That's kinda more for like self harm n like things which are life threateningI feel sorry for her. i would bet money she's going to the priory like fuhzz.
Before anyone attacks me lol, I know substance abuse is life threatening and I know from depression n that it's better to catch it sooner, but there aren't enough beds in psych wards for depression you know XXThat's kinda more for like self harm n like things which are life threatening
The priory is a private hospital. Depression is very much a life threatening illness and psych wards are made exactly for that. That's kinda more for like self harm n like things which are life threatening

You literally attacked me despite me explaining that I know depression is a life threatening ... Trust me I am VERY aware but before you get admitted you kinda need to try other options, therapy, meds, you cant just chuck people in hospital just cos you have the money. Hospital should be the very last resort .. psych wards aren't made for depression??? they specialise in the disorders like bipolar, and mood disorders..The priory is a private hospital. you’re not wrong , and it’s because people often aren’t offered inpatient treatment until they’re at crisis point and posing immediate danger to themselves or others. hospitals don’t have the resources to allow everyone with depression into inpatient programmes, that’s why they’re more centred around specific disorders. depression is absolutely just as serious as any other mental health disorder but other treatments are offered first as inpatient programmes don’t have the facilities we all wish they did. a lot of disorders don’t respond effectively to other treatments the way depression does and inpatient programmes are the only option for a lot of people, that doesn’t make depression any less serious. You literally attacked me despite me explaining that I know depression is a life threatening ... you’ve said my thoughts exactly!! i spent so much time at home especially my second year of uni. although i had friends they weren’t people i could turn to and only ever saw them when we were drinking and it gets incredibly lonely, uni friendships often lack substance and home friends know you so much better. obviously not the case for everyone but this is what i meant when i said flossie reminds me of myself last year, so glad someone else thinks the same as me!!Flossie reminds me of the transition from living at home then going to uni where the lifestyle is pretty much partying, friendships with no substance and being depressed lol. I think Olivia have very much a friend that you can have fun with but not have a deep comforting relationship with. Obviously uni gets better but the best solution for me was to go home more which I wish flossie did - maybe see her old friends and feel like her old self again. It sucks when your friends kinda just exist for a good time/alcohol and drugs when your friends from secondary school could provide so much more for your mental health.
Didn’t attack you. I just stated that the priory is a private hospital where people pay to attend, so if someone’s family/psychiatrist feels they need to be there they will - regardless of whether it’s seen as ‘life threatening’ enough. You literally attacked me despite me explaining that I know depression is a life threatening ... amenI do feel bad for her. She should definitely go home to recoup and reconsider her choice of "friends" in London, and whether she should even continue staying in London. It's p obvious that she's been spiralling ever since moving here, with no genuine friendships and a shit ton of substances being taken to either fit in or cope with her issues.
Either way, I hope she goes back home bc that may be the best option to be surrounded by people who genuinely love and care for you.
Never did I say depression was less serious ..you’re not wrong , and it’s because people often aren’t offered inpatient treatment until they’re at crisis point and posing immediate danger to themselves or others. hospitals don’t have the resources to allow everyone with depression into inpatient programmes, that’s why they’re more centred around specific disorders. depression is absolutely just as serious as any other mental health disorder but other treatments are offered first as inpatient programmes don’t have the facilities we all wish they did. a lot of disorders don’t respond effectively to other treatments the way depression does and inpatient programmes are the only option for a lot of people, that doesn’t make depression any less serious.
i wasn’t saying you did! i was supporting your point that mental health hospitals are more accustomed to other disorders. was just having an open discussion about the topic not accusing you of anything!Never did I say depression was less serious ..
This, but also whenever in the lady in the toilets has lollipops I can’t resistLollipops in nightclubs are usually used to suck on to help with gurning from drugs :/
Oh so sorry - I just have mis read xi wasn’t saying you did! i was supporting your point that mental health hospitals are more accustomed to other disorders. was just having an open discussion about the topic not accusing you of anything!
Wouldn’t surprise me if she’s going to really start distancing herself from Olivia. Olivia seems like a awful friend and not reliable. She only cares about social climbing and going out drinking. Think flossie will be better without and if she actually made some genuine friends who care about her and she can have a genuine relationship with which is deeper than getting drunk and whatever underlying competition they have with eachother that we’ve all noticed .on olivias thread from twitter it shows flossie was meant to be on the live olivia had with motel rocks but they clearly changed it last min, i just really hope flossie feels better soon and im glad shes having a break!!
Yes!! Also I can imagine Flossie being super cryptic about what's wrong with her and wanting her friends to chase after her and play therapist. These girls are barely 20, it's definitely not up to them to look after one another. I don't enjoy Flossie's content or her online persona one bit, I think over the past year she's come off as very unlikeable in the trio's videos and like she's above them almost. But that doesn't mean she deserves to be spiralling as badly as she is, everyone was right in saying she shouldn't have signed a lease on her own. I hope she goes home to her parents and seeks the help she needs during her break.Flossie seems like a trainwreck tho and very clingy. Realistically olivia had only known her a year now so its a bit strange to expect them two to be friends for life especially when flossies personality seems unbearable from the sleeping w the guys olivia is connected w to stealing and copying her clothes
