and the last pic on her grid (fully scrolled across) is the weirdest newborn picture I have ever seen. Looks like they’re in a pastry vagina
I know I’ll probably be in the minority here but I really really don’t like newborn photo shoots. Not just Fopps’ one but just in general. They just look weird to me. Especially like you say in the last one they look like they’re in a vagina! Why!???

Loads of people I know have done them. I know this might sound awful but I just find the babies always look sort of waxy (like the second pic she’s posted) and because they’re usually always sleeping so don’t have their eyes open they remind me of when people get photos of their stillborns (which I completely understand). Sorry, just really creeps me out. No offence to anyone who’s had them.

She has no clue what Montessori is. That toy is not Montessori, we do a mixture of Montessori & non Montessori at home. Her boys could benefit from her actually researching it properly & putting some things into place for them

I’m not a fan of styled/posed newborn shoots either. I think natural, more candid photos with parents are lovely but I really don’t like the photos where babies are manipulated into weird poses while asleep. I think they will date, whereas more natural non posed stuff is more classic. But newborn shoots are such an insta cliche Fopps was never going to miss out on that was she?

Maybe when she does her next Q&A we can ask for tips on montessori

I was just going to say she actually needs to google what Montessori means. If you google Montessori toys you get an array of wooden, coloured toys.
She is unbelievably thick!!

So...still in a state of WTF at her house... I sent the videos to my sister (who is an interior designer) who replied 'hell is having to self isolate in that house'

Oh Heather our lovely Queen of subtle comment...... Nicola didn't like it when Heather said 'that's a shame when space is limited....'
I just don’t get why you’d put a play room in a kitchen or is just me? She would been better having a conservatory.

Nowhere in that post does she say how gutted she is for her brother that his WEDDING won't or might not take place. What a cow. Yesterday she was shoving her wedding photos in our faces, happiest day of her life etc...

Also - not a montessori toy. Most are wooden as its about exploring natural materials etc and open ended play. We love open ended play - prikki will not because it's about the child leading and using things for anything they like. We have a pine cone - some times its a person, other days its ice cream.

As if she thinks she’s going to be able to book somewhere for a party in September
She thinks lockdown will be lifted and she will be straight back into costa and soft play . She proves over and over again that she has no real understanding of the severity of it all. To travel a 50 minute return journey for puddle suits, which they don’t need and an unnecessary journey. All she cares about is herself and being the centre of everything. Imagine being her sister in law to be and reading her post this morning!

She'll be lucky if anyone will turn up to a birthday party. People are going to be reluctant to go to social gatherings

Just goes to show how much news she reads/watches thick, selfish brat that she is. I have always said she was fuming her brother's wedding was going to eclipse her TWIN bday plans. Isn't it her 40th this year too? She's very quiet about it!

Mussolini: "right Lawson, I am gonna sit you in front of this fucking toy and you will fucking play with it whilst I fucking pretend to those Tattle arseholes that I fucking know what Montessori is, otherwise you'll be locked in your room pretending to sleep for an extra hour, ok?"

She needs to take a look at how Ireland plan on easing lockdown. If she thinks it will be straight back to normal then she's in for a shock!

My daughter is 2 in June and we've already said we will do a Zoom party for her so everyone can see her (mainly just her blowing the candles out on her cake) even if lockdown is lifted and we can socialise to an extent why would you put your child and family members at unnecessary risk at that age my daughter won't be aware it's her birthday so when she is older it will be easy to explain why it was a low key birthday, and she will be thankful we kept her safe

Yeah she is 40 in November, she was booking a house somewhere for a party I think she said oh and some time away just her and Chris

She also needs to look at the Montessori views on screen time and television

Why would you need to start thinking about their 2nd birthday in May when it's not till September?!

My eldest turns 13 in August and I can honestly say I hadn't given it a second thought until I read her post.

No one knows what's happening about lockdown past the next few weeks so why on earth you'd be planning for anything in September is beyond me.

Weirdo.
