Elle blocked me over the weekend for no reason. I set up a new insta account and she blocked me within minutes of me following her. I’m pissed off because I’ve always liked her and there was no reason for her to do it. She’s got thousands of followers and her profile is public so I don’t get it 🤷🏻‍♀️ She’s obviously not as nice as she wants people to think she is....

To be fair to her she has re-gifted things to her followers in the past that she doesn’t use. I remember some expensive make up brand sent her lots of stuff which she gave away to her followers.

She used to really irritate me in the early days of “shouty” (if anyone remembers him) and “the dildo wand” and her filming her mums garden. I just thought her banter was the driest thing in the world. It probably still is pretty dry but I don’t really watch her stories anymore. They were all very samey. Waitrose, mini eggs and going to the tip.

The previous poster’s right, I watched all of her kitchen renovation posts (we were due to get ours done around the same time) and she definitely said she bought them. I think that means they can be tagged without being tagged, since there’s nothing to declare?

If I remember correctly, I saw a story where she said she (understandably) receives a lot of messages relating to baby loss. In an effort to answer as many of those as possible she ignores the ‘where is xyz’ from ones. Elle said she was going to start tagging products she was commonly asked about, in an attempt to reduce those type of dms in her inbox.

I’m so pleased for them! I wonder how many weeks is she now? Must be past the 20 mark. I really hope they do take this little rainbow home with them.

Ahh this is lovely news, coming to think of it it all makes sense now, the back shot for her Mother’s Day post and the very cleverly placed hello fresh box in a previous ad 🙃

I get what she’s saying though, our consumption of meat and the demand for it is a huge factor in climate change. It’s a bit hypocritical to go to a march like this if you eat meat, don’t use a reusable coffee cup or never recycle. What good is protesting if you/we have our own part to play and we aren’t doing it?

I agree with this and did think the same when I saw her story today. It wasn’t really a very “Elle” thing to say.

I’m glad I'm not alone in this, felt a bit preachy and perfect, I’m all for people making an effort for change but it wasn’t worded well and felt less relatable than ever. And normally I love Elle.

Gosh this was really uncomfortable to read. I was scrolling under influencers and saw Elles name. I clicked on here and just felt like this is all a bit uncalled for. Elle, there is no need to come on here and reply but I get why. I know why Tattle exists and I'm guilty for coming on here. Elle engages with us and I personally love her account (and Boris) so I think this is all a bit unnecessary.
