La Vie Est Belle by Lancome is my go to!
also love Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir

My absolute favourite of the favourites is YSL Black Opium.
Fell in love when it just came out and been buying it ever since. God knows how many bottles I’ve emptied over the years.
Close runners up are Carolina Herrera Good Girl and Narciso Rodriguez Rogue.

I’m kinda tempted to buy Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess for summer. I know it’s kinda classic smell already but I’ve never smelled before lol!

Oh and this was all pre Covid… I’ve caught the Baccarat Rouge 540 hype and reading all the reviews decided ( according to the perfume notes too ) that I will definitely like this one and I’m not ashamed to admit - I was ready to buy it for the whole mothef price!
Went to Selfridges, the guy working there was definitely going over the top trying to convince me that EVERYONE LOVES IT!! In the bottle it was nice but when I sprayed on my wrist it was the most strongest, boozy woozy nauseating thing!
I couldn’t wait to wash it off.
not sure if you know already but an exact dupe of Bronze Goddess is in Next and it’s called Summer Sun, it’s out all year round and I swear it’s the exact same (as a fellow Bronze Goddess lover!)

Hi everyone,I went to boots last month and tested ysl mon Paris edt and absolutely loved it,went to buy it on payday and they didn't sell it anymore so I purchased it online from 'escentual'.
The one from escentual smells completely different from the boots one.not bad just different.
do you think it's a fake? ☹
Sometimes fresh bottles of perfume will smell a little different to testers or old bottles because older bottles age and the scent becomes more settled.

Perfumes that have been exposed to a bit of light and air usually smell a bit heavier and you'll get more of the base notes.

I've never bought perfume from Escentual but I know it's a legit site. You can also run the code at the bottom of the bottle or on the box on a cosmetics checker site like https://www.checkfresh.com/?lang=en which will let you know if the batch code is authentic.

Todays scent is Lancôme Tresor, it's sweet and light peachy floral but very potent so I class it as a winter perfume (otherwise I wear Clarins Eau Dynamisante or Aqua Di Parma Colonia if I have an extra early morning start for work).

I have a lot of the Kayali perfumes and Deja Vu is my favourite (I also have the Hair perfume version of Deja Vu and it's gorge and great value!)

If the weather gets colder then I'm going to wear Elie Saab eau de parfum (smells like musk, honey and orange blossom) or Elie Saab Girl of Now (smells like violets, pistachio, honey and a jammy rose to me and is quite strong

Tried cherry smoothie from zara today as I got it in the sale in store, such a good dupe of Tom ford lost cherry! I had TF a while ago and honestly I could not smell it after an hour - not sure if anyone else had the same issue or I just had a faulty one! Zara perfumes don’t last hours on me but for literally £10 or whatever I paid you cant complain! Definitely reccomend for summer 😍

My all time favourite is probably YSL Cinema, but I also love YSL Manifesto. Trouble by Boucheron was a fave (and very similar to Cinema if more intense) but long since discontinued. I'm not sure I have "typical" tastes... lots of perfumes are a bit floral, light, powdery or "green" smelling for me, I like something with a bit more oomph if anyone has any recommendations for similar.

I recently got a a bottle of myrhh and tonka ea de parfum from Aldi, I assume a Jo Malone knockoff, and it's lovely.

Tested prada paradoxe today, absolutely gorgeous. Still smell one spray on my wrist 9 hours later!!
I bought it for my mum for Christmas but I kind of wanted it for me 😕
Consoled myself by snapping up two(!) bottles of YSL Black Opium yesterday using my Boots advantage card points - half price as a "star gift".
I haven't worn it in a few years but I love it for Winter.
Had hoped to get another bottle of Tom Ford Noir but Boots don't seem to stock it any longer?

I smelled the most amazing sandalwood/musk scent on someone today - it literally followed her in a beautiful trail (even though we were outdoors). It was Van Cleef and Arpels Santal Blanc. I think I need to get some.

Has anyone tried Parfums da Marley Delina? I'm interested in it as I've read there is a rhubarb note.

Or can anyone recommend a scent with rhubarb? (Is my current obsession/quest).

I don't want to smell like the Method Wild Rhubarb antibac spray! (Or do I?!)
yesss I have Delina and Delina exclusif (I recommend the exclusif version more), and it’s my favourite perfume ever :) I can’t smell much rhubarb at all though, mostly rose, litchi, floral and creamy notes :)

Currently wearing Jo Malone Myrrh and Tonka. Love this scent in the winter time
Jo Malone is a brand I don’t have any knowledge of. I keep meaning to buy a discovery set so I can try some of her perfumes. I might actually put this on an Xmas wish list.

I tried a spritz of Maison Margiela Replica Coffee Break today, not really expecting to like it.
I fecking love it! It's not too sweet, and there's a bit of an edge to it that I really enjoy.
I love the lavender and tonka bean elements.
The staying-power is shite though, considering the price.
