Just cause you booked it doesn't mean you have to go. I should have been on a flight to Ireland tonight to spend Christmas with family but we decided it was best to stay put with the rising case numbers. Travelling just now seems far from sensible.

It's also the fact that France introduced new stricter restrictions on travel on the very day they would have travelled (as the restrictions would have started at 11PM in the UK), and those restrictions would have been announced
A) they could have scrapped the plans to go, the two can clearly afford a fair amount of luxury as it is but also the tickets/bookings could have been sold to someone else
B) they may have very well (and I honestly think it's likely) made the decision to go after those restrictions were announced - there's an article that said a lot of people actually bought tickets to go to France after that announcement
Also, it's not like Eve has shown any responsibility in wearing a mask and it's clear that she has been travelling during the last lockdown. She, and I suppose her gf, has a pattern of behaviour of ignoring restrictions
You're right on the pattern of behaviour she has been displaying this throughout the pandemic and she's showing herself to be a totally selfish bleep in reality. She's flaunting her newly acquired wealth and she's not even modest enough to try and do it slyly and instead is posting it all over social media.

and she has posted with her mask on in videos and pictures, and posted when she got her vaccine (telling people to get theirs). i wouldn’t say she completely disregards the rule from a maskless picture when we don’t know if there’s strangers around her (i sure as hell take mine off to catch my breath if there’s no one near me).
Yes, testing and isolation for international travel has been going on a while. However, the Omicron variant has been central only been central for a few weeks, and if this has been a long-planned event, I don't blame her for taking it. It may not be the smartest move right now, but there comes a point when life has to move on and adjust to living with the COVID virus. You can't honestly sit here and act live Eve is an evil person for going on holiday when half of the country has been for the last few months. The timing isn't ideal I admit, and I think she definitely should have thought about travelling at the moment, but to argue that she's in the same camp as Boris on this one is extreme. She's gone on a holiday to France with her girlfriend, how is that any different to going to a club every night for a week and not testing? She'll have to prove she's COVID free to both leave and re-enter the country, which is stricter than getting into practically any venue in the UK at the moment.

The problem is that it's not just one maskless picture, it's several - including one from recently when masks were required to be worn. Really, if you're taking pictures where you're posing, chances are you're not just catching a quick breath during your commute so the argument there doesn't work
Personally, I didn't have that big of an issue with her being maskless on the tube before the recent restrictions because it wasn't a strict requirement (and really I don't know how busy the tube is in general, that may massively change my opinion) but that + the other stuff from when restrictions were very strict has given a fairly clear pattern on her disregard for those rules
Also, me or you being maskless or taking time to catch a breath is hardly comparable to a public figure like Eve imo
I think it has been strict requirement on TFL services (So the DLR, Tube, Buses etc) for a while (https://metro.co.uk/2021/07/19/lond...ask-rules-and-when-will-they-change-14950369/). But there's been poor public adherence and the rules differ on other transport modes in England (https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-london-58734287).
I think travelling to France on the same day they annouce they don't want tourists to travel there is a bit...disrespectful I guess? I don't think I would have made the same choice.
