This page has been fascinating.

Putting my cards on the table I run a similar buisness although I'm all about the product and not interested in becoming insta famous.

I hear all the time how much better my brownies and cakes are than here - not from friends but from customers who would be unlikely to go out of their way to say this unless it was true. My products are very very different to theirs. I use local farms for my eggs and dairy. Where as they seem to use palm oil products. I use high quality vanilla not the low grade synthetic mix they do. This allows them to save a huge amount of money and have a longer shelf life, but their high in Palm oil products are bad for the environment (think of the orangutans!) and for people's health. butter has been shown to be far bettet than these chemically altered oil spreads that their products are loaded in. My products are the same price, I probably make far far less per item but the quality is #1 to me.

Anyone that likes their products I urge to try other places that are less Instagram famous and use better ingredients. No offense to anyone but some people like chocolate that's made with vegetable oil to maximise profits while others prefer high quality chocolate that uses cocoa butter. I only use high quality cocoa butter chocolate in my products.

I hope this doesn't come across as bitchy, but I feel so many get lured in by social media for an inferior product and they don't even realise.
Just the words palm oil makes me soooo sad as I love orangutans and I hate what Palm oil factories / farms are doing to their environment. Where is your bakery is it in Lancashire. Personal msg me as I love a good bakery 😂😂 especially one that’s ethically aware. I’m not knocking finch at all I like their products But it’s good to have options 😂😂

Tessa and Olivia and co live in Lancashire. Does the tier 3 rule not apply to them? And the country wonders why we are about to head into another lockdown!
Yes, I live in Lancs too and it’s so frustrating people ignore the guidance and do what they want and flaunt it - like they do. Interesting to see what will happen once Boris has spoken.

Oh I forgot to mention, a couple of months ago they were breaking all social distancing guidelines and were just fully taking the piss so my friend commented on one of their posts basically saying wtf and that night they just blocked her? and then tbe next day
I don’t like them on Instagram. I think they’re annoying. I liked watching some cake videos but they all seemed the same, but I suppose if that’s what people order then that’s what they make. I unfollowed them a few weeks ago because they post 100 times a day and I don’t know if it’s my Instagram but they always showed up top on my feed even though I never commented or liked their stuff 😂 a friend of mine sent me this so I felt compelled to read 😂 I don’t mind their brownies, I’ve actually ordered a few times. The cake jars aren’t good though. Too sickly and taste like frozen cake. I do have to say though don’t they have like 20+ staff?? So they must be making more than 30 trays to pay their wages? Even if they’re on minimum wage that’s at least 20k a month plus overheads I think they’re doing all right for themselves to afford that and pay themselves. I don’t think I’d post numbers on my products because I wouldn’t want people knowing how much I was making. That’s what companies house is for 😂😂😂😂 🕵🏼‍♂️

Yeah I reckon they do sell v well. You’d be surprised how far people would travel just to visit the bakery, I used to drive all the way from Leeds just for a blondie fix lol. They used to sell out within hours so we’d leave really early and even if we got there at opening a lot of the time they’d have sold a huge stack of blondies / brownies already. I feel like if they sell that well in person they must do really well online.

Funnily enough, we stopped supporting the bakery due to some controversial political comments they made which came off very rude and condescending so we bought the recipe they previously said they used for blondies and have learnt how to make our own! Lol

The advent calender post
"Ooo look at us spending over a grand on our staff"
Again trying to prove they don't treat staff poorly

I’ve always found the pictures of Alba in the bath very strange to so many people! She’s a beautiful funny baby but they have no idea who is watching from such a public account. I think when you haven’t experienced negative and traumatic experiences yourself people are often very naive to the way people can be and things that can happen.
Yes they 100% think that nothing bad happens to them. SIDS, car accidents, internet safety - they just seem to have no clue. I think they have massive survivors bias because they’ve clearly been very sheltered their whole life. It blew my mind to see Rachel putting her 6 week old in her own room, who could possibly look at their 6 week old new baby and be like “nah SIDS won’t happen to me”. I’ve now known 2 women to lose their babies to SIDS and it’s heart wrenching. They just seem to take absolutely no precautions with their children and it shocks me. I actually loved their accounts before they had kids as well, now I feel they’re just reckless. Not only do they put their own children at risk, but they also advertise to thousands of new mums and mums to be that it’s ok to do that. How irresponsible can you be

Exactly a Christmas bonus would be better for the staff to spend how they please but they couldn't plaster that all over social media!

They’re clearly reading here very regularly. Everything that is mentioned they react almost immediately. It looks like she has removed anybody she doesn’t know from her page and gone private. She only has 113 followers (thought they had all these cake friends?)

I do seriously wonder if their behaviour and sending people here when they went on their rampage has affected their business? As I said they went from 10% off for Black Friday to 15%. Why change the amount midway unless it wasn’t very popular and they’re trying to attract more orders with more discount.

Is the ‘open til sell out’ thing all that great? I know it’s a hype and they’d argue you make the same amount in a shorter space of time but it will die down.
Wouldn’t you want to make money all day?
I reckon they think‘Sell out’ makes them sound good. People will think they’re missing out if theyre selling out within a few hours.
I’d be maximising profits and baking cakes til they come out my arse to get the £££ 😋

The posts on here were predominantly positive (hence being in the rave section) and infrequent - it was quiet thread until a couple of days ago.

They used to always force the camera into Isabakes face and take the piss out of her/out of her having a boyfriend. Looks like she’s smashing it now.

They are sneaky, sly, passive aggressive bitches. I’ve said it for a long time (used to love them!)
I was recommended them by a friend when I was looking for something for my mum for Mother’s Day. I went to their insta and there’s no way I want to give them my money - SUCH mean girl vibes from both of them. I absolutely would have been bullied by the both of them at school 😂

Ive wanted to try the brownies for ages and they're not selling out as quick so was tempted to get them but this thread put me off to be honest! That tweet moaning about paying staff wages when they'd also tweeted about going on various expensive holidays trips in the space of months! I know they're a business but it came across so icky

I unfollowed a long time but reading these posts I completely agree. I follow isabakes 🌚 and I don’t see why FB can’t just congratulate her and be happy. Isabel is clearly incredibly passionate and hard working, I wonder if they aren’t selling out like before because people who have bought know it’s not worth it and other people are fed up of their unprofessional behaviour so it’s only new customers or those who genuinely like their products.
