I’m going to take a look as I’m intrigued as to what they get from the affiliate linking, I know they usually refer to it as ‘pennies’ but I’m sure it adds up.
That 40plusnotgivingupyet is the absolute worst for the swipe up, she does tons of them each day for Amazon, Nike etc etc - lots of big brands so she prob benefits from the cookie thing, makes me really dislike her, so so grabby! The only transparent thing about her is how much she gains from it as she happily shows off the big extension and the multiple restaurant take outs each week!

V surprised Foddo isn’t more into this!
yes I was intrigued too to see how much money affiliate links generate.

I'm out of the Instagram loop recently, so maybe I wouldn't know if this has become more the norm these days, but for me, it's the first account I've seen showing very specific financial breakdowns like (broken down by particular product and numbers bought and money made etc). And she's done it in the past as well, not just today.

Wow he was lucky to have a fold out chair. When my then 10 month old had to have surgery on his head I only had an actual plastic upright chair, sort of thing you see in a police station waiting area to sleep on. And do you know who has seen the photos or videos of my baby, with a masive head bandage on, even when it was sort of funny him running his fixed bandage that held his cannula in along his cot bars like he was in prison, myself, my husband and our parents, because that is his story not mine to tell

Well yes I've seen so many big accounts saying mournfully "oh I earn virtually NOTHING from affiliate links, it's hardly anything". Hmmm 🤔 . We now know otherwise.
Yeah it’s good detective work guys. I did like how she’s posted the receipts for what she actually got and £35 for 4 products for one day is pretty easy cash. Fair play to her for being upfront, fingers crossed some of that transparency rubs off on her mates 😉🤣

ETA did not didn’t 🤦‍♀️

Mother's Day Glenny sighting needs to go on the bingo sheet :ROFLMAO:

Aww fodders been on a trip down pre-Alicegate memory lane 🥰

Wow the top comment with the most likes is an extremely weird account :ROFLMAO: 🤭
All pictures were posted to that account at the same time, within the past 8 hours, and they are verging on the pornographic. There is no other activity on the account, no narrative, no comments. I don't know how to identify bots but I would suggest that is a bot - actually quite a few botts. And there's no reason it should have over 200 likes.

I've met some of my best friends online in a strange forum (let's not go there) in 2005 when I was troubled teenager 😂😷- so we've been friends for 15 years now (group of 4, now 6 because one introduced 2 of her friends from school to us three years ago). We go on trips and regularly meet although we all live in different parts of the country (well pre Covid) . So to me it's kind of normal to meet people online. But I'm sometimes still kind of embarrassed when people ask me where I know them the from "uhm.. The friend of a friend..." haha. When I met one of the girls for a concert in 2008 she introduced me to her boyfriend as her pen pal 🤣but her now-husband knows the real story now.

Anyways, so I don't think it's super strange that she met some other teenagers on social media but it's definitely important that parents keep an eye out / make sure their kids are not talking to a 56year old truck driver from Liverpool who pretends to be Olivia, 16 from Hastings.
Same! Used to make up so many random ‘friend of a friend’ type stories to avoid saying we met on a forum 😅😅 deffo not the done thing meeting people from the internet in the early 00s 😅 what was the strange forum?! 😅

So (not copy and pasting so they don’t associate my message to tattle....not that I’m bothered but don’t want it to lose credibility!) but they replied.

- They replied fairly quickly and said they’d been made aware and whilst they “abhor” racism, isn’t somebody allowed to make a mistake? (makes me wonder if it’s friend of Glen) “we’re all human”

- I responded to say I get that everybody makes mistakes but she never owned it or apologised and deleted her account but hides behind HOH and would they want their business associated with racism?!

- replied saying yes she should have apologised and how they’d discuss it with their colleague (err...we all know stories last 24 hours and they’ll expire anyway as you’ve not deleted them 🙄) and how we’ll never know unless we discuss it with a person in the room (🙄) and then signed off with ‘peace out.’

- I sent another saying yes, racism is disgusting in any circumstances but esp for a midwife and imagine how it made some women feel and how they had many opportunities to apologise but chose to stay silent!

So I tried but disappointing. If it was me and my business, I’d just DELETE...but maybe they’ve been blinding by new followers HOHorrors had bought them 🙄
The company is based in Scotland and both company officers are Scottish. They are also both 8 years older than fod. They follow Fod's account but not the house account and neither hooper account follows them. I can't see any crossover in their lives to suggest they are defending mod because they are friends.

I think he is tagging all of them in the hope of more freebies. I've attached the Herringbone post from when the kitchen was installed.

They say that you can find out more about the kitchen on the projects section of their website. I have looked at each project either side of the Fods and there is a bit more on the design detail of each. When you click on Fods you are given details about how the design and planning process works and how to book an appointment. Nothing about the Fods kitchen at all. They also give you a rough idea of costs.
