You know what I like about the Christmas season and seeing all the lights in different displays is the colors. On thing I noticed about their trip to St Augustine for the light displays and now I have seen P post on her page they got all the outside lights put is they are all white lights. I just watched a show on t.v. about people competing for the best display. They all had color lights not just plain white lights.
I know some will not agree with me on this, but I feel that Abbie is so severely IDD that both the school and the family are feeling it's more like a babysitting service at this point. They tried her in the occupation classes but that didn't work out. So exactly what does she do there???
I agree with you. It is especially upsetting because even if they were teaching Abbie things at school, her parents don't follow through at home.

They back off the moment she shows any sign of not being interested. You can almost hear the panic when she makes her “no” sound and shakes her hands... it’s automatically “just do this...and then you’re done” and she has learned that is all she has to do to get out of doing anything other than eating or sitting around. I find it funny that at 15 years old they are now teaching what later means. She is barely toilet trained and is unable to do many things;but somehow will figure out a clock,, do you remember her unloading the dishwasher in front of Brandi in the video this week? Or when A had her loading the dishwasher? She was prompted every step of the way. It is obvious this poor child is just existing and I think the tension in the house may be Isiah has said something to his parents about it. Also, why is Brandi back in the picture? We see regression and a change in Abbie, her parents are extremely lax in their interaction with her, there seems to be tension with the school and now Brandi is back for consultation. I am thinking there is a lot going on behind the scenes that they do not want out because then it will prove that they aren’t the proactive austism parents they claim to be.
I wonder what happened between them and the Breezes( sp? )Lauren seems to of been replaced with Kaitlyn.

I also agree. There really is no progression and things they have shown her over and over she doesn’t retain. I’m really not sure what that clock idea is going to do for her. For many autistic kids may work well but I agree that she is way more IDD. Not being negative but they themselves have said she’s like a 1 yr old so I’m not sure what some of these things will do for her other than cause frustration for Abbie.
Anyone else think their house is kinda ugly? I think the outside is. Especially the side and back where the pool is...that's an ugly building.
