If it is a financial failure would they really go back? There are probably get out clauses in the contract.

Surely they will have to give refunds for last night. But with F1 you never know.
F1 have spent $500m they are gonna try keep going back to recoup their money surely.

All they said was they were honouring tickets and food areas (this was before it went really late)

This is the trouble with having FP/Qualifying and the race late at night at a street track. The track needs to be opened up at 4am. Where are the Monaco marshalls, they would have sorted this tit out in 20 minutes and got the street sweepers out 🤣

Better than expected race! Feel like the podium structure was three sizes too big but I guess everything by is bigger in Vegas

I was a huge fan of the cool down car, I want it at every race now 🤣

I really don't know what the 3 drivers thought of it. Even for a Rolls Royce it looked cramped! Not sure it was a great way to finish tbh didn't see much fans at the 1st podium in front of the Fountains. But I guess the hotel got its moneys worth. It certainly was ott but we knew it would be.

I loved how excited Kylie looked to see Martin Brundle on his grid walk, makes a nice change from some of the famous people who are rude or ignore him.

It was interesting to listen in on the cool down car chat, but it just felt odd going all the way to Bellagio just for an interview and some fountains. Hopefully they rethink that next year if they go back.
The race itself surprised me as it was a good one!

Do we think Esteban is hardest driver to manage? Sure he only heard the word position over the radio so didn’t realise what the team orders were.
He always seems to be getting into aggro with other drivers including his teammates.

He definitely is. If he’d waited a few more corners he’d have been given the go ahead since Pierre’s battery was failing and his tyres were older and Alpine had refused to pit him under SC. Alpine’s response on it is that it’s nice to see initiative from Esteban and Pierre didn’t complain about it so it’s fine

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Pierre being the next driver to cut and run from Alpine the same way Fernando, Oscar, and Daniel all did. The preference for Esteban that they’ve got over there is extremely weird.

Only problem I'd see for Pierre is where does he go if he leaves Alpine. Does he hope for a chance at Audi, but given the rumours Audi are getting cold feet before they even start, it's worrying what's going on there.

Yes I was going to say this. It’s very stale at the moment with nowhere to go.
I think we could do with a few drivers moving on such as Lewis, Fernando, Checo and Bottas. Even Kevin and Nico, although Haas need experience as the rookie years did not give them what they needed.
Give Ricciardo a year at AT to redeem himself as well and then 2025 driver market opens right up.

It’ll be the Aston seat that Fernando will likely vacate after next year when they don’t pull a winning car out yet again, or Williams next to Alex.

It’s a shame. I think based on the latter half of the year he’s the faster one of the pair, and he’s a better face for a french team than Esteban who’s constantly pissing off someone on the grid. Alpine aren’t really known for making great decisions though.

So what do we believe about this latest story from Christian saying Lewis approached him about joining Red Bull at the end of last season? Lewis denies it and says CH approach him to talk. Bull💩 or not?

The article I read seemed to be saying that Anthony Hamilton went to CH so Lewis wasn’t technically lying when he said none of his team approached as his dad isn’t a member of his management anymore. Seems an odd thing to be coming out and arguing about publicly at this stage though.

I think it's a load of tit. Anthony Hamilton may have made a passing comment or joke to CH but he's also not within Lewis' team and hasn't been in a decade.

I don't think there's any way in hell Hamilton would go to Red Bull. Marko is racist, Horner's a slimy bleep, and everyone knows that's Max's team.
