My skin burns easy & gets angry with too much sun exposure, so I almost always wear a rash guard. I don’t know why they don’t consider the same for Abbie. Or a one piece that has a sleeve, short or long. But you know momma wouldn’t want her special needs daughter to appear special, even at a special needs camp.
Also, the illusion of grandeur they have for golden boy & his career. My sister is a clinical director at a special needs school. But man, did she have to pay some dues to get there. On top of ongoing education to get a masters. It’s going to take more than momma just paying his way to achieve an actual career.

I burn really easily. Last year I got a swim tunic with leggings. And I wear a hat. It helps a lot with the sun.

So true about paying your dues to have a career. I don’t think any of them understand that. They think they are entitled to the goodies in life because autism.

We had a wonderful time in Nola until yesterday. Our big dog was really old and had been doing well, but showed signs of distress. We took him to the vet and there was no way to keep him comfortable anymore. We had him put to sleep. It was so hard. My husband sobbed at the vet and at home. We have the other dogs and my family has been wonderful. We’re headed back home today.

She does nothing all day but eat, drink, swim, and shit. I don't think a little volunteering would hurt her and she certainly doesn't deserve a pat on the back for it. She sacrificed nothing to be there for a few hours. And she probably ate half their lunches.

That Twatty cow didn't volunteer. She showed up at a camp frequented by her daughter that her son is paid to work at. She did what most parents do on a daily basis. She sure is proud of her "man", the jobless fellow who spends drunken nights when she is passed out with her sleep apnea machine attached to her, sending bitchy responses to reasonable comments on YT, that is , when he is not surfing for porn like the greasey creepy fatty that he is. They disgust me. They are a pair of lying, showboating losers who exploit their child for their gluttonous lifestyle but will be in the poor house by 2025. Their ship is sinking faster than the titanic and I am here for it. Grifting bastards.

* P actually said "the people" need to see her outfits? The people?! Who does she think she is? Eva Peron?! WTF?!
* Isaiah needs help.
* Camp is just respite for them. Abbie could care less. She has zero interests, doesnt socialize or participate.
* The fact that these "buddies", some of whom are not teens but educated adults, hold, kiss, and hug these campers shows that they think of them all as young children- not as young adults or adults with a disability.
* They said they receive SO many messages asking how to pack for camp. I'm sorry, but if a parent doesnt know how and what to pack for their child, they are shitty parents. And yes- all the buddies, everyone just says you pack better than anyone, ever. STFU. Their egos are bigger than their asses!!

My ADHD brain has some random thoughts and I'm just gonna put them down here:

1. Yes Abbie was super drugged out at the Lawyer's office. They're trying to avoid any meltdowns that they no longer know how to handle.

2.Assa's actually quite short. He's not very much taller than P is he.

3. If it's a bad idea for Abbie to be having an income
a. They're essentially milking the system.
b. Then how will Abbie be doing vocational work/coffeeshop/cookie store? Something he was pushing so hard for (in his vlogs). So he's in denial and/or it was for content all the while.

I’m sorry, not really, but Abby going to camp is just cruel. It’s cruel to Abby and to the staff, and other campers. Abby has no clue what’s going on, she can’t communicate with anyone there, she has no interest in doing any of the activities, and she looks miserable. It’s not fair to the staff to dump her on them either. She’s what I would consider full care. She can’t toilet, dress, or bathe herself. She can’t communicate with the staff. The bullshit of her signs and the iPad is just ridiculous. She only uses the iPad for food and the signs that no one else knows make no sense. And then there’s the screaming and honking and all the disruptive behavior. I don’t know how anyone can sleep with her in the same room. I’m sure she has been violent as well. Who is in charge of giving her medication? Hopefully not her buddies and it’s someone with a license. There comes a point in time where the camp should say she is not appropriate for camp anymore. But they also allow highly inappropriate behavior from the staff towards the campers. I get the impression there isn’t much oversight
