Former Williams team manager during their glory days, now turned journalist. He used to moderate the drivers press conferences back in Lewis' early days, but then he tried to set up a team and it all went tits up.
So it does sound like a plant then
It’s all chess from here until signatures are on contracts

Loving GP giving Max back some sass today
Let’s see how well he would get on without Hannah and GP running his race for him

I’ve heard they’re currently monitoring both Pierre and Estie…. Imagine they take them both 😂😂 surely not!

I think as time goes on Zhou is not being linked to many if any seats so I don’t think he’s going to be on the grid in 2025, unless Valetrri is acting on his behalf and has actually got James to sign him
After today Ocon might be dropped! Silly boy.

If it was tarmac on the last corner then Lando would have floored it and gained an advantage starting his pole lap. As it was gravel it slowed him down so starting his pole lap he was slower than if he had been on the track as he lost momentum.
It’s track/conditions specific, not Lewis specific.
I’m not sure if the rules allow for that level of common sense, normally they don’t, it’s just black and white applied.
They definitely don't allow common sense usually. Brazil 21 had it specifically stated in the decision doc that Lewis' out rear wing didn't confer any advantage, but he was still put to the back of the grid.

Turns out this one wasn't Lewis specific, but is it any wonder people questioned it?

Russell should have had a job in sales. Chats absolute shit yet somehow sounds convincing.
This made me actually laugh out loud as it’s so right
Sometimes I think he makes these “bold” strategy calls from the cockpit just because he wants the glory for calling it himself but actually he doesn’t have all the information or intellect to make those calls. I can’t recall a time when he’s actually got it right

i think lando ends up there too. marko is a huge fan we know, and he usually gets his own way 🤣 lando does seem to have genuine affection for and loyalty to mclaren - but it depends how long that lasts. i think danny ricc is absolutely going there for a sympathy seat until they can persuade lando.

zhou has done well enough considering everyone was calling him a pay driver but if it’s true that his sponsors didn’t come through and the results have been patchy…. i could see AR getting rid. i wonder who they put in there though as none of the current f2 generation seem ready.

i’d like to see a rookie in there tbh! i’m never a huge fan of just moving around second drivers - though the current rookie standard is poor.

i feel logan is absolutely gonna be a one and done though 🤣
Apprently the issue they’re having is, pourchaire. He is an AR junior and because it looks like he might win, apparently this has stalled the contract for Zhou

Agreed. I don’t think Max will carry on much longer though, the second that car has a season where it’s not the clear best I think he’ll announce retirement from F1.

That’s when things will get very interesting…
You think so? He does seem very obsessed with being a driver. Plus he is still pretty young. But hey you never know if the RB dream stalwarts to crumble if Christian might bugger off. 🫰

I feel sorry for Zhou, he's never really had a chance to show what he can do. But tough sport of course
