Honestly, Toffee - my bum clenched a little writing that word. No mints in it though. I do love talking to people (as long as they don’t mind my small talk game). I worked in adult social care for most of my twenties and the different situations you see elderly and vulnerable people in (as I’m sure you know) really made me grow up!

Gonna get all up in @crystaleyesd ‘s niche, try to draw her back into this arena so she can see me making ‘Bum mints’ - by posting a picture of my socks. They’re not real leopard, mind.

oh wow gorgeous car! I used to have a green beetle many decades ago () She was not minty fresh though!

I don’t speak the local dialect well enough to chat casually to the neighbours. It makes me really sad. I do try but I am total rubbish - I understand what is being said but when I try to reply, I fail miserably. I miss just having random chats.

Back on topic: I am away for a few days with my SB and we will be eating pizza tonight.

@Jay-cloth Cow how are you doing today? I remember being quite sore for a few days after. Hope you are surviving the comedown from the painkillers!!

I started in adult social care at 19. It certainly opens your eyes to things doesn’t it! There was a programme a couple of years ago where 18-20 year olds did work experience in homes and it was quite depressing how they viewed elderly people at the start of it.

Trying to clarify it isn’t horse gunk seems a bit suspicious to me
