Did anyone notice they reduced everything on Saturday? I don’t think they are anywhere near as busy as they used to be...they had loads left

I went for the first time (as I was in the area)! No queue, half price, loads left. Was lucky for me at least.

ETA: the blondie was really nice/thick. The cookies... I'll be honest, I prefer my homemade Jane's Patisserie ones.

I don’t think the shop looks too bad now that it’s a bit more finished and at least they stay open until a reasonable time. Isabakes is obsessed with selling out within a couple of hours but there’s nothing in her display 😂😂 clearly needs to bake more.
The selling out and OMG look at our queue cultures really irritate me, swear every bakery insta does it, very boring 🥱

You see, I'm put off by that. It was the lack of queue where I thought 'yes, I'll pop by '.

It’s a known tactic though isn’t it, they make out like they sell out instantly so it drives people in to make sure they’re able to purchase as they think demand is high

Tbh with a hygiene rating of 3, I’m not surprised the novelty has worn off. It’s not something to shout about. I’d rather buy from a home baker with 5* hygiene over them 🤣
I know it’s not this thread but it’s nice to see Isa Bakes doing well!

I tried doe donuts today... I really wanted to like them BUT they are no better than supermarket ones. They're alright but I expected better for £3 a donut.

I feel like donuts are really hard to get right, I like mine soft but they go stale so fast. Krispy Kreme are always perfect though 😉

Now Krispy Kreme are the bomb. Doe is nowhere near that level of donut. I think doe's popularity is due to people being like oooo when they see them... But I'd be surprised if they have many customers who go more than once.

Jane's Patisserie blondies are unbeatable.

The summer Passion Fruit KKs like a party on the tongue 🎉

I've ordered treat boxes from here and they absolutely smash the packaging, finicky, fun treats but the actual tastes, textures and quality was definitely lacking. I don't quite get how they're so hyped, they've got American vibes like in your face big sizes but the attention to taste seems overlooked

Just been to Lidl on the recommendations here and they are brilliant thank you. I went to isabakes 2 weeks ago and although it all looked good it was just too sickly sweet. I won't be back or to finch I doubt.

I think it's odd posting about their mates wedding day on their business page. No offence but people don't care, they're there for the cake lol

Especially when they kicked up such a fuss about their personal accounts.
Can’t have it both ways huns!

I noticed but they seem to make loads and restock from the back.

I'm not sure if I'm mixing them up, but based on the wedding pics wouldn't you have thought it was Lauren who was pregnant rather than Rachel?
