Morning ladies!!! Any thoughts on Crussela plant? Also known as money plant. I bought two over the weekend but wasn’t sure if they needed to be placed in a certain room/direction? Thank you!

The bottom one is definitely more auspicious than the top one - it might be the light, but its leaves are more visually appealing and don't appear to be fighting each other for room compared to the top one (which looks a bit angry in comparison).

I would recommend you put them in red or green ceramic pots at your front door (one on either side). You can also grow new plants by just planting a leaf from your plants into a little yoghurt pot or similar, with some potting mix. Keep it indoors until it puts down roots and starts sprouting up babies - then it's ready to be planted in the ground (or, a red or green pot).

Also, bay plants are excellent money trees (very auspicious). I have two of each - money tree and bay tree - outside my front door.

This is more a wicca tip than a Feng Shui one, but you can make wishes with bay plants, too - just write your wish on the leaf using a marker pen, then burn it in your cauldron (or if you don't have one, a fireproof dish). Visualise your wish coming through as you watch it burn.

Another tip ... when picking artwork for your house, go for things that are happy.

We had a very large framed photo of a lighthouse surrounded by stormy waves, and a lighthouse keeper trying his darnedest to hold on to the lighthouse railings with his lantern, while the waves kept crashing towards him. We bought this photo on a whim one day and hung it in our lounge room. For years, whenever we were sitting in the lounge together, or had people over, there was this very noticeable tension in the air which became quite unbearable. Never anywhere else within the house; just this room. I tried clearing the energy using bells, Palo Santo, incenses in countless blends ... absolutely nothing helped. About three years ago we took the photo down to do some renovating and just like that, the heavy energy that had been in the room lifted. Even my husband, who tends not to be so spiritual, noticed the change.

We sold that photo to someone who had always loved it (told them why we were selling it but they didn't seem convinced), and in its place bought a stunning photo of a gorgeous inlet somewhere ... the sea is many shades of blue, the sky is blue, there are coloured boats, and the sand looks golden. It just feels relaxing looking at it, and the energy in our lounge is great.

Thank you @1001 others for lovely response and advice. I’ll get the red/green pots today and place both of them outside my front door on each side.

In an earlier post I mentioned money plants on your desk if you wish to draw more income. Everyone in my office had a money plant on their desk. It was placed next to the telephone where business was done from. My first FSM really laboured this point. I did as he said - it worked and so the practise has always been continued. I heartily recommend this as I have had VERY good results from it indeed.
I would get the biggest one I could find if I were you place it by the phone (I know not many have the old phones any more at home but you might keep your mobile on your desk whilst working). The idea is that income comes in through communication and the phone is how we communicate.) Try not to have it in a plastic pot if possible. 💛

Thank you very much! I am loving these websites!! I'm going to get started on it tonight!
They really work! They work because you are constantly reminded of your intention when you look at them. You follow your dominant thoughts so if this is a dominant thought - you follow it. Also, it‘s great fun - especially when the item you have focussed on mysteriously appears. Keep us posted. Also, when you are drawing something down you empower it even more by telling others about it. This is a strange anomaly - its almost as if you have to make it happen because you told someone you wanted it to... 💛

Always grateful for your input @Oops... thank you 💗 I’m going to have to get another (big) one to put it on my desk in my office. I’ve placed the other two in green ceramic pots outside my front door on each side today :)

I hadn’t tried the money tree outside the front door but only because I know they don’t like draughts and some don’t like frosts. I say this only because I live in the UK of course  . I believe it’s important to keep the leaves looking healthy and I think maybe the frost might discolour the leaves. In a warmer climate though I can see the great sense of it. I just have to use the wealth areas or my desk because of our weather💛

Does anyone have a link for where you would buy those money/bay leaf plants or the money toads? 🪴

I got my money toad on eBay. The money trees were from the garden centre. Bay trees can be bought online from various local gardening sources. Hope this helps. 💛

Last night my husband reminded me to give our money toad the weekend off. I turned him around after thanking him for his hard work this week. The kids think we're mental.

But I don't care. One bit. ;) LOL

Question, please.

Our oldest is graduating from high school this summer, which is a big deal in America. I was thinking of gifting her a money toad. I feel it's an auspicious time for her to receive her first one. Is it better if she picks it? Or can we get her the one we love best? Also, does the material of a money toad have any significance? I found a brass one that looks amazing.

Personally, I would gift a money toad, but I don't know if there are any reasons why gifting one would be a bad idea. What I would do though is to wrap the gift in red wrapping paper, red is an auspicious colour. Think of Chinese New Year where the money is gifted in red envelopes.

Thank you!! Her favorite colour is red, so that will make it even more special.

What a lovely idea! Mine is graduating from school also this year. It has been a very difficult year. She is outstanding academically and a very hard worker historically. This year, though, she changed school to an Institute/Grind school that focusses on exam strategy and ultimate results, etc. Her idea, absolutely against my wishes. It was chaotic. She had a breakdown in August before she started and was in intense therapy until December (still ongoing) but remembers pretty much nothing from that time, let alone her education, and her results plummeted. She has always suffered from intense anxiety since she was a toddler.

Covid has removed socialisation and normality for these kids and, here in Ireland, the third lockdown presently, has been extended to end May. Extremely difficult to provide a healthy, balanced, environment for teens stuck with their parents all day.

Just to say, all the best to your oldest and the money toad is a lovely idea. Mine looked v gold in the pic but it is really nice - brassy colour irl. I got mine on Amazon (it’s lockdown, what can you do?) for about 30eu.

Oh your poor girl! Kids these days have pressures that didn't seem to exist when we were their age. Or it feels like that anyways. I'm happy she's getting help. Therapy, when provided by someone that clicks with the patient, is invaluable. Anxiety and even OCD seems to be far more common these days in younger adults, and I can understand why. They have much to contend with. It must be terribly difficult for you. Parenting is so hard!! Ugh.

I tell myself we're lucky because both our girls are very responsible with their schooling, but sometimes I wish they'd be a little bit less extreme. They put themselves under extreme pressure to do everything perfectly. The times I've seen them rewriting something to make it just so, the perfectionism, concerns me. Life is sure to throw its curve balls and I worry about how they will cope since they lose their minds when they don't get perfect scores on one test.

The one that is graduating high-school has decided to start university within 1 week of graduating from high school. She applied for early placement without discussing it with us first. I'm a bit alarmed at the rush, although I understand and am trying to be supportive. I'm certain the pressure of uni will be far greater than anything she's known before.

Sending you and your girl hugs.❤

An update on the money toad and vision boards. They do work! I finally have my dream job which I will be starting in June. Hopefully I will find a place to live that is better feng shui than what I live in currently. I am so overjoyed. Thank you for all of your lovely advices. I am very grateful! 💕

If one of the items on vision board comes true, do you replace it with something new or leave it?

I was looking for money toads online, but to be honest I couldn't choose. Does anyone know a smaller cute one?

Here is my hard working, adorably efficient, money toad. I put it on a sheet of red construction paper because I didn't have anything fancier, but it's still working hard. It's having the weekend off just now so I didn't want to take its picture. Boundaries, yeah?
