Even curly hair in general has to be cared for and cut a certain way. A lot of people who don't have ethnic hair or curly hair don't realize that. Don't really need classes for it. Trip to a decent salon, or even the googles, can tell a person all they need to know.I never implied he wasnt clean lol. However you cannot use the same Suave shampoo on his hair as she would use on hers. There are also leave in conditioning treatments that keep his curls from getting frizzy and cow-licked and keep curls neat for days, even as active as he is. He could easily have a "full afro" if she wanted him to but no one wears an afro. Maybe Colin Kaepernick. He has a nice cut but I wonder if she takes him to an African American barber...she really should. These are just my opinions, as a white woman who has had to learn how to style African American hair....just like everyone has an opinion on Abbies hair, its fine lol. I am not slamming Kaitlyn. I think shes an amazing mother.
But as an aside....the term "mixed".....outdated and offensive to many. Just sayin'.
True. You could use the Googles, no doubt. We chose to take a class because we wanted to be able to know when it needs cut, or just dusted. How to make proper lines. Braid. Twist. Pre-shampoo. Co-washing. Sealing. Their hair is part of their heritage. We wanted to be able to respect that, not just clip it to keep it easy for us. Again, JMO and experience.Even curly hair in general has to be cared for and cut a certain way. A lot of people who don't have ethnic hair or curly hair don't realize that. Luckily K is a boy and can just as easily use clippers to keep it short.
Yay! Great tile !Thread suggestion ‘ The Massives’s lies go on and on with a bit of luck they’ll soon be gone
I understand, I think it's great that you did. Didn't mean to sound like I thought a class was a bad thing. Just saying there are ways to get basics if you can't, or don't want to, take a class.True. I was never aware of that the term mixed is outdated, a lot of people who are mixed refer to themselves as that. I do watch a few natural hair channels on YouTube and I am aware of the big process it is to just natural hair. Thanks for your insight.I never implied he wasnt clean lol. I'm sorry to say this, but I find him quite repulsive and I realise that is a harsh statement about a 19 year old, but that is how I feel. I used to admire him for dealing with the whole situation but no more. What on earth happened to Isaiah? He looks like a 35 year old man who has been locked up in a basement with only a laptop and fast food for years. His hair, omg. And he gained a lot of weight.
He gives me this sad/depressed vibe. I almost feel bad for him.
Now that you mention it, did they ever say anything after adding another five $100 gift cards? This is from an old video, but who won the thousand dollar gift cards? It was a give-away from that medical app he was poaching a month or so ago?
They need to be questioned about the gift cards. Who can do it that isn't blocked? Now that you mention it, did they ever say anything after adding another five $100 gift cards?
@RocketQueen - I have been there with a bum knee. I wish there was a way to message you about some suggestions I have learned after ten knee surgeries on one knee. Hang in there.
I remember watching that vlog, why was she in the ER that time?I am pretty sure she is in pain. Back in the early vlogs Ass said that she doesn't "process" (read: show) pain like normal people. Which, to be fair is very common in both autism and IDD. But once she actually shows discomfort, it is bad enough for an ER visit.
Fast forward 12 to 18 months (sometime 2018) and Abbie is obviously sick. She looks feverish and is coughing for at least a week. Her muscle tone was higher, but it was still below average and for that it sounded pretty bad. Yet she didn't even miss school, iirc. A says that she has "a mild cold" in the beginning, but never mentions it again. If that is how they treat signs of Abbie being sick, no wonder that it routinely gets bad enough for an ER visit.
Uh, NO. Not a word more about the total=$1000 in gift cards. You don’t suppose.......they kept them for themselves? Now that you mention it, did they ever say anything after adding another five $100 gift cards?

Yes they so have plenty of Abbie earned $$$ Start spending some of it on her!!!And they have the money to really hook her up with a nice room Abbie style!
LMAO Summer calls it "Girl Time", when it's just really babysitting and vlog content for Assa.As we know, Ass and Cilly are at the football game. Summer is with Abbie.

This poor child is too young to be subjected to this foolishness.

Thank you. Im tying to use it as a learning experience. I mean, we all know things happen and hinder our abilities, but until something happens to us its hard to really understand. If that makes sense. Now that you mention it, did they ever say anything after adding another five $100 gift cards?

She can't keep up with Abby now. If Abby bolted none of them other than the young girls could catch her... here soon they aren't going to be able to defend themselves or restrain her if she gets violent eitherThank you. When I was 17 I had ACL surgery on my left knee from a sports injury. Age is not just a number lol. Yes it hurt, and therapy wasnt fun but I bounced back so fast and I swear this hurts much more. I seriously cannot even imagine what you have dealt with!!!
I will say, now more than ever, I am glad I lost the weight I gained, and also that I have not had a lifetime of wear and tear from obesity. All snark aside, P is going to have some serious issues soon. Shes only ten years younger than me, and I am average weight and I try to stay fit. I dont think I could even walk with a crutch or brace if I was still obese. No way will she be able to keep up with Abbie soon, especially with the way she is always rolling her ankles.
