Yes agreed! She seems much more interested in criminal law than corporate law. It’s becoming more and more apparent that she’s not that down to earth girl and just someone that’s money hungry.

I know the post is aimed at graduates but it very much feels like it's aimed at 'successful' graduates. I know plenty of people who graduated and went on to work full time at the local supermarket or other essential roles that wouldn't have had the choice to be working from home to begin with. It just feels slightly out of touch imo

I suppose but at the same time when she did an answering questions from Instagram video and put a question about sexuality in the thumbnail but didn’t actually answer it that did rub some people the wrong wayI was gonna ask the same question. I feel like since she actually isn't straight her dropping hints etc isn't a bad thing and just goes to show she came out when she felt comfortable and I respect her for it

To be honest I don't blame her for leaving. I'm just finishing my law degree and I can't imagine doing that, the LPC, a masters and being expected to work the hours they work in big firms. It would kill most people's enthusiasm for the job
There is a lot of moving but usually (if you get an NQ job you want at the firm you trained at) you tend to stay for 2/3 years at least...and then there is another exodus at senior associate level when people realise they aren't going to be/don't want to be partner.

eves new video is about taking herself on a date. Why is she doing the same bad videos as jade!Plus, if you work at a much smaller firm, your pay wouldn’t be as good but at least you’ll gain experience, be able to do important interesting tasks and good bonuses if your work is good

I was suprised as to why she chose corporate law when she was very much into criminal. It is way harder to make money and breakthrough in criminal law, anyone would be seduced by the 100k, the flashy firms and Eve seemed to fall for that.Mentioned it and discussed it in some small detail before but she also didn’t seem to be that interested in corporate law, judging by her YT anyway. A lot of her law “in depth” videos were on criminal law
I think if she wanted to she could cut out her channel to be a source for ‘developments in law’ (I know there’s a specific term for this but it escapes my mind) for her specific area. Law students are always encouraged to keep up with that as it’s good for interviews and what not, yet it can be a bit hard to do. It seems like an obvious choice for her to make but eh

Firms spend huuuge amount on trainees to train them up to qualification & like to train them to fit with their specific firm's culture - it's a big investment - so they like to retain as many people as they can

It’s honestly kinda irritating. I got really excited and then turns out they’re just overpriced items. I personally got a cup like that at Starbucks for £10... plus I’d say it’s more durable. She obviously wanted to create a community of people who really liked coffee but it just flopped as those people were her friends and not very interesting people either. It could have honestly been really cool but it wasn’t. Someone said liking coffee isn’t a personality trait and she’s taking her coffee addicting too far if you see what I mean

I definitely think she didn't consider just how much work a real life job would be.She’s employed at a magic circle firm, right? Then it was pretty obvious she wasn’t going to do youtube for much longer. Work-Life-Balance at such a firm usually means come in at 5am and use the amazing gym but then you gotta stay til 10pm
