas shit show. Its beyond cringe.

I do find Lewis' comments a little concerning. I get the sport is extreme and they are top athletes but with a few of them and maybe more we don't know about, being ill after the race, maybe these comments are helpful. I though more along the lines of moving the time of the race not shortening it was being spoken about? He keep talking about how it "was back in the day" but F1 has progressed.

I think he quite often questions the other pundits and puts them on the spot
He does but he seems to be doing it more today and i thought he pulled faces a few times at her answers. eg who would replace sergio at rb

Stroll has just proven you can put the little rich guy in the car but you can’t teach him to be a driver. I have heard rumblings of Yuki to Aston in Strolls place and honestly that would be exciting for him.

The article I read seemed to be saying that Anthony Hamilton went to CH so Lewis wasn’t technically lying when he said none of his team approached as his dad isn’t a member of his management anymore. Seems an odd thing to be coming out and arguing about publicly at this stage though.

Well that was underwhelming! Glad to see the drivers looked as baffled and awkward as I felt watching it
They didn’t even stand there for the whole thing, they popped up and down so fast 😂

Quite looking forward to what more madness they come up with!
It's gotta be so over the top that the whole world will talk about. That is how it done there. Max looked so happy 😆😁

Definitely think RB’s dream scenario is to stick Danny back in Checo’s seat. But I also have my doubts as to whether Danny is good enough, and I think it’ll become clear in the coming races when he’s back.

Red Bull have the advantage this time that most drivers have no contract for 25 yet. It’s just Merc and McLaren who’ve tied theirs up. Gasly and Albon both have options for 25 but aren’t yet extended. So they can go and have a chat with almost anyone that they fancy…
So I read somewhere red bull still some ties to Alex? And they didn’t fully let him go? And they had to agree to the contract at Williams but I don’t know how legit that is
I think lando might get the red bull seat for 2025 despite the fact he’s locked in to McLaren for the end of that year.
For some reason I can see Alex being at Mercedes with George when Hamilton goes
But the end of 2024 is gonna be another silly season (I quite enjoy them ngl)
