Honestly it’s not really surprising, when you’re at that age you tend to move on with your lifeYeah I think so, maybe Raina moved out??

I honestly think eve is a pretty lonely person that needs company and would not be able able you love on her own. She’ll leave that appartement if she moves in with her gfI'm honestly surprised she hasn't moved out fully to live on her own tbh
She must be making a decent wage from her job as it is + YT videos and sponsorships
Where I worked it wouldn’t have been allowed although there was a picture posted of her here, where her belly button was showing and that would have been against the dress code of my law firm as well, so who knows maybe Linklaters has more relaxed rules for thisI don't know I'm not familiar with the culture at her workplace but seeing as so many people on this thread always talk about eve's professionalism (or potential lack thereof) I figured her firm could consider it "unprofessional"
Yup it’s actually very common. When I graduated the figures were that 20,000 law students graduated but only 6,000 end up with TCs and most of these weren’t at elite firms. It’s probably even worse now with covidReally?? Even after nearly 2 years of her being out of the lpc she doesn’t have a training contract? That seems kinda unbelievable
I'm honestly surprised she hasn't moved out fully to live on her own tbhI wonder who she's living with now. I guess her friend from university (I can't remember her name but she moved in after Anushka moved out) is still there but that still leaves one room. The area she's in isn't cheap at all so I imagine they'd need a third roommate, unless Lucie moves in too ...
That’s not how mortgages workShould of just borrowed money from her loaded gf or something lol
Yes she wrote something on the thumbnail like "I'm an adult now", apparently a flight of stairs makes you an adultWait so she didn't even move house and she's crying over "being grown up now"??
"If anything, curious to know how the salary compares. As a "manager", she will probably be making somewhere between a trainee and an NQ with drastically reduced hours. My guess: £70-75k with strict 40 hours a week Mon-Fri."Wish I'd seen this earlier but a wide range of interesting and varied comments on this Roll On Friday article...
Good points made-
"I think legal cheek runs several credulous stories about what legal influencers eat for breakfast every week"
"Legal Cheek writers delete and alter the comments all the time at least on here people can say what they think and be honest."
"Was more suggesting legal influencers may not be as cut out for law as they proclaim, particularly after leaving within 4 months of qualifying…
I mean logically, their talents lie with marketing if they’ve built up such a fan base and converted so many people to follow their career choice."
Literally these influencers just don’t realise how WELL they have it. But for sure, she is very middle class- not sure why she is so obsessed with making herself look like she has worked from nothing. But it’s about checking your privilege, now isn’t the time for relative poverty etc, eve might not be upper middle class but she’s deffo middle class! That affords you more than she’ll realise
I wonder how Eve got a girl like thatthis is her gf. she is so pretty. eve needs to run as she has done well for herself lol.
Yeah lawyers work what, 70+ hour weeks(?) they do ridiculous OT because that’s part of the job. They’re paid not to have a social life, to put in all their energy and enthusiasm into the job instead. What do you guys make of her post about not wanting to return to normal normal?
I find it sort of... funny. As I'd understand it, law is one of those fields where you go in expecting to work long hours and possibly miss out on family/friend time. It's not ideal by all means, but at the same time she sort of did sign up for it
The fact that you compare this to you wanting to wear a sweatshirt and leggings to work just says it all.Not trying to criticise you and it may sound harsh but you were aware what your work place's expectations are after all. I also don't feel comfortable being dressed up in general - I'd rather be working in a sweatshirt and leggings - but I am expected to look neutral and professional. Depends what kind of job you do but at jobs in which you represent your company - f.ex. do client meetings etc. - you represent not yourself but your company. No one is gonna care about your sexuality there and no one should be expected to. The fact that I love idk Metallica or that I'm a Buddhist doesn't mean I should include it everywhere to make sure other people see it.
Generally the thing is some people try to make everything about themselves - and with Eve it fucking shows.
not to be that arsehole but that's pretty standard for a magic circle nq salary. you make up for it in having 0 social life and nervous breakdowns every year£100k???!!!!That is obscene.
I haven't been blocked yet but will soon most likely. I don't know why she just won't go private if she is so bothered about strangers looking at her page. I highly doubt she knows ALL 1k followers of hers.Apologies I misunderstood your post. Yes, exactly it's a good point why doesn't her girlfriend just go private? I think she went on a blocking wave a few weeks ago as a few others on here mentioned they had been blocked too.
Eve might have to start being careful she doesn't fall foul of any professional standards set by the solicitor regulator. Not sure if they have any codes re. dress and showing off body parts/partial nudity but I wouldn't be surprised if they did. I accept that showing her belly button probably isn't going to slip in to either of those categories, in fact I remember her once posting a photo of her work outfit which she was flashing off her belly button too which I thought was unprofessional but clearly she got away with it. However, showing her partially pulled down, unzipped trousers and flashing her knickers might get her in to trouble...
And probably aim to call them out for something…..It's just another example of her baiting her employer. She'll keep pushing until they say something and then she can be offended by it which I expect is her aim.
Is there a chance she was actually "made" to leave the team? Especially if she wasn't performing. Though from what I remember she's still in linklaters?I hope that didn't majorly factor into her choice to walk away from law i.e. if she couldn't be the best lawyer ever then she wanted to walk away. Totally relate to leaving if you aren't passionate anymore though.
Coloma Convent Girls SchoolBut what kind of school did she go too? I don’t have linked in so can’t look but if she went to grammar school it’s essentially the same thing!
I agree, ever since she left uni she’s been really awful actuallyShe’s so pretentious
