Yes I read what you wrote and watched the vlog. I don’t agree 🤷🏻‍♀️
I felt like he thought she was upset about the chicken and wanted her to know it was done.
Then we agree to disagree. Why would he think she was upset? She wasnt making her sounds, wasnt trying to get up, wasnt even looking at him or the chicken until he approached her.
You said you thought Asa would cut it from the video. He did. Have you ever seen Asa tell Abbie to stop rocking before?

Someone started posting the other day about how they need counseling. I apologize if it was an honest person here & maybe this new Dr. profile (not a real Dr) was just continuing on that, but it did seem a bit forced. It’s a different take on the situ & maybe if they were acting depressed, etc, then I’d agree. Assa just looks tired & I’m sure there is always going to be a depression component to raising Abbie, but the fatty foods & alcohol are shown almost more than Ab.

Exactly!

Y’all do have to realize, just because surgery can be done to correct issues, doesn’t mean it will be done... Same thing with her teeth and orthodontics..

Hold on, before I get bashed...

When you take your child to the doctor, specialist, dentist, etc., they don’t just look to see what is wrong and fix it. They have to look at the overall being of the child, current health, mental abilities, etc, If they feel that with a treatment or surgery, that follow up won’t be able to happen or that this is something she couldn’t control and will go on to undo the surgery, they will not recommend having the treatment or surgery.... Even if a parent pushes it, a doctor or surgeon can just say no....

It happens every day...

My youngest child has a severe overbite and horrible teeth alignment. He needs spacers and eventually braces. The problem, he cannot even lay down to let the dentist work on him. He has had horrible issues at dentist offices and even bite a dentist before. We have been working for years, at a new office, to overcome his younger years of horrible treatment but he still gets scared and if we get a new dental hygienist, it is like a back track.. The dentist wants to send him for braces but he isn’t ready and we don’t know if he will ever be ready... It happens and is something we have had to accept...

Also, Abbie feels pain different (so does my youngest) and unless she is showing severe pain, they aren’t going to jump and do anything either...
Your an awesome mom, you have such patience and a nice way about you!

Asa is vast! He must have the same waist measurement as P. Check out his massive gut when doing the gardening.
I took a snapshot of it, but it’s too big ( no pun) to upload on here! I just tried to do it lol

Is there a certain age before you can be put in a home or institution? The dynamics in that house will definitely be different and maybe strange after Isaiah goes off to college. At least they have Isaiah as a “buffer” ... he keeps Abbie company and takes her around in the car etc... Wonder if summer will even be there for long after he moves.
Look at the podcast where asa and Isaiah are talking about future plans after they die. I believe they have someone in mind for Abby as her power of attorney, it's not Isaiah, he will have some say so but not much according to asa's words in that podcast. Pay attention to Isaiah's behavior as he is let down again. This father doesn't realize he has put so much anxiety on Isaiah and Abby. Autism doesn't come with anxieties, it's their environment.

I don’t know if I can stomach reading the FB or YouTube comments.
I saw someone ask if autistic people can drink alcohol. The answer is yes, everyone can drink obviously. And it's not against the law. But how do you think Abbie would react to an alcoholic drink when she's legally old enough?

I don't have as much against Summer as some people here - which is cool - differing opinions are fine. To me I just see a young girl who tried to spread her wings in New York and just realized she wasn't cut out for it. I know a lot of people who had the same experience with NYC. I'm guessing she didn't want to move back home, and A&P had been pushing her hard to move in with them. She was offered not just free rent but the chance to make some money in a very comfortable home job environment. At 21, I'd have taken that deal. She's gonna make it through college with way less debt just on the rent saving alone. Plus she's studying to be an ABA therapist eventually, right? Just in the undergrad portion now. But saying she has live in experience with an autistic teenager will probably look impressive to grad school teachers/etc. Basically - I think on paper this had nothing but positives for Summer.

As far as A&P's motives - that's where I get aggravated. It doesn't at all seem coincidence to me that they wanted Summer in before Isaiah left. I think she's the replacement older sibling. Someone that, when the world isn't so weird and normal life resumes, they can dump Abbie on for their "date nights" or call it respite without having to pay her or use their paid respite hours. I don't think she was ever brought there to be anything but surrogate oldest child to be taken advantage of in that way, and then they realized they could pawn some of the grunt work of their professional day to day off on her as well. Now they have her packing envelopes and sending emails too and Priscilla has more time to slap cheap ass clown makeup on her face during livestreams - oh, sorry, I mean, work on her business.
100% agree with your 2nd paragraph 😊

I feel your pain there!! I put it off as long as I can tolerate the pain...like an idiot as well! 😂😂 I hate catheters, that much!! o_O UGH...my most recent kidney stone surgeries were in 2016 and I hope they were my last, ever.
Kidney stones🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬...luckily I usually avoid catheters but they tend to go straight for stents. Urologist calls me a stone factory, I blame my parents lol.
Which brings me to the question of, do they even have health insurance? ER for stone was April 25..with insurance paid $250, without would have been alot more, i refused being admitted since hospital was last place I wanted to be with COVID.
I wonder if their just playing Russian roulette

I will post it if i come across it.
It's true.
It happened.
I didn't make it up.
😁
Yep. I've never seen it in a vlog....dont think they filmed back then, but they talk about it all the time. Just a week or so ago Asa and Isaiah were talking about the movie "Happy Feet 2" and how they knew every word bc Abbie watched it in the shop over and over.

I asked Assa about 2.5 yrs ago why Ab/ or him didn’t say thank you, and he said it was redundant, but after his mother did a live with him, and someone asked again, he started saying thank you, but he is very rude and has no manners, so why teach Abbie? I wonder if Is will go to his grandparents this summer, or just when he goes to start school.
I think he mentioned the redundant thing in the video I was talking about, as well. He probably still feels that saying thank you is unnecessary or pointless in truth but now is just a little more conscious of how it appears or how it comes off so he makes a point of getting Abbie to say thank you.
It's probably a narcissist thing. In particular - An expectation of special treatment, an expectation that others will agree with them and go along with what they want, and a lack empathy or ability to understand and share the feelings of others, and a tendency to disregard others’ feelings.

It seemed like she was already in a bad mood from the cart ride being over and she was just annoyed at all of them. I’m not sure about the people saying he should have pushed it. Everybody here says they should listen to her but when he does then he’s just a pushover and letting her be a brat. I would have done the same thing with my toddler and then tried again 15-20 minutes later. No reason to push somebody that is already in a bad mood over the edge to prove you are the boss.
I think too it may have been her OCD. Maybe she just wanted the chair pushed in. It's hard to figure out just what she's trying to convey sometimes.

Is he trying to say thank you is redundant for Abbie and others like her, or in general? Either way it’s ludicrous, but I’m curious

That would make us look so bad trying to contact anyone who knows them personally or has (had) a relationship with the family, it’s different giving a thumbs up to a leghumper that starts to see them for who they really are, but reaching out not acceptable
I am trying to find actual vlog he said it in because he gave a reason for why he thinks it's redundant. From what I do recall, he was saying it was redundant for Abbie. I think he meant it in the sense of because it isn't a concept that she can grasp - what does thank you mean, why do we say it, when do we say it etc... that she responds better to more tangible things. He insinuated that saying thank you is something society expects from people, no matter who they are - his tone of voice and facial expressions suggesting he thinks this is ridiculous - so therefore he makes Abbie say Thank You.

I assumed it was close by because they talked about moving him to college in 3 mos. They sound sure of themselves! I guess it shouldn’t surprise anyone because they were still on their multi-city vacay last March. Based on what you’ve been hearing, it probably is best for him to enroll near home & take online classes. I know they can’t wait to get “all the [App-State] things,” but they need to wake up & realize those days are over.

Priscilla really needs a different shade of concealer or she needs to blend her makeup better. Her wrinkles under her eyes really show through more and the color of the concealer is really bright which defeats the purpose.
Oh yeah. Her concealer always looks like that. Way too light. It actually draws more attention.

I'm not an expert on anything but my guess would be her hands are like that due to her low muscle tone and her damaging the nerves in her hands due to her hard clapping and slamming her hands on hard surfaces. And the way she flails her hands around can't be good for her hands either.
I agree with all you're saying. I cant stop thinking she's got a lot more genetic issues going on that we dont know about. JMO

In today's vlog Asa practices hygiene with Abbie with washing hands i wonder how often
they bath her?
I'm serious when I say they use the pool. I really figure that's good.

There are SO many different aids they could try with Abbie to make brushing easier. There are toothbrushes that light up, play music, have different heads (collis curve, round, angled, smaller), vibrate, have different grippers to make them easier to hold. There are electric toothbrushes, sonic toothbrushes (me & my oldest daughter use these), waterpiks. They should try using different flavored toothpaste as mint is often too strong for people with sensory issues, or tooth tabs (we know she loves to chew!) And all this is just off the top of my head. These people just never TRY anything - it drives me nuts!
But she has a light up toothbrush and Asshat has one that’s similar

People are speculating that she is masturbating, yes. There is no way for us to know and hopefully if Asa thought that is what was going on, he would cut it from the video. I personally don’t see anything different from that time to any other time she rocks.
Agreed!

I commented a couple weeks ago on the “Zucchini bread disaster” video, and just now saw that Cilla had responded. I said “Why would she teach her how to use an oven?” To which she replied “why not?” 🤦🏼‍♀️ Really? 🙄😐 That’s like teaching a 2 year old how to use the oven. Only thing she should know about the oven and stove is that it’s hot, and not to touch it.
Well My niece was cooking at 6 months....🙀

He has clips of them in the backroom that he has peppered into a vlog or two.
I can't testify whether its video or a still shot but it exists.
It will just be hard to find because its just inserted into one of the vlogs.
