There actually is a rave thread and I linked it in here and got called a "hater" 🤯

Fleur has got herself a light coloured Chanel Jumbo (might even be a maxi) as per her latest IG picture. And a new Rixo dress. But yeah she's soooo sustainable.
I didn’t specifically call you a hater, it was a generalisation.
As I said before this isn’t a hate thread, it’s for all thoughts so if people are positive it’s nothing to get annoyed about.

Amazed how many presents she gets a 32 year old. I don’t know anyone who is an adult who gets that many gifts

And from friends, too. And not cheap, either. I mean, that copper pot... I did a quick Google and they run from £90-200! And then she said she was probably not going to use it..? Wow...

Also, she never shows all her presents, it's usually a selection of all the things she gets (she mentioned this in previous years). All her friends are rich too so I guess the price range is somewhat normal to them...

She's using it as a decoration object

I know. If I spent £150 (let's go with the middle ground) on a pan that someone then said 'Oh I'm just going to use it for decoration' I would not be happy. But I guess I don't hang around in those kind of circles where a £150 gift is nothing......

If I give someone a gift, of whatever value, I'm happy to have spent the money. I wouldn't go getting annoyed with them if they didn't use it at all or for the purpose intended. Once you give a gift it's no longer yours to decide what to do with it. It might not be someone's style or they might not need it.

I think a lot of people use copper pans as decorative items in a kitchen. She said that if she were to use it for cooking it would need to be lined, so personally I didn't take that she was given something and has decided not to use it. I wouldn't be surprised if she was given it with the intention she would use it for decor. Personally if someone gave me a 150 pound antique copper pan, I wouldn't want to cook with it and potentially ruin it. I'd want it on display!

It wasn't antique though , was it ? I thought it rather rude for her to immediate dismiss the idea of using it.

Again, I don't get spending that amount of money on a gift for someone who is not your partner. She lives in a completely different world.

Who gets presents from ALL their friends over the age of 18 anyway? Maybe it's just me but I'd rather go for a nice meal and have nice wine than get a makeup bag from one of my friends.

I just find it very odd. It's the same at Christmas, she buys half the village a Christmas present. Cba with that.

She refers to it either as vintage or antique and then goes on to say something like they don't make them like this anymore, this isn't lined so you aren't supposed to cook with it. Which is why I assumed it was more decorative than something to be used for cooking. 🤷‍♀️

Either way I find it weird how she still gets so many birthday presents from her friends, and expensive ones at that. I mean I'd love to get lots of birthday presents every year, but then again I'd have to spend half a fortune buying presents for all my friends too. 😅

I always wonder this and think maybe it’s because she herself goes all out with the presents so people feel obligated. That or it’s just cause she’s wealthy. Can’t relate, lol. If I had the money I’d love to spoil my friends but it’s just a bit of money dropped into my sisters account for her birthday and a family Kris Kringle for me, lol. To be fair, she must be a really lovely friend as she seems to have had the same circle of off-youtube friends over the years. Probably because she keeps all that stuff private I guess

Seems like all her friends are quite well off, too. I mean, how many weddings abroad has she been to in the last few years?

It's definitely a rich person thing. I know a fairly well off, old money family like Fleur's and they tend to buy everyone they know presents basically. I think it's just traditional in those circles to give a lot of gifts to people, like it's just the done thing.

I get that impression too - she gift high value things to friends and so they feel obligated to do the same.

Either that, or this is just what rich people do. I wouldn’t know :ROFLMAO:

I wonder if she’s ever gifted expensive things that she was given for free...!

And it's not just a box of choccies, a bunch of flowers, or some bath salts, either....
