I agree, she’s much more engaging and likeable than many teachers I remember from school!

Look, right now they’re really pushing the edge of being “OMG random ” on the internet considering they’re two mothers quickly approaching their 30s. In a few years they’ll be those weird old ladies in town that you try to avoid because if they catch you out with your friends they’ll try to join your table (“OH EM GEE let’s get shotz! Hehehehe so random xo”) and start live streaming everything to their quickly waning follower count. Then before you know it they’re just any other set of mums at the school gate, except the difference is they’ve absolutely fuck all to do between 9 and 3 because of their minimal life skills that mean they can’t do anything but run a social media account that skirts the edge between “funny” and “unprofessional”, so they have to join the PTA for a purpose, only suggest bake sales as fundraisers, and make spelling mistakes in the minutes of every meeting. As a business owner myself I definitely would not be ranting the way they do, I've noticed it a few times how they talk.down to people it's awful, very immature it's like they are teenagers. You can't react like this and expect it to be liked. I suspect after this they will have lost more customers. Wait for it they will screenshot it and say we don't care. Well I wasn't aware of this thread until they ranted on FB

Couldn’t agree more. Especially the Tessa thing. Was soooo shocked that she’d go so publicly against all of the guidelines. She seems nice and is very funny but that was a stupid thing to say when you have thousands of followers. Social distancing is for everyone and for the foreseeable unless people keep breaking the rules the quicker we all stick to it the sooner we can go back to normal

The social distancing thing bothered me the most. For months they have been stood side-by-side with friends/family in photos (which aren't throwbacks) and seemingly behaving as normal (group holidays, dates, spa days). Maybe I'm just bitter because I've barely seen any family or friends in months and it just feels unfair!
If I recall correctly, both the twins had covid in March/April and they both wrote posts about how terrible the symptoms were, especially in respect to long-covid. I personally don't understand how, when they've actually experienced how nasty it can be, they can continue to break rules and put others at risk? Or at least publicising their behaviour for others to see

Oh Marie hun. I think the whole point of the brownie thing is proving you quite literally don't get what you pay for. If FB want to defend themselves they should come and do it and be upfront. I personally think their business posts have been great recently hence why I haven't posted here it's a shame to start undoing that with fake profiles and talk of suing members of an online forum.

They have reined it in big time these days. I followed from v early on when they had a lot less followers and they were rude like that on a number of occasions. They’ve got an image to keep up now. This tattle page really rattled them aswell. They have reined it in even more since.

Did you see the post about the upcoming fundraiser? I wouldn’t call the end bit reined in!

COMPETITION COMING SOON- we’ve been wanting to run another big Christmas style competition for a while but wasn’t sure which charity to choose. A couple of months ago I started donating to @lancsmind because I wanted to support a charity that was worlds away from something I’d experienced. I’ve never really suffered with my mental health (luckily) but I know many who do, I am close to so many people who have been to therapy, who take antidepressants, who have had CBT, who have felt suicidal. People who don’t suffer online abuse, horrendous headlines, daily public comments, magazine gossip columns. Just normal people who feel this way. I’ve just watched the Caroline Flack documentary and it’s really struck a cord. I’ve decided to put our platform to good use and team up with our besties @doeharrogate to run a competition over the next couple of weeks. All proceeds go to Lancashire Mind. Watch this space for more details. As a parent, partner, friend, aunty, sister, twin.. I mean this from the bottom of my heart. To anyone who in 2021 still finds it acceptable to taunt anybody (famous or not) over an anonymous Twitter account, bully someone on the internet, by text or in real life, write shit about people in public view or in the media... and to the losers who write on toxic forums and live on the Daily Mail comment section...F you. Love their cakes, admire how their business has grown, and their insta can be funny. However this past year with the covid business has irritated me a little, because from the start they've often flaunted not social distancing (pics with friends, 'bubbles' involving multiple households, going out with people/having friends round now even though I'm fairly sure their area is in Tier 3??). Not trying to sound like I've got a stick up my arse, I know lots of people break rules etc, but considering their huge social media following I just thought they might try to hide it a bit

But if that’s their fridge at home what does their finch bakery one look like You would hope If a catering business would just do it properly anyway. doesn’t matter if you don’t but as professionals you’d expect them to stick to it all the time out of habit ? But can’t really see them having raw meat in their bakery so I’ll let em off
