She seemed to have been putting a lot of work into developing the coffee over quite a long period, so I think there must be a reason if the whole project is now dropped.
This is so interesting! I really wonder what happened... she probably won’t address it as she didn’t address what happened to the coffee launch which was supposed to happen in June or July? So right before she stepped down

A) is that baggage post sponsored? If so, it really should be tagged as such - and I assume it is because why else would you include the @ for the company

B) is that champagne spilling over the hotel bed? Yikes.
The champagne literally hurt me as someone who used to work in a hotel.

Interestingly there are (or were when I checked, in case she has removed them) a few comments saying that the video is slightly distasteful for the reasons mentioned above

You can have the best grades & experience (either law experience or any experience is fine as long as the skills are transferable), but if she lacks commercial awareness & the ability to communicate her passion for corporate law then firms won't bother. It's tough

hi y'all! i haven't logged in here for ages...i wanted to ask you if it's okay to share private information about someone on this platform
i've found eve's gf facebook and info about her you are probably interested on, but i don't know what are the rules here
My understanding is that you can't share screenshots from a private page, or things like addresses that would encourage stalking, but you can share information you have obtained from there in the same way you would have knowledge from if you had worked with someone on here or went to school with them or whatever.

Right so I’ve been thinking about this, Eve from what I can remember has never described herself as a lesbian, she keeps using queer? Maybe this is why she’s over using it as she has finally found her identity?
She's probably not using lesbian because the woke crowd would come after her for being sO tRaNsPhoBic.

“For some reason she's holding a notepad to take notes about herself.”

perfect, I liked earlier Eve when she was at university, I think I will skip on “getting to know” this new one…from this, I could even imagine that she will start shilling NFTs like every youtuber does it and that’s not a good look 😬

I study law at Bristol - Eve was in the year above me but I ended up taking a year out due to the stress of the workload which made me very ill.
I'm applying to a regional firm because MC firms are a different world. I know MC lawyers and the money is insane (£100,000+ v quickly) but a lot of the stories I've heard are bad

I always thought the clear coffee cups were the kind of plastic that get really scratched up quickly and then look bad. The hoodies looked good, but again are only really those gildan type hoodies that anyone can add a logo to. I wonder what happened to the coffee.
Yeah I have that style of cup from B&M and they do get battered quite easily so I'd never spend a huge amount on them.

I know, I found it amusing that she made out like it had been such hard work launching that merch but it's just off the shelf stuff, she's not invented some revolutionary new material or anything.

It did make me wonder about her idea of what constitutes hard work if getting your logo printed on a hoodie counts as a major achievement taking several months of effort.
That's something I don't get either, Influencers boast that they've spent "so much time" on their secret projects but I'm pretty sure I could go onto redbubble right now and put a logo on a hoodie in less than five minutes.

Exactly, it's literally her life. She can do what she likes :/
It's literally a gossip site where we share our views on what influencers/youtubers do. Plus, I wasn't criticising her that much for choosing a job that gives her money, more so the fact that it's clearly building up to a pattern of behaviour where she can be seen as greedy and uses YouTube for that extra income, not because she enjoys it or whatever.

For the whole conversation on criminal law being boring compared to say corporate which has many different paths, sure but these criticisms aren't pulled out of thin air by a bunch of people who have never done law and just disagree with it. Again, it's based on videos she has put out. Sure, those people may be completely wrong but I'm sure as a whole gossip sites are wrong on many things

Isn't Clapham quite a wealthy area? I'm up North I don't know 😬
Parts are, but not really Clapham North. It's the standard place grads live in their first London houseshare. Room prices across London are all basically the same now anyway (usually 800 plus, 700 if you're lucky...) unless it's somewhere far out or East.

I liked her new video but felt that the q&a was super basic and she was just repeating certain buzzwords… idk if it’s just cos I’m gay and have heard all these things before but there wasn’t much original thought. good for her for being more open tho
I agree. Is it just me but she doesn't have a very expansive vocabulary which is odd considering she did a law degree. Maybe I'm just being harsh.

Any reason for this?
I'd have thought that a magic circle firms would be very 'tempting' (can't think of a better word) for newly qualified solicitors
people tend to head in house, to finance or to US for more money or Silver for more life balance. After few years associate level Links pays literally same as silver circle and much less than US.

So basically it’s kinda loses its appeal

not especially true - she's in commercial law theres not really any other opportunities she could step-up to other than US elite firms in London, at which the hours are worse- she's already pretty much at the top- the only doors it opens for her would be 'downwards' from magic circle like silver circle etc
Hours at links are literally just as bad as most US. My ex worked there and worked late literally every day. He worked on a bloody holiday too

But to be fair, I think people who have public instagrams should expect lurker or strangers to watch their stories. If it bothered them, they could make their instagram private.
I'd say lurkers are also far more expected when you're dating someone who has a sizeable following 🤷‍♀️

Come on now, literally no one would do that.
It's happened to me on more than one occasion. Apparently I was a bigot for only wanting to date biological females. It's happened to my gay male friends as well, enough for me to say that it's endemic. Look up "cotton/boxer ceiling".

Incredibly disappointed to see her at yet another social event with different people. Though I'm not surprised, I woke up this morning to so many of my friends putting up instagram stories of parties they were at. We're going to get a second wave due to this.
