Here you go
thank you so much!!! ❤

@Oops... Thank you for explaining the coin flip in detail x although I do feel it’s too soon to take that step as it’s not been long enough to know what I really want. It all came out first of the month so the emotions are still very raw.
I appreciate what my boyfriend is telling me, he keeps telling me that right now as I love him and want to be with him, I “may” think I’m ready to give up on marriage/kids but he thinks deep down I will want kids at some point and upon realising that he won’t be able to, will make me resent him eventually and he doesn’t want that. Nor does he want to see me sacrifice on my desires. He has made himself clear that if I wanted to end things now, he would fully support/understand the decision as he wants me to be happy.
We have been together 18 months, but I have not come across a man this honest, upfront and selfless. I’m totally baffled and at loss. I’ve noticed/felt change in his behaviour since this week. For eg no more saying love you unless I do first, no hugging/cuddling and worst of all he has not stayed over this week for the first time since last 6 months. He has got his younger brother staying at his own place for time being so not been at mine. Now I don’t know if this change in affection is intentional or not but it is so so upsetting. Sorry for the outpouring xx
Sending you virtual hugs 🤗

I got all my Chinese coins on eBay.

re the coins under the mat - I would try it and if it feels right I would leave them there. I do all my stuff by instinct. You may remember me telling you ages ago I did not like the position of my desk where my FSM told me to place it - so I didn’t place it there as it didn’t feel right or look right. 💛

Oh I’m glad to have found this, I’m starting my journey, so far I’ve decluttered, keeping loo seats down, cleared hallway & windows. We’ve repainted downstairs to freshen up & im just doing my office painting white. Ive got money toads x2 in brass & some rose quartz I had already as I enjoy crystals. Long way to go but any tips much appreciated. We really want to move in the next year closer to school catchment, I’ve just paid to step up a qualification for my career and feel motivated to sort our lives out. Is a vision board on Pinterest enough or does really need to be visual on paper? X thank you

good to hear from you again. I know this sounds really silly and embarrassing, but I actually put your little chicken avatar onto my vision board. 😅 Now that you are back, I am hoping it will activate other things on my vision board. clapping and smudging sounds lovely. You mean so much to a lot of people on both threads even if they might not say it with their chest. If there is only bad energy around, maybe you can be the good energy to ward off the bad. 😊 But I am happy to see you and your notification. Brings me joy.
🤗I have just literally kissed your avatar on my screen when I read your post. I was so touched by it. I have just sent your vision board some “fizzing energy” to make it fizz. Let me know if it makes a difference. The power of fizz should not be underestimated 🍾. Also your post has given me an idea which I am now processing on top of my thinking about @Milking Keynes post. I want to think it through properly before I do my usual ‘gung-ho’ thingy. Hmmm🤔

@Milking Keynes - you are quite right the avatar IS still there

Loving this thread.

I moved into a new house a couple of years ago. Had my facing a mirrored wardrobe, was unexpectedly sick (vomiting) for no reason. A friend came around (Wiccan) and told me to move the bed. That fixed it up straight away!
Sorry, I should have said I had my 'bed' facing the mirror. Bad JUJU!!!!!

🤗 I was thinking of you too! I could see exactly what you were doing and was shocked to hear a post of yours was taken down. I thought our lovely Miscanthus made a brilliant post to start the new thread. She voiced exactly what most can feel about the energy there but she did it so nicely so as not to cause any offence. I thought the “have I done something wrong’ post was very telling and good on you for sticking with it - my brave best Havisham💛
You’ve made my day. I can smile again now! ❤

You daughter is very talented but - and please do not take this the wrong way - that picture is not good Feng Shui. The word that comes to mind is, "trapped"
No, don’t worry - I don’t take it personally. My daughter has a lot of issues well-known to my friends here on this thread. Her struggles are ongoing. Her art is a true expression of her feelings, unequivocally, bad or good. I love that she can express herself in such a pure way unlike with words where we miscommunicate and misinterpret all the time. It’s a personal journey for her, expressed in art. I’m sure she’s not alone in finding comfort in her talent.

Thank you for expressing your opinion and, never worry, I don’t remotely take offence.

Separate space and separate corners probably best at this stage. Hope this helps. It has been dealt with in earlier posts if you scroll back x
Thank you. I read the earlier posts but was still confused... I think the fact that my current flat has this weird L-shape doesn't make it easy.
So I will just work with each individual room I think.
I also noticed your comment in February that in some situations only a Feng Shui master can help, so I will just improvise until I have my permanent home...

I was confused as well before. I read this thread multiple times. But I ended up using the entire flat as general overview. Placed a crystal in the middle of the house/flat. Did the clapping and lots of incense sticks. Activated my little toad. Then I used a bagua for each individual rooms. For my bedroom, I made sure that my bed is facing my "good" direction. I avoided all the "bad" directions. Then I added items based on what I wanted to focus on. In my little work corner, I made sure to face my "good" direction and added the colours and items from the spruce website. I didn't follow to the exact detail because it was too overwhelming for me. I just improvised.

I hope this helps!
Thank you! Yes, I will do the same... Improvise. Thanks for sharing your Feng Shui journey, I agree - it is not that easy!
I found The Spruce website, it is helpful. Thank you.

I also bought two books:

Creating Sacred space with Feng Shui, Karen Kingston
Essential Feng Shui, Simon Brown

Will let you know what they are like :)

Have a nice and sunny Sunday everyone ❤

Amazing, thank you so much for your insight. I thought I would try the floor map, but as you said perhaps areas won’t align so I will do each room too (I just wanted to check I had the right idea)

to answer your questions:

The awful line of a front door is to show where it sits. It is black, and it opens inwards at the angle I drew. The door is positioned slightly to the right hand side (there are two little dashes to show roughly where it is, and then two windows either side)
We eat in the left hand side of the kitchen where wealth meets fame. The kitchen is L shaped and from the dining area you look straight down to the lounge area
My parents bought this house many years ago (20+) and my husband and I bought it off them For many years it was unloved and very well used and when we bought it we spent a lot of time and money re doing it and it feels like a new house. Almost anyone who comes in says it’s not like it was. I feel like our home is very happy, and I adore it. I don’t want to change anything but I do want to understand it and see where I can help things be their best if that makes sense? My mums house interestingly enough that they moved to has caused her constant health issues and that it something i would love to delve deeper into that once I understand FS well.
our home is attached to our neighbours. I don’t think our home suffers due to it but I just thought aloud if this was possible. It just seems that every family that has lived there has had issues (alcohol issues the family before. The family now have sleep issues with their child and argue frequently)
We have one downstairs bathroom. It is opposite the front door but the toilet is around the corner (where the black dash is in the bathroom)
The X is in the centre of the house and is an airing cupboard! The block next to it is just structural wall.
Our bedroom is above the front room, and we have one toddler, whose room sits above the family area. (So both bedrooms are to the left hand side, ours to the front aspect, his to the rear) we would love to have another child this year.
The kitchen is extended out so the first floor sits above the central part of the house so the larger part of the kitchen and dining is an extended area if that helps. The dashes at the top part of the lounge show where the kitchen is out as an extension.
Back door is on the left hand side wall, in the middle roughly. The cooker sits almost smack between the middle of where creativity and health sit, and then the sink it on the opposite wall, but there is an island in the middle. I think perhaps I should do a more details floor plan of that may help!
house was built approx 1960’s

Love the idea of the rose quartz in the cupboard. We have many plants around the home, almost one in every room (when the light is favourable)
I am just trying to think about what energies feel in each room. We have started to close the toilet lid (recently trained toddler so easier said than done!) and closing the drains so will see how that presents to us.

When the bagua map represents body parts, how does that reflect? Is there certain things that can help the body? My mum had awful thyroid issues last year and still suffers as a result with memory loss and her asthma is also quite chronic. She had acupuncture last year which helped tremendously when she had hard circulation issues due to it so I am interested to see how changing her home might help possibly

once again your knowledge and insight is fantastic and thank you so much for your time!
Brilliant! Thank you. You seem to have intuitively got a great deal right! The reason I specifically asked about your neighbours before commenting was because I wasn’t sure that you liked your house or not. I am really happy to hear you do and so you have a great start! As far as the neighbours go it’s interesting that there is repetitive energy seemingly hanging there isn’t it?

I was going to suggest you got a black front door but you already have one :D . Tick
If there is a bedroom on the middle right upstairs that would be the perfect place for a new baby.
Just to be clear its not wrong to use the bagua floor by floor but it simplifies it to do placements room by room.
Your mothers health might improve if she clears her house and pays special attention to the middle of her house area. She may well benefit by joining us on the Clap For Great Energy Day. In the meantime ask her if she could have a big sort out getting rid of things she doesn’t love or use. This includes any crockery that may be chipped or any door handles that may be broken etc - anything is broken if she could try and get it repaired maybe it would be good to do so. I’m going to have a longer think about your mother and will get back to you on that. Just to ask first - did she get a big shock before she started with her thyroid issues?
You have some great positioning with your layout especially in your kitchen. If you want to make tweaks you can work on your SE and SW areas of your sitting room and put a rose quartz in the centre in front of your fire (assuming the oblong shape you drew in is a fire) and that there might be a table centrally. In addition you may want to put 2 small rose quartz together in SE of your bedroom along with any happy photo of you and your partner.
I love the idea that you don’t want to change anything but want to understand it. That’s so good. Tick, :m

I have read the wonderful posts here and will take time to reread @Oops response because I want to treasure it! I feel lighter already having read it the first time. In the meantime, just to say I would love to be part of the clapping in our corners! So looking forward to my money frogs arriving - I’ll take photos as promised.

I'm really struggling to make my home office more Feng Shui-friendly.

It is a small room and I have a corner workstation ... so it makes sense to put that up against the wall, with the window off to my left. But in doing so, my back faces the door, I'm facing the wall, and I have a huge empty space behind me. Ironically, I found an article that pictured 'ideal home Feng Shui set-ups' that had my exact configuration! (But I know it's not the best set-up).

My current 'fix' is to hang a mirror in the corner where the two walls meet (that I look to), so I can see what's behind me; I also have brightly coloured artwork with pleasant scenes (boats, beaches, etc.), adorning the walls.

Does anyone else have any ideas about what I could do? (I don't want to replace my desk).
@1001 others What you are doing sounds good to me, have a look at this image and see if you can actually do anything with the way things are actually on your desk. The mirror to counter the door situation seems like a good fix and I have seen this mentioned as a way to get around having your back to the door.

1614863721962.png

With the clapping, can it be done if my children are around or should I go it when it's just me in the house?
@Arts911 Young children are sensitive to energy changes so I had a look and it seems it is suggested you do it when they aren't in the house. Maybe if it's a nice day they could play in the garden while you do it.

Hi everyone I've read this whole thread yesterday and want to join! I already do yoga/crystals and a bit of law of attraction type stuff but want to get into feng shui.

I'm decorating my (tiny 2 bed) house at the moment as due 3rd baby in August and feel like we can manage with this small house until the new year (as a morgage to move isn't an option right now due to furlough/husbend self employed etc) so just wanted to do massive de clutter and I'm Marie kondoing as I go.

I did with my last baby and alot of the principles have stuck with me regarding clearing clutter regularly, not holding onto stuff indefinitely. I've decided to feng shui as I go to so trying to implement what I've read here as much as poss.

Unfortunately my bed is stuck in the coffin position and can't really be moved otherwise cot won't fit and no other option. I have an open rail instead of a wardrobe which Is opposite my bed and again can't fit anywhere else. As I can't move or get rid of it is there anything I could do to give it better energy principles? Such as colour coding the garments maybe? Ordering them in dark to light?
@Yogarow I had a quick look for you, I am in no way an expert but it seems there are fixes for the coffin position. Have a read of this x At least if you look into it now when you do come to move you can look for the things you don't want to have, toilet over the front door for instance.

On Lidl thread. Please send help.....😢
I am SO sorry if I did the wrong thing - I was trying to bring balance - I maybe failed miserably. I could feel the spiral and I wanted to hold a finger to the dam post haste - I was a bit annoyed she brought Nicky into it but I could feel her fear wasn’t necessarily about the weight so much as where she’s at at the pregnancy and is a nervous wreck about what she’s facing.

I think your response was perfect, though, as always, You are amazing.

Yay!! What a relief... and there’s a few of us, so hopefully we can grab it by it’s door furniture and slam it shut. Thank God we have you, @Oops ❤❤
I think you know of a very good Archery student who is good at carpentry don’t you? Stick a few photos of him up and see what happens ;)

OK so you might get some opposition from your mother if you suggest she space clears her house! Even when you offer to help I have heard it‘s hard for some hoarders to let go. I can promise you she would feel so much better if she did and the energy would come on in leaps and bounds. She could still clap her corners if she wanted to though just to improve the stagnant energy. Hypochondria may link into validation issues perhaps. Shock can be a trigger for thyroid issues so that’s why I asked. So - easier help for her might be to put an amethyst in SW area of her bedroom. Do you think she might agree to space clear just her bedroom perhaps? In addition might she be able to put a metal Wu Lou (image of a heaven and earth gourd) next to her bed to absorb negative health problems? You might want to read up on Kua numbers to find out which one she is and try (if possible) to get her to face in her kua number direction when she sleeps and also when she sits in her sitting room - if this helps these are the directions;-

Kua
1. E
2. W
3. N
4. S
5. NW
6. NE
7. SW
8. NW
9. SE

In addition an orchid or live bamboo might help placed in her health area downstairs if possible. Live bamboo can be better received as a gift.
Plus water imagery is not good in a bedroom so if she has pictures or paintings of water best they be swapped with pictures of mountains. Pink sheets may help too. The best place for her to start would be her bedroom. Even if she just Spring cleans and manages to clear that it might be a really good start. Light and clean windows and fresh air might be very helpful for her (as they are for all of us). I think it might be good for her to have a white or a silver coloured front door perhaps but only if she actually would like that of course.

*****POSITIVITY****

You asked earlier if it was a possibility I could move. Well, as said my life went into serious turmoil after escaping my 2nd husband. I ran 250 miles away from domestic violence. I was stabbed, tortured in a Marsh land and held over a quarry infront of my children. I don't want to spoil the positivity with my past but I just wanted to give you a small insight of just why I'm so grateful!!!! An exchange felt like an impossibility to me until today, as after ending up a drug addict my arrears ended up over £2000, I was so scatty and didn't realise until I got my life back into order last year. But I'm in so much other debt... I was struggling to pay everything off. And decorate and carpet this house, it still isn't all floored. I checked on my arrears today, because the amount has always scared me, depressed me.

I thought it would still be at least £900, it was £36 in arrears!!! Oh my. I can exchange now! Because I'm in a rock and a hard place. My children either want me to move 300 miles where they are with my first ex mother in law or... they are allowed to come home if I do move!! As my children have stated they don't want to come back to this particular house and would need their own rooms because of what they have suffered they need their own space.

I thought it would take another 2 years to pay off! I thought of this thread straight away! I can be reunited with my older children. My baby boy with his older brothers much sooner.

There is a whole weight gone. 🥰 thankyou all my love.

The lady trying for a baby... I've sent lots of hope to you. When I did, I just pictured a little baby boy. You will be a mum soon! ❤
I'm so happy to read that you've had some great news! It sounds like you've been through so much, and now you've come out on the other side you're definitely deserving of some good luck and positive vibes, so that's wonderful! ☺

And thank you for sending your hope, it's so lovely and much appreciated 🧡🧡🧡

Hehe, thanks! I ordered some orange cushions for our bedroom too, they arrived today ☺
🧡 🧡🧡🧡🧡 - PERFECT!

View attachment 446236So sorry for the time it’s taken, I got my husband to draw it out on the iPad 😂
It’s very basic but wanted to see if I had the concept right before I went any further. The awful black line at the bottom is the front door.
I understand I should probably mark where drains/kitchen bits are etc!

🤞🏻 It’s done right, i would love to understand my homes energy.

I spoke to my mum about this as she loves to learn new things too, and I remember telling her that our neighbours (we’ve had this house in the family for many years now) have always been very turbulent. There have been 3 sets now and each time it’s a very unhappy family (lots of rows, arguments and issues) so I’m really intrigued to wonder if perhaps the energy of the house is just negative. I’ve always said it’s a miserable home so perhaps learning of this maybe confirms that!
Great. I would not worry too much about the drains right now. Just keep the loo seat down. That will take care of energy from drains creeping in. Also if you are able to maybe keep the plugs in the sinks throughout.
Can you confirm what colour your front door is? Is it placed at the angle you have drawn in - i.e is there a triangular porch area? I suspect you have just drawn the way it opens but just want to make sure. So as you look from the front of your house the front door is positioned to the right?
Do you eat in your kitchen or the L shape part of your sitting room or both?
Are you saying that you are concerned that the energy of your house feels negative or are you asking if your house suffers because of the neighbours energy please? I don’t want to say too much until you have clarified this. Also are the neighbours attached?
Are you able to say which areas of the house don’t feel right to you? Are there any children in the house?
Also, what would you most like to achieve with your house?
You have placed your bagua correctly - you can also use it room by room by standing in the doorway of each room and holding it in front of you - so for instance your relationship area in your sitting room is in right corner and your wealth area in the left corner from the door. I would be tempted to start in that room even if your kitchen area tends to get used more.
Which room is your bedroom above please? Which room is/are first floor bathrooms beneath?
Where is back door positioned please?
Where is the sink placed in your kitchen and where is the cooker?
Roughly when was your house built and how long have you lived there?

As far as the energy goes you create it by placement and very often your own outlook. You can change energy very quickly though simply by moving things around and using intention. Certain placements draw in different energies. Sometimes energy can become stuck or stagnant. Sometimes it can move too fast. So its all a matter of degree and fairly easy to alter what you don’t like. The best place for a rose quartz crystal is where you have marked X. Is that presently a cupboard? I note it does not seem to be part of the bathroom or the kitchen.

It's so nice to hear from you! 💛 Thank you for your lovely words! I've beeen feeling so hollow. Where was that DM button when it was sooo needed? I've re-read the thread a few times (not helped by missing posts) and regret wading in and prolonging the discussion after it veered off; instead I should have closed it down a lot earlier! Thankfully the wonky pheasants helped me express things when I did start the new one 😁. These forums are dynamic and people come and go, but it has meant so much to me during Lockdown to laugh and chat with people who feel like friends. Hopefully we can find a way back.
Oh Alitex...hmmmm.....didn't I tell you...? 🤣
(PS Seeing some likes too 😁).
(Don’t know how I missed your post yesterday but somehow I did - duh) I’m sorry you have been feeling hollow. I am hollow too. It became so important to me over lockdown as well. More than anyone might know tbh. The wonky pheasants were genius. You are a ⭐. You sent out a message that everyone heard and no one took offence to. Diplomacy at its best. The new posts now seem to have a different much gentler or less harsh timbre - I don’t think I am imagining that. So - well done.🤩.

I’m waiting to see how things go. In the meantime I’m trying to coax the elephant in the room to come and join me here in my hot-cupboard. He’s got lovely big ears and I reckon he can fly 🐘💃

@Rubythefirebat - I see you! I CAN see you 🤗. I was wondering if you can find me someone else I have never heard of to to ‘fall in love’ with please?🐎;)

Yes!! Is there a way to cross-post all of those tips from the previous thread? itd be interesting to learn / discuss ways to combat th issues, like the front door and you can see out of the back of the house.
