Fathering Autism #102 Asa tries to be whimsical, but really he's just an imbecile

I wondered why she called the tacos salad.... the only salad I saw was the rocket leaves and the word salad. She has no idea what she is saying. She just opens her mouth and hopes that something coherant comes out. 'just a little tip for you' Cilla.... It isn't coherant.

Sadly, IMO, poor Abbie is not in control of anything. Her existence is controlled at the whim of her Pig parents. Escaping their clutches and jumping in the pool is the closest she gets to doing what she wants to do.

Did she say about the sausage " a casing that's non-edible?"
haha! yeah she did! I sort of went... eh? I half assumed that it was maybe like the casing on chorizo that is a bit papery, or it was a type of american sausage that you can't get here. Her vocabulary is seriously stunted though. I'd love to do a full speech and language assessment on her. I have no training but a basic understanding of child development... I'd put her language and understanding of language at about age 9 or 10 maybe, 12 probably at the most. Her sentences are pretty basic and she doesn't know quite a lot of words and uses them incorrectly.

He sounded annoyed when he told Abbie to stop kicking him. How long did he let her do it before and after he said it though! And the sudden jump cut from that to the two of them in the kitchen discussing Sunday's game day menu.

completely agree. Each and every aspect of her life is closely controlled (and the majority of the time, for A&P's benefit, not Abbie's). Is it any wonder that Abbie often gets very frustrated?? Everything is decided for her, even when A&P deign to ask Abbie to choose something as simple as a snack. Her choices are ignored and dismissed, always ending with A or P choosing for her.
You gave a perfect example. Running off and then jumping into the pool is one the very VERY few things that Abbie is actually in control of and gets to decide for herself.

Hey guys!! I'm SO behind I really hate when real life gets in the way of Tattling!! Nothing bad, just a lot going on that requires my full attention!

WOW, do I have a lot of vlogs, reading, and tons of snarky comments to catch up on. I've missed a lot in the past few days!

To help keep you all entertained I present to you a photo of Whimsical, circa 1976. I was standing by a big cock and apparently doing my best "Scratching Summer" imitation, long before I knew it was even a thing I would make fun of decades later!!

This photo was taken towards the end of summer break and I was a few weeks away from starting middle school, which here is 6th grade, so I was 11 years old. The shorter gal standing next to me was a friend who came with our family to the amusement park that day.

I hope all my Tattle friends have an awesome Friday and I will hopefully be able to pop in and get caught up this weekend!!!

Thank you all for the great help on my reunion haircut. Here is the result. I will have to mask up at the reunion anyway, so it’s kind of true to life without outing myself. Lol! Not to mention the mask hides some of the many wrinkles.
That turned out really pretty and wrinkles look far better than the plastic cat woman faces we are seeing on women. It is so sad to see such young women pulling their skin back to look like they are forever 21!

Yeah, you can't eat that casing - but the inside is DELICIOUS! Literally one of my favorite foods!
Never heard of a non edible casing. What do you do....cut the end off and squeeze the meat out? Ewwwe....

Thank you! To turn this into more on the subject of FA…based how freeing and easy my hair care is at this stage, I think something short for Abbie would be great! It would eliminate many issues for all of them..especially Abbie. At first I was nervous that my hair would end up like Crystal’s! Not for me for sure!

Non Edible. That is a new term she just learned. In my most southern voice possible..
“She ain’t ever found a damn thing she has considered non edible.”
You forgot the southern obligatory, "Bless her heart."

Thank you! One more week! We had many back out because of fear of covid, but the last count was 100 attending. I am fully vaxed and also tested negative this week. I am ready to party hearty!
