Someone mentioned them starving Abbie so she will stay small.. I Really dont think that is the case because of so much junk food they give her.. and so often. I have seen her eating huge portions of very high calorie food. If they really wanted Abbie not to gain weight.. I think they would feed her lower calorie fruits and veggies more...leaner cuts of meats.. less bread and pasta and junk

I think Abbie eats because she enjoys the sensation of eating.. and craves sugar and high calorie junk food because that is what she is used to.. I can see that she is gaining weight and will gain even more once she gets a bit older and doesn't have the metabolism of a teenager.

I have pondered on this issue quite a bit. Abbie is the only one that is not overweight ( you can see the weight tendency with Isiah) and she is the only one that doesn't have access to whatever she wants to eat. I believe it's good they aren't allowing her to get obese like they are, but at the same time, sometimes you are just hungry. A teen can be hungry all the time for months on end. I don't believe she is starving either, she is a good size with a tad of a belly.

I agree about enjoying the sensation and the carrots and stuff would be so much better for them all. They all consume way too much sugar, it's kinda disgusting to think about. P and A are not as fat as they are by not snacking....I bet they snack and eat constantly. You know they do!

As a former fan I don't even know what to call this circus anymore. The change is so dramatic from the old house to the new house. ABA is usually done at MINIMUM for 5 hours a week and can go to 40 hours a week, per all our developmental and behavioral specialists.
Anything under this time and you are usually just wrapping up and stopping it all. It is usually going over any issues that may have arised and narrowing them down, but it isn’t doing any new therapy, because there is no time for the child to learn the needed skills..
Medicaid is very strict with therapies. They are usually only approved for a certain amount of weeks or sessions. The therapist has to provide written notes and observations. If Medicaid sees no progress, especially if they see no backing from the parental units, supporting and continuing the therapy onward, they will start cutting hours and eventually stop therapy all together. Brandi is held to a strict regard with Medicaid and her medical degree, on being honest on those medical records also...

So A&P lied about her Brandi therapy being cut down because Abbie is improving so much. Actually just the opposite. Brandi probably noted that she didnt see any further progress as even possible. And no insurance is gonna pay for that.
See that's what gets me about these two. They LIE! People would be understanding if they just said..."sadly they feel Abbie has reached as far as she is gonna".
THIS is why these people are pigs. Well, this and the whole exploitation thing. And the arrogance thing. And the fact that they are total pigs.
