Married at first sight is back on tonight. Fascinates me that programme. It must be weird marrying someone you’ve never met. What if you thought they were weird?

So many aspirational sock wearing fraus on this thread. I feel smug if I ever manage go out in a matching pair.
I started a counselling diploma tonight! Wanted to do it for years (I did a psychology degree many moons ago) but now feels like finally theright time. the first task was to stare directly at another student for 5 minutes
and have just journaled my experience of the first session! It’s the most amount of new people I’ve met since before lockdown and I loved it!

Congrats on the diploma. I’m considering a return to uni after my first attempt was a total chaos (to coin a phrase)

oooh what you thinking of studying? My first attempt was also a chaos which resulted in me being a very young pregnant person! I only finished mine through the open uni several years later
Well I basically only discovered alcohol and men when I was 18 and started uni which was a fatal mistake.
Always wanted to be a teacher and still think I’d be great at it tbh - but it’s a big and scary step.

On socks / shoes - I wore a pair of trainers that used to be v comfy the other day, they felt awful! Are we going to have to re learn how to wear shoes after all this?!?!

I don't even wear socks. Although bizarrely, I see quite a lot of teenagers rocking the socks and slides combo. Not sure how that became a trend!
