i buy dupes of perfumes i own tooZara - Gleam of the moon. Dupe of Kilian - Moonlight in Heaven but heavier on the coconut note.
I seem to keep buying dupes of originals - I already own moonlight in heave but it’s more chai/ figgy on me . The coconut note is not that prevalent. Like the rose gourmand ( montale dupe) I didn’t twig the scent until I have tried it on
I feel a bit stupid keep buying dupes of perfumes I already own.
i tend to use the real thing when i’m leaving the house but take the dupe out with me if i need a top-up. also handy for holidays or trips where i don’t want to take the actual bottle. i see your logic!
Was scrolling on vinted and got a Jo Malone perfume at bargain price

I did a mad splurge on Dusita Montri for Black Friday; I’d had a sample and really liked it then I checked the website and they were doing an amazing gift box (one 10ml and nine samples of various Dusita scents) if you bought a full bottle. So I did.

it’s a beautiful scent but it doesn’t last that long. Still, the 30ml is a great handbag size though!

Had anyone tried Narcisco Rodriguez - musc noir rose? Have smelt it on others and love it but learned the hard way about that before… usually a myrrh and tonka girl but need a change
Yes I own this. It’s a darker rose scent. Definately not like a rose that you’d sniff in the garden. I don’t pick up much of the musc - the rose is more prominent to me.

I got a free sample, it's quite lemony. Lemon and vanilla, very sweet.
It's really good! You do need to like rose. This one is a thick sweet rose. Quite dark like @Crumpet41 said

KDJ Kilian Princess dupe.. quite nice
I was recently gifted Eau the Audacity by Penhaligon’s and it’s beautiful. “An ambery leather fragrance with notes of smoky incense and vanilla”. If I’m being picky, I wish it was longer lasting, but my skin eats up fragrance and I might be going nose blind to it because others can smell it. Definitely recommend for vanilla lovers.
anybody tried bianco latte? i am a big vanilla fan (read: basic lol) so very interested in it!!
