Is there a chance she was actually "made" to leave the team? Especially if she wasn't performing. Though from what I remember she's still in linklaters?

It's an interesting point you make she could have been 'managed' out of the team and placed in this new area. It happens all the time when companies can't just sack somebody they manage them out instead by doing things like this.

I wonder if this could also explain the sort of baiting I think she's been doing over the past year or so where she would be dressing inappropriately etc. Maybe things were going south at that point and Eve was intentionally being awkward as some sort of passive aggressive resistance.

We'll see how long she lasts in her new role. If she's gone from there in a short period then I think we can start to add more weight to this.

I never get why YouTubers think full videos themed around a sponsorship are a good idea, especially when she's only just returned the platform and wants to be more of her 'authentic' self.

Sometimes I feel bad that I'm buying into this by already liking a product that is being sponsored to death by YT.

I use Notion to keep all my major work to do lists, project plans and notes from my 1:1s with my manager. Not sure how I could do my entire job on there though - I write a lot of papers and they make it really hard to export anything into other software, and I find the formatting/display options limited for anything beyond a list. For that purpose though, can't complain.

Still really confused how her job isn't basically sales/marketing with some surface level tech knowledge, though?

I mean, I shouldn't be surprised by anyone promoting Notion anymore, it seems to be the new Skillshare, but I find it utterly ridiculous for Eve to pretend she has a thousand notebooks and just discovered the magic of a digital space thanks to Notion. She just talked about having everything in a Google Drive for years and years. I still enjoyed her video more than any one else's, since it has a narrative and is well crafted and she wasn't as obnoxious about the whole thing as Rubarb or Shady. But gosh, I wish Notion would just go away. (Of course, no offense to anyone using it. But their marketing actually turns me off.)
