I've noticed that Eve's post have subtlety been becoming more sexualised as she has been discovering her own sexuality recently. Like you say this is not a bad thing for a private insta and in terms of Eve's life it's great that she is becoming more comfortable with expressing herself sexually. However, as a magic circle firm lawyer you've got to imagine that her employer will be asking her to reign it in soon.

She can't bait her employer as effectively with a private account would be the reason I expect. The impression I've got of Eve is that she is a narcissistic bleep so I think she enjoys the public display of it all to be honest.

Apologies I misunderstood your post. Yes, exactly it's a good point why doesn't her girlfriend just go private? I think she went on a blocking wave a few weeks ago as a few others on here mentioned they had been blocked too.
I haven't been blocked yet but will soon most likely. I don't know why she just won't go private if she is so bothered about strangers looking at her page. I highly doubt she knows ALL 1k followers of hers.
I think the 'fame' has got to her head a bit. I'm sure Linklater's value her as an outreach person because of her popularity, and I honestly wouldn't be surprised if that has played into her getting a job there (+ the brownie points for having someone LGBT, especially with the push for diversity in the sector over the last year), but at the same time I think Eve is overplaying her importance a bit, as well as how important her sexuality/personal life is within the workplace, and flaunting rules due to that
I think to be fair to Eve she got the job at Linklaters before she came out as gay so I doubt that had any bearing on their decision to employ her.
I think it does, yeah. The top firms want the top candidates. Of those who don't go to the commercial bar, most will go to one of the MC firms or to a US firm. MC is great and looks v good on the CV but 1) Links is not the only one, and 2) US firms are a huge draw to many top candidates. Obv Links is super super oversubscribed (like all City law firms) but all the good firms want the very top people each year - so there is competition to attract them.
yes eve can be extremely cringe and gets on my nerves as well, but generally I think people being comfortable figuring out their sexuality and gender identity is great and something to be celebrated. if she's a bit cringe in the process of doing so that's fun to gossip about but why make it into a "this generation" thing.
Judging by my emails, there's been a push for LGBTQ+ and people of colour in the sector for sure. Eve obviously meets only one of those criteria but it's beneficial for them either way
Her TC would be before she was out/knew she was gay for sure. I mentioned once how her experience with possibly feeling excluded from such workplaces therefore wouldn't be reflective of an average candidate who is going in being sure of their identity already
