Oh bless you, this post really moved me. I am trying to do the same with my FILs house. He’s in a nursing home with memory issues and his house is going up for sale soon. I can tell by your posts you’re a special person, your dad would be so proud xxx

Thank you for your kind words. I’m not a special person at all - I know I’m not the best wife or mother and I’m not proud of much in my life but I am proud of being a good daughter to him. I wasn’t perfect, neither of us were, but we were perfect for each other. We were very lucky.

Not at all, it’s lovely to hear and it’s how you keep his memory alive. Keep talking about him all you want, this thread is full of kind hearted people who are delighted to hear about him and help you through your grief. I’ve read lots of posts on here from people who had terrible relationships with their parents and the issues it’s left them with is so sad so it’s wonderful to hear you speak so fondly and with so much love about your Dad
it sounds like you’re doing a brilliant job with his house and he’ll be proud of you I’m sure. I understand your intentions with wanting to make his house look like his home and not some soulless property

A bit update about the hotel + bad vibe. I am not sure how this works, but since just putting out on here that I wish to work on it and solve it, it got better. It still has an uncomfortable feeling, but less creepy, if it makes sense.

My money plants have arrived! I ordered them online.

The three crassulas are tiny and the pots I have are too big. I will need to get some very small green pots for them or possibly repot them soon.

The ones with the leaves that look like coins are a pair - I put them in the romance corner until I get a third one (or should I rather move them in the wealth corner despite them being two, not three)? Maybe they will send me a wealthy man?

So far the little toad hasn't been as helpful as he could have. Lets see, it is his second day.

My toad took a week for him to do his magic. Don't lose faith. I'm still rooting for you.

I can be an overbearing plant owner so I can't have plants. I overwatered them and can't help myself. But I'm looking forward to hear how yours will turn out.

I returned this morning to the other thread. I certainly agree that things took a nasty turn. I’m not quiet ready to leave, though, and certain folks I just love there - Miscanthus, Namima, Julia to name a few. I will keep alert and any hint of that bad energy that affected us - I will be gone. I feel like I’m always welcome here and it’s a place of trust so I don’t feel like I’m choosing in any way. Sending all of you lots love this Monday morning.

Eta We are all diversifying a little bit too which is healthy - I joined the Aldi and Lidl thread snd so have Miscanthus, Namima and Coconochanel.

The pink quartz is called rose quartz, symbolises love. They are very pretty, I have one downstairs and one in my bedroom. In fact I have crystals all over my house, I've been collecting them for years.

(I am a Reiki Master, I have never worked at this where I charged but volunteered as part of a cancer support group for patients and their families to come for healing.)

I live here with my daughter and I am the one that has always done all the ironing. She gets her undies back, all ironed and neatly folded, aka Marie Kondo.

Omg i had one massage, which if i remember correctly was reiki. More of a slow massage, not like the usual swedish. It was amazing! But there were no crystals. I am still planning to go back again!

I stumbled across this thread and honestly it’s so fascinating I have crystals, sage, palo santo in my room beside my oil diffuser and salt lamp! I regularly cleanse my house with sage and charge crystals during the full moon I’ve been reading a lot the last year about energy/ law of attraction and getting in to meditation/journaling/manifesting etc, I don’t know much about feng shui but would love to learn, I actually lived in China for 2 years and they were really in to it A tarot card reader I went to recently told me reiki would benefit me and I was wondering how I would go about this during a pandemic? Can you do it on yourself?

In reply to question about irregular shaped houses - I just know that I have an L shape at the back of my double fronted house. My FSM told me to fill in the gaps to make it a regular shape so I had a left hand side to the rear of my house. I created this by making a covered terrace thus replacing the ‘rooms’ that were missing.to make it a regular shape. In addition I put large mirrors on my lower garden walls. I think I may have mentioned this in earlier posts. Hope this helps

I'm so excited for the arrival of my toad today! So am I correct in placing him on the 2nd/3rd step of the stairs facing towards the house and not towards the front door?

And to turn him towards the wall at the weekends to give him a break?

I was told by my FSM to have him facing front door and yes to give him weekends off by turning him round (also 4 weeks holiday a year!) I was told to place him at pocket height.

I have silly question about the money toad. I see he does not work on the weekends and I have to turn him. I offten travel for work (in normal times), should I turn him when I leave, as I won't be home to turn him on the weekend?

Maybe take him with you when you travel? He will work wherever you are as he’s working for you x

An update on the money toad and vision boards. They do work! I finally have my dream job which I will be starting in June. Hopefully I will find a place to live that is better feng shui than what I live in currently. I am so overjoyed. Thank you for all of your lovely advices. I am very grateful!

If one of the items on vision board comes true, do you replace it with something new or leave it?

When it comes true you thank it and then maybe leave it until you have to cover it/overlap it with something else. I sense that leaving it there for a while will power up/activate the other items on your board. I love the power of your focus btw! SO happy to hear your good news! YASSS! So now is an excellent time to focus on your new home. Let’s see how long that takes you to materialise it.

Oh I’m glad to have found this, I’m starting my journey, so far I’ve decluttered, keeping loo seats down, cleared hallway & windows. We’ve repainted downstairs to freshen up & im just doing my office painting white. Ive got money toads x2 in brass & some rose quartz I had already as I enjoy crystals. Long way to go but any tips much appreciated. We really want to move in the next year closer to school catchment, I’ve just paid to step up a qualification for my career and feel motivated to sort our lives out. Is a vision board on Pinterest enough or does really need to be visual on paper? X thank you

Wow! That all sounds so amazing. Well done! Whatever works best for you is great vis your VB. You can have both if you want - a Pinterest one and a physical one. I love the idea of having one as a screensaver too so you see it every time you open up. If you want to move have pictures of houses you like the look of in the centre of your VB. Having a grey front door may help you in the meantime and create a red manifesting notebook for yourself. In this you can write down anything (however whimsical) you like the sound of. This is a great book to then read on NYE.

Now we only use our front door for deliveries, we never use it to leave/enter the house.

He should face the stair riser so his tail is facing outwards. He should face the main door you regularly use I think but am not totally sure what a FSM would say. Y9oumight want to try a tortoise?turtle for your rear garden facing in towards your back door (living outside made of stone - you can buy from garden centere).

Obviously, I can’t answer any of your concerns because I am clueless on the subject but what I will agree with wholeheartedly is that clutter is the enemy. I have repeatedly told my family members to refrain from covering my kitchen island with stuff. I find untidy living spaces deeply stressful. My teens also did the Kondo method and one even stuck to it.

Really looking forward to learning more about our health concerns and how we can find some possible solutions. Hasta Manana

I have the same issue with my partner leaving his stuff out on my sides.

I despise "man clutter". It tends to build up really quickly in every spare drawer, you know, non descript wires, redundant items such as DVDs, old broken phones and laptop chargers that won't work... There is absolutely no need to hang on to any of these items. The men that I have been with in my life really have difficulty parting with old hardware for some reason.

I have quite a big rose quartz and will eventually put a photo up to show you. I was told by my FSM to get the biggest one I could find so its a big baby. However, in my bedroom I have much smaller ones the size of small pebbles. I might go with one you feel attracted to most - one that ‘speaks’ to you. If you want to re-energise them you can put them outside to bathe in either full moonlight or new moonlight. I can never remember which but suspect he told me full moonlight. (First night).

Great to hear your money toad arrived so quickly. You have had 2 very interesting things happen. Things can and often do happen quickly when you tap into a certain energy. The toad is an emblem of intention and where intention is made the energy follows. (It can’t not - its energy). So if you have two things happen so quickly I’d pat your toad on the head and say thank you! What I am about to say next will probably make you label me as barking bonkers - but nevertheless I will take the risk to say it. Ahem...

My FSM told me to turn mine round the other way at weekends to give him a little time out and to give him a months holiday every year. I snorted at him when he said that. However, he came back at me with this - Do you give the people who work with you the weekend off? I said yes. He then said Do you give those people who work with you paid holidays? I said yes, of course. He then said Your toad is working harder for you than you might ever know and should be afforded the same respect. I am not being prescriptive here I’m just saying what I was told by a very wise man. I got my crystal toad less than a year ago so he still hasn’t been given a holiday but it is due...Just sayin’

That makes perfect sense to me. It feels like it is in the spirit of thanking our belongings for their service. You may think me bonkers for this: I talk to our car. I pat the wheel and thank her for getting me/us safely to our destinations or home. (I've named her Bertha as she's a chunky SUV - LOL)

Therefore I will follow your wise FSM's direction and give our toad its weekends off and make sure to give it a months holiday too. Thank you so much for sharing, and make sure yours takes its holiday. He will come back refreshed!

Here is my hard working, adorably efficient, money toad. I put it on a sheet of red construction paper because I didn't have anything fancier, but it's still working hard. It's having the weekend off just now so I didn't want to take its picture. Boundaries, yeah?

Wow! Feeling so much frustration after reading the other thread, yet so helpless. I understand the poster being heavily pregnant must be going through some heavy hormonal changes but do think she went overboard with getting offended. I felt so sorry for our french lady, I genuinely believe she was speaking of her own experience and nothing else.
My heart broke after reading @Miscanthus message. I haven’t been through it myself, but I know I will not be able to have kids. My boyfriend has been through a life changing trauma and has lost complete faith in him to start a family, physically and mentally. Wouldn’t even try/think going IVF route and I know we aren’t married so if I want kids I should just end things now but it is so so hard to do that. Going through very difficult self reflection to decide what I want moving forward in my life and reading that thread last night left me speechless. I knew speaking up will just bring more chaos.
I find so much comfort in knowing all you ladies are here and are so much help and supportive xx

What an incredibly difficult time for you. Have faith in yourself, though, you will make the right decisions for you. What an emotional, divisive and difficult subject at the best of times - I remember at one point not being able to put on the tv in case of baby ads and happy Mums and Dads. By the grace of God, and many years trying, it came right for me but I still feel the heartache acutely like so many on our threads. Noone was wrong or right last night, in particular, but there is definitely a problem currently with the energy as @Oops explained and we have to accept it will take time. I wish you love and luck in your decisions and please feel our support.

Honestly you’re more than welcome and I’m just glad I could help you.
These little rituals on the new moon may not always manifest straight away so don’t lose heart as that’s the easiest way for them to fail or they may manifest in ways that you didn’t quite intend but are still what you need not maybe what you wanted.

I promise you and this is something I can guarantee…you will feel better in time.
Trust me.
I have been through similar, heck everyone has at some point and if someone told me that at the time I would’ve said you’re wrong.
Looking back now I realise how right they was and I’m so much happier now.

You’re mourning the loss of the relationship and his presence and nobody can take that process away from you but honestly the best thing you can do is cut him off.
Maybe not forever but right now while you’re healing from the break up and need time to move on you need to cut ties and have no more communication.

It will only keep fuelling the desire to keep doing it and wanting him when you need to try and make yourself happy and come to terms with the situation.
If you can be friends or even just talk in the future then great, right now you need to put some boundaries in place until you’re ready to be around him in whatever capacity that is.
Whether it be via the phone or whatever else knowing it won’t upset you or build hopes when you eventually do speak again.

Those boundaries are yours to choose but the 1st I would suggest is no communication as of now and you’re already on that path but it needs to happen for you to move on
It will help you to realise you know what we wasn’t good together romantically for whatever reason, we’re not bad people just not quite right for each other but I don’t hold a grudge and I’m ready to find someone new.

I know we don’t know each other but I truly hope you feel better and I promise you that you will be happy again x

If its a perfect rectangle it makes it very good indeed.

Mine is L shaped so I have a lot of filling in to do on my terrace at the rear of the house. It has removed 2 really important areas of my house so I have to recreate them in my garden as it were. (Long explanation but wont go into that detail just yet as it may confuse anyone just starting).

Am I right in thinking it is just the floor plan of the house, not including any gardens?
I read a little from the fengshuistudio.com which said in essence you align with the front door and then place on the floor plan, and then you can also map each room too?

I shall try and get a little floor plan uploaded and see if I am going wrong anywhere. again thanks for all your tips, I love learning something new

Oh no, not at all. I just thought it was a lovely idea to get dressed nicely and put a bit of makeup on. I've not had any excuse to do that for a while

Ahh, I am terrible when it comes to looking at my phone and ipad before I (try to) go to sleep. I like to cosy up in bed an hour or so before and just browse and Tattle . Totally unnecessary as I can do all that in the living room. I'll try to let go of this habit and instead just read in bed. Like you mentioned though, it is a hard one to give up as we are all glued to our devices now. xx

Make sure if you do have devices in your bedroom that you put them on airplane mode before you go to sleep and tuck them away in a drawer if you can. The airplane mode is essential as your devices will constantly try to connect (handshake) with your wifi throughout the night and the electronic energy will disturb your sleep.
