I liked her new video but felt that the q&a was super basic and she was just repeating certain buzzwords… idk if it’s just cos I’m gay and have heard all these things before but there wasn’t much original thought. good for her for being more open tho
I agree. Is it just me but she doesn't have a very expansive vocabulary which is odd considering she did a law degree. Maybe I'm just being harsh.

Nothing says that a channel is struggling like the creator requesting content ideas. Her whole channel was basically about Law and now that's gone she has literally nothing to talk about
It would be great if she would deconstruct the toxic culture and spill insider tea about the awful realities of Magic Circle life, but she won't because she still works there.
I think she's done to be honest. A channel without a purpose can't survive.
I might be wrong but I presume that she signs an NDA or has some sort of clause like that built into her contract.
Probably, yes... but that would cover the specifics of working at LL, and I still think she could keep to the terms whilst deconstructing a lot of the issues:
- The expectation of working 12+ hour days, making it impossible to have a life, that you are set up for with the seemingly insane amount of study you need to do on the LPC to even get there in the first place.
- The fact that she originally wanted to do Human Rights, as do many, but all the money is in Commercial. Is it really right that that is where all our brightest and most capable are pushed towards if they want to earn a good salary?
- The incredibly specific skillset that you learn, that probably makes it really hard for people to leave if it isn't the industry for them. It seems like Eve really lucked out finding a 'seat' in her TC that enabled her to pivot out of law when she wasn't enjoying it any more.
I think there's a lot to say about as she decided to embrace her true self (being out as gay) rather than embodying what others wanted her to be, she found that the environment of Corporate Law wasn't for her any more. I do expect her to move on from that tech role fairly soon, once she's spent enough time to establish herself in the industry. What can we take from that about how the industry really thinks of diversity - are they just finding people who tick boxes and/or look different to the stereotype, but otherwise want them to be exactly the same and maintain the status quo?
I wonder if she really bought her own apartment or if she's still renting...

I must say her new flat is lovely. Do we have any clue whereabouts is it? Roughly what area? North? West? I'm guessing this flat is more affordable as it's unfurnished .
It’s really beautiful, love the bathroom especially, so unique for a rental. But yeah the rent has gotta be pretty high, even though the living space area is a bit smaller, there is a lot of space in the flat and it’s pretty much a 2 bedroom.
Is it definitely rented? I'm surprised she's just blowing more dead money on rent. You would have thought she would have had enough to buy somewhere by now with the earnings she's been on.
Not everyone can afford to buy or live with their parent whilst they save, renting can show you a lot about what you want in a future property too, plus she clearly didn’t want to keep living with housemates which I don’t blame her for at 25 (or is she 24). The earnings aren’t the problem it’s the deposit, she might have been able to afford to buy but maybe she doesn’t want to for now as it’s expensive and she’s only ever lived in that one area in London so maybe she’s scouting out some other areas
The way she was talking about it was giving the impression she’d be buying… the place is nice tho
