An update on the money toad and vision boards. They do work! I finally have my dream job which I will be starting in June. Hopefully I will find a place to live that is better feng shui than what I live in currently. I am so overjoyed. Thank you for all of your lovely advices. I am very grateful! 💕

If one of the items on vision board comes true, do you replace it with something new or leave it?
Congratulation! So happy for you 🍾🥂❤

Ooooh! How exciting! A house move…please let us know how this goes 💕
Take this time to get rid of everything you don’t want, need or haven’t used. All clutter OUT. This means you don’t have to take it with you so the benefits help this house and the next one for you. Then open all the windows and Spring Clean. Then when all spotless get a sage stick and walk it around the walls of every room. You can move all the stagnant energy by clapping up and down in all the corners. Then it’s important your front door looks as appealing as possible. Placing live plants there will help. If you can hang imagery of fish on the walls when you come in (frogs will work well or toads if you can stand them😜). If you can buy a turtle or tortoise ( made of stone ) place it outside your back door facing in towards your house. Make everything as light, airy and clean as you can. Scented candles when people view creates a nice energy. A good rule of thumb is if you don’t like it others won’t either…So that might be your starting point and then you can hone your corners etc afterwards. There is lots of info out there on placements for wealth, love, health etc, etc. The important thing is making a start…SO much good luck dearest! Xx
Thanks so much, I will ensure to follow all of these guidelines. Will any frog/ toad ornament do? The hallway is actually quite dark even though it's big so I will try and make it more light in there.
Also, my other half keeps shoving stuff under the beds and I HATE it! I can't stand things under the bed (I don't like much clutter in general) and it makes me feel all panicky. Is this something to do with the energy flow?? Thanks again @Oops... I really appreciate you taking the time to advise me xxxx

So interesting - thank you! I am a Snake which, as it turns out, is second only to Dragon on the list, which makes it a good ‘un and, apparently, 2021 should be a lucky year for me - yay! My animal friend is Monkey, so I’m definitely going to order a talisman card. ❤
I’m a monkey so I wonder what one I would get 🙈☺
Edit: just realized it says I should get a snake 🐍

I came across a Marie Diamond video and she was talking about vision board. Do any of you do vision board? If so, can you share some of your experience with it?

@Rubythefirebat - do those rooms you have told us about suffer with more plumbing problems that the other rooms nearby?
Do they suffer with more electrical problems than the other rooms? It might be ‘dirty electricity’.

Have just read back on previous posts and realised that I congratulated @Milking Keynes on her daughter‘s success as I was replying to you oh Captain my Captain! So sorry to you and so sorry to dear Havisham! I think my head must still have been all over the shop when I wrote that. Duh…it’s me age you know…

Keep on manifesting it’s clearly working 😜
I knew what happened but didn't want to correct you 😁
The thing about tax rebates is you know that it's money you have overpaid but you are pathetically grateful and happy that they are returning your own money to you! 😜

Short answer - yes! It goes very well with opening up to all sources either expected or unexpected. 👏

I am sooooo looking forward to the post where you will say;

‘I know this might sound a bit ridiculous - BUT...’ ;)

I’ve just been on a little hunt through my extensive book shelves so that I could show you a book that helped me a lot in 1993. It helped me to become brave enough to set up my own company just a few years later. (The company has now evolved into a well respected (within our industry) national company. It started with a girl with an idea ;) . I found it so useful for actively focussing on what I wanted to draw to myself...I thought putting it here may help. My Feng Shui journey began as a result of this book because it opened me up to the idea of the infinity of solution. In other words - just because I haven’t thought of something doesn’t mean it isn’t available to help View attachment 583877me...(Hope this makes sense).💛

Have you brought something into your home - secondhand/preloved ... maybe you purchased it or were given it? If so, I'd try removing that thing from your house.

You need to give your house and possessions a thorough clean. Go and research 'energy clearing techniques' and follow one that appeals to you (there are many ways of doing it). Make sure you do your house, your car (if you have one), all your clothing, inside your cupboards, bags, etc.
Hmm, would secondhand books count? I recently purchased a box of them.

I'll give my house a deep clean this weekend. I've actually had a clear out of a load of my stuff recently, which is now all sitting in bags waiting to taken to the charity shop, so maybe I'll actually do that too this weekend.

Hello :)

So, yesterday I decluttered the bathroom and started to Marie Kondo the wardrobe, which I kind of finished today. The wardrobe is full but looks tidy.
I washed all the winter wear and once everything is dry I need to put it in boxes and store it away and I hope that this will make the room look tidy and calm.

This was pretty exhausting, I am tired now! Once the rooms are tidy I want to add the Feng Shui elements.

Tonight I want to read a little it in the book, I already started it but want to read a bit more. But first dinner and a glass of wine :)

Okay @Oops... and @Milking Keynes, I have tagged both of you in my comment on the PMs thread, so keep an eye on your notifications and make sure you click on the right post - the answers await you! 😉

Edit: Good grief, I actually typed the words ‘click on the right post’ ... it seems I may require a complete detox and/or an intervention at this point! 😖

Good afternoon to you all :)

My little money toad has just arrived.

I expected it to be brass but it seems to be plastic and is a golden colour with a removable coin and red eyes.
I also have a red candle to put next to it (to attract money)?

How do I activate it? Is there a ritual apart from setting an intention?
And how can I find out where the wealth corner is - do you use a compass or is the entrance door to my flat the starting point to identify the wealth corner?

What can I do to keep the money toad happy and healthy?

Soooo many questions... Thank you so much for your advice :) I read the previous posts on the topic, by the way, but am still unsure.

I had to sell my Dad's house, so I know how you feel, my condolences to you.
I think it's lovely that you left some of his possessions in the house, when it was being viewed.
I've had my offer accepted on a house, which is a probate sale, and the family have included the contents, which are nearly new because the poor lady died only a couple of years after moving in.
There's a nice cosy atmosphere in the house, I got a real sense of the lady. I'm sure people viewing your Dad's house had the same nice feeling.
I have a feng shui question to anyone on here 😊 The house I'm about to buy has a road leading up towards the front of the house, not directly up to it, my house would be a further along.
The house is kind of at a crossroads but a couple of doors down from the junctions, if that makes sense!
I think that a road leading right up to your front door is meant to be bad luck and you should have a mirror at the front of your house to deflect, is that right?
Is being near a crossroads bad luck too, just wondering what people think please? Ta!
Thank you for your lovely words.
If the house you are buying felt right then I’m sure it will be fine. Do the roads go directly “into” the front door if they continued onto your property? (Hope that makes sense) If so, could you plant a hedge or build a low wall at the front to ward off bad energy?

I think Bagua mirrors are supposed to be good outside by the front door. I ordered one a while back, I must put it up!

Now I need some help in my own home please.
We have a new neighbour who is an absolute nightmare. I won’t go into detail here but she is so inconsiderate of her neighbours it is awful. Is there anything I can use to ward off the negativity I feel coming from her side? Thankfully we are detached from her so do not share a building but I feel I need to deflect her nastiness away from across my driveway. We have a window that faces opposite her back gate. Thank you.

Hi All,
I’d like some advice please.
I’m not sure if I’m missing a corner in my home (wealth! 😬) or if my top right corner (love and marriage would be classed as extended.

Rough ground floor plan below...

25495C66-C915-4DA0-A5D0-BE2866F9E9F0.jpeg

Excuse the messy plan but we’re renovating so I had to alter it from the original plan.
Green = sitting room
Blue = utility area and lobby
Purple = kitchen
Red = dining room
Cream = lounge

House is about 200 years old.
The main square - lounge and dining room has a second floor with bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs.
The front door opens into the lounge (bottom left) so we only use it for deliveries.
The long rectangle going off the dining room, containing the kitchen, lobby, utility, shower room and sitting room is single storey only and, although original to the house, we believe they may once have been outbuildings before being converted many years ago.

So would you class my home as missing an area or as having an extended area?
Obviously the cures differ depending on the answer.
Many thanks.

Weerrrlll...I would use Harry Potter as a very good example of living under the stairs ;)

What an awful thing to happen during lockdown!

Are you saying that your front door is actually under the stairs? If so I have never come up against this problem - ever...Anyone else got any ideas? All I can think of when I picture it is heaviness on entering which possibly could stay with you whilst you are in there. The front door is very important because it is the mouth of the house. If something is wrong with your front door that can translate as you won’t be emotionally fed properly or nurtured. This might then express itself with head or stomach problems...Its one to very carefully consider it seems...I will do a bit of digging to see if I can find something to help...x
Yes, the first thing I see when I walk out of the front door is the entire staircase. OMG you are so right about head and stomach problems. At that old apartment, I had such bad cases of headaches out of nowhere and had one incidence of bad stomach ulcer that I had to go to the hospital. It's a bit manageable now, not sure if it is because I am more mindful of what I eat. But I like to think it's better energy than before. Yes, please do share if you come across anything stair related. ❤

Hi everyone I've read this whole thread yesterday and want to join! I already do yoga/crystals and a bit of law of attraction type stuff but want to get into feng shui.

I'm decorating my (tiny 2 bed) house at the moment as due 3rd baby in August and feel like we can manage with this small house until the new year (as a morgage to move isn't an option right now due to furlough/husbend self employed etc) so just wanted to do massive de clutter and I'm Marie kondoing as I go.

I did with my last baby and alot of the principles have stuck with me regarding clearing clutter regularly, not holding onto stuff indefinitely. I've decided to feng shui as I go to so trying to implement what I've read here as much as poss.

Unfortunately my bed is stuck in the coffin position and can't really be moved otherwise cot won't fit and no other option. I have an open rail instead of a wardrobe which Is opposite my bed and again can't fit anywhere else. As I can't move or get rid of it is there anything I could do to give it better energy principles? Such as colour coding the garments maybe? Ordering them in dark to light?

I know that spiky plants like cactus are not good indoors as they can cause arguments and spiky conversations. I am not sure of what a snake plant is can you put up a photo?
Mine is similar to this. Coincidentally, found this article while looking for images. Snake plant aka Sanseveria aka mother-in-law’s tongue! (No joke) 😂

interesting about cacti and conversations! I have a few of those and handle them with care. I think they are misunderstood, but I will keep what you mention in mind.
