I’m guessing she wont be staying at her current role long term and she wants to establish herself as a tech girl but I’m finding it so tiresome how her #brand is becoming being a tech girl as if she’s a software engineer or sth. she works in document automation for the same law firm and she’s not the one coding the software lol ….
I really doubt she’ll be about to revive her YouTube channel in the way she wants too. Her whole channel was solely based on being a law student and then a corporate lawyer. I’m not sure the same interest is there for contract automation.
I'm kinda annoyed by her video re her quitting her job. She's preaching to us and telling us how you have to think about what you want, to be happy, blah blah, etc. She forgot to mention that she actually works for a company that is owned by Linklaters. This isn't exactly the same as quitting your job, changing career and starting from scratch looking for a new job, being unemployed for a while, etc. She hasn't quite had to go through that struggle. Many of us stuck in unhappy jobs and careers can't afford to leave and start from 0. She was lucky that she managed to switch careers easily.
Also the privilege to be able to quit a 100k job isn’t afforded to most. A large reason why I like being in law is being to support my mum. It’s all well and good to say follow your dreams when you’ve got skillshare money and a middle class family to fall back on.
Remember her 'I'm an adult now' vid and it was just her switching rooms?
Still not as funny as her video when she was moving to WFH in early 2020 and she put “24 hours to evacuate” on the thumbnail

Yeah me too! The spon was a bit cringe but i honestly don’t really care about ads in YT vids, as long as it doesn’t go on too long lol. I wonder what route she will take for her YT channel - career advice/general lifestyle/lgbt+ orientated?

That last one was also sponsored so it’s not just like she was doing it for fun! Despite saying the profits would be donated surely that only means what she makes off the video and not her fee
Considering Eve's management, I don't trust for a second that a charity will get a penny without seeing proof.
And considering BetterHelp's controversial history, this isn't exactly the best choice of sponsor either.
