Isn’t it the same for every sibling in a home w/ a developmentally delayed or maybe medically fragile sibling? There’s no way to escape it. And in order to survive & be at peace, the child is better off accepting the situation. He is NT, intelligent, & I think he’ll be just fine.

Yes, that’s what I was saying. I was asking who else thought (when she 1st showed the table decor) that it was her pre-dinner place setting & after the dinner the obnoxious decor would be gone....& maybe look like a normal, inviting table again? Priss doesn’t look comfortable sitting at the kitchen island. If all the crap was cleared, then more could just sit & eat in there. Maybe they prefer to eat their breakfast & lunch in the TV room or office?

I think it’s strange that they eat at that formal table every night. Like, did you not have a place to put an informal dining area in that house? The only time we eat at the formal table is like ... dinner parties, Christmas, New Years and such... but I know not everyone is the same.... still quite mind blowing. But I guess food is of the top priority for them... they can’t eat at the island cause that’s for peasants? I was actually shocked to see P eating at the table the other day when they were giving Abbie a “snack.” Fun fact ... AnP had the same plates as Abbie at that island, and were eating there for once .... I was also confused as to whether that was a snack or actual lunch. Lol

I know with my two grandchildren (one from each one of my kids), if they need any kind of financial help with their kids, I’m always willing to extend a helping hand (or wallet). My parents did this for me with my kids (they even bought me a house and car with cash) and my grandparents helped out with me and my sister. Why couldn’t her parents or his parents help out with hiring an at home teacher/tutor, back then. I guess I have lived a privileged life, but I was brought up with the idea of families being generous If they could afford it. Don’t her parents have bucks?

"Bucks" will do nothing for you. Good parents don't enable their children, they raise them to be able to make a living on their own. It has something to do with self esteem, dignity and pride.
Of course parents should help, when their children are in existentiell troubles, but the kids should never be allowed to speculate of an easy living with their parents money.

I think they go on field trips 1-2 times per month. She has a one on one aide though.

I mean, remember until the scandal broke we thought they only moved to JAX because P's parents were there and said jobs were plentiful. Now we know that P moved to JAX alone with Isaiah while Asa was off making daughter #1. Thats just one example, but over the years I've noticed small things they've said, and been like, hmmm....I thought they said xyz. Who knows. They're liars so its hard for anyone to know the truth, and I'm sure theres plenty I dont remember about them that someone else might.

Was looking around at causes of low muscle tone and read this:

Low Muscle Tone: About 30 percent of children with autism have moderate to severe loss of muscle tone, which can limit their gross and fine motor skills. Pain: Some people with autism have very high pain thresholds (insensitivity to pain), while others have very low pain thresholds.

I just read about this, very interesting. They should invest in trying to build her muscle tone. PT like y’all have mentioned. I was looking at products for autism and I would have definitely invested my money into that instead of a mini mansion. So many things Abbie could use to build muscle tone. They could have her do hand squeezing activities, put weights on her ankles, gripped silverwareThey even had a balance activity. Why oh why they don’t focus on these things?

Yes they do. Abbie participates in shopping and gardening from what I’ve seen. I have seen Assa and Zilla take Abbie to the school for events. Halloween and Christmas and recently there was another event can’t remember the theme.

I was reading another link a few days back regarding their lawsuit, I will include the link at the bottom.
After reading the article, many questionable things jumped out at me.

This article was from when Abbie was 9. All of the complaints they had about her lack of learning are still issues today, and this is six years after this article was published. She really is not teachable, and the school knows it.

Autism or not, teaching begins at home. Truth be told, they have not bothered to parent her properly from the start. Imagine if they had put even a tiny bit of effort into consistently teaching routines at home, how different things might be now. Instead, they have created a monster.

Examples from the article...

"What is an appropriate education for a 9-year-old girl who is nonverbal because she has severe autism and is so developmentally delayed she is not potty-trained and will eat things that are not food?"
Six years later and she still is not potty trained and eats things that are not food.

"She has a tendency to wander off, can eat non-food objects, can throw tantrums and be aggressive, and scream or make grunts. She also can bite herself on her arms when she's upset, her parents say, and has never spoken and cannot read."
Six years later and she still does all of the above.

"Abigail had not only failed to make progress after several years but had regressed in some areas of behavior at class, the judge said."
Six years later and from what we observed during their pathetic attempt to homeschool, she has again regressed and makes little or no progress.

"One day, Abigail came home covered in ant bites; another day she had homemade Play-doh and sand on her clothes and might have put some in her mouth, her parents said. The judge said there was no evidence proving she ingested Play-doh."
Six years later and she is still dirty, and hello, she puts anything she can in her mouth and will try to eat anything, including dirt.

Classroom doors and exterior gates were sometimes left open, even though Abigail was known to run away from adults.
This is the only thing so far I can agree with.

In Abigail's case, the judge pointed out that her communication challenges might have been exacerbated by the school's unwillingness to get an iPad for her to communicate.
If they felt an iPad would have helped that much, why didn't ASSa and just get her one? If she were my child, I would have done all I could to give her the best chance. Not these two boneheads, they just wanted to put the blame on everyone else.

I just watched yesterdays vlog. I swear, Summer is all over Abbie! She hangs on her constantly, lays on her, hold her in the pool. It is so weird and not appropriate at all.

I know this is speculation...but I've often wondered if there was something going on between Assa and Dummer. It's the perfect set up and we know P goes to bed way before A does and her fat butt stays there. A stays up until 2-3am editing? Yeah right. He probably groomed her from early on.
