Quitting medicine to be an online 'womens health's influencer is a ridiculous decision. Completely loses her USP and any credibility.

It would have been far more interesting to see continuing to train as a Dr in that speciality and work part time.

I get she prefers doing YouTube and however ridiculous it probably pays more but she's throwing away a life long career that she has worked hard for to make videos on the internet???

If she's so passionate about women's health, why doesn't she train to become a gynaecologist?

She still hasn't said what she's going to be doing next year on her YouTube channel. She's trying to milk it out to rage bait people and boost engagement. I've noticed a lot of comments saying they're unsubscribing.

I really liked her medical school vlogs, but I think I've outgrown her content now. It's almost like she got the degree so she could say "doctor approved" as an influencer.

Her content is so dull and shallow - latest is about how to glow up. I switched it off. What a complete and utter waste of medical school

Sick of her drip feeding content about why she's quitting and what she's doing next but I'm the clown that keeps watching.

Her part 4 has really wound me up.

1. Saying there's no rule book and how to speak or dress but surely common sense tells you all you need to know and uploading videos of you getting drunk on the internet does not instill people with confidence in you - obviously doctors SHOULD have social lives outside of work and have fun but the majority of theirs isn't visible to anyone googling their name.

2. Complaining she felt out of place in medical school as she was bleach blonde and not privately educated. I can completely empathise with feeling out of place but has she ever thought of the benefits that brings while in the hospital and bringing some wider representatives into the medical field?

Hugely agree, I’m in the medical field and doctors absolutely do have a lot of fun, drinking, partying and can be wild, but they just don’t share it online for everyone to see. The majority of them are like anyone else and love to have a good time. It’s just common sense really to keep some stuff private, I’m not going to judge people but A LOT of the general public will. People hold doctors to high standards because of the level of responsibility of their jobs. It’s really easy to only share the sensible parts publicly.

People complaining in the comments about this in other jobs like teaching make me roll my eyes too. Why must you share a bikini pic publicly for all to see, is that really such a terrible infringement of your human rights to not be able to do that? Also the bikini pic thing is also partly to protect yourself, men can be creepy af to women doctors and nurses. If those kind of creeps found a bikini photo of you online I can imagine they would be even worse, it’s really not uncommon for doctors and nurse to be sexually harrassed or assaulted at work by patients, relatives or even colleagues. Sure in an ideal world that wouldn’t be an issue but sadly it still is and it probably is a good idea to try to protect yourself a little where you can.

Also feeling out of place, plenty of doctors are pretty glamorous with lovely hair, nails, good style etc. she just needs to find her tribe, medicine has all types and there will be somewhere where she will fit in. Can definitely understand her feeling out of place with the class thing though, that is tough, but I would hope it would inspire her, we need more doctors from different backgrounds and different life experiences.

I’m really intrigued to hear more about the stuff she’s posting about when she was in medical school and the emails that were sent about her. Can understand why she is very angry about that but a bit worried that this whole thing might backfire, medicine is a relatively small community and I wouldn’t want to make enemies, especially if she decides to return. She’s shared a couple of tiny snippets but not whole emails, would be interested to see the full things, suspect the first one she shared might be that sponsorships are a conflict of interest which I personally think is right. Second one which references big brother is definitely not right though!

Episode 5 still doesn't reveal the reason!! In Episode 4, she said we'd find out in Episode 5. She's absolutely milking it for the views right now and playing with people. Almost a holier than thou sort of thing.

She’s ripping the piss, at this point!

I’m sure whatever she announces will be extremely underwhelming.

Unjaded Jade involvement immediately give me the ick. Why would anyone want to be associated with her, she's a complete bleep! Faye is clearly going full influencer head up her own a mode. What a total waste.
I don’t understand how influencers all seem to get to a point where they think they are so wise and important that the public are dying for them to impart their wisdom.

I love people in their mid 20s lecturing me on life 😆

her mortgage is likely relatively small. I imagine she needed a large deposit to buy in london on a foundation doctor salary. She probably has made a lot of money on youtube. And now she gets to make study tuber content again for a year....which was her bread and butter really. You cant exactly film much as a doctor.

She just went so downhill. Like she made really good vids at the start of her career and was very relatable. Now she is body checking 24/7 and just wants to do "glow ups" and these weird girl boss vids. Wtf happened to her so quickly she became very unlikable. Now its all look at me in my bikini and I eat greens blabla. She went to med school for this 🥲

Yeah it also sends such a weird message like if you struggle tiny bit you will just give up and do "easy" money on sm instead. Everyone struggles in the start of ur career cause you havent formed ur work identity and it takes time and you will not be on ur comfort zone. Its normal to feel and struggle in the beginning of career things take time. I really dislike this new version of her.
