I was kind of concerned when she was putting up stories of her drinking wine even though she couldn't taste it while she was isolating. Like the only reason I would drink in the house (if I'm not going out after) is because I like the taste? The idea of drinking simply to get drunk while just sat alone in my room is odd/sad to me idk
And you just know she will be live tweeting and moaning about quarantine when she comes home. IT WAS YOUR CHOICE TO GO ABROAD, and to SOCIALISE A LOT. I have only seen friends ONCE since March because I chose to keep safe. I get that she is disappointed the year hasn’t panned out as planned, but let’s me tell you something for free, NO ONES YEAR HAS GONE AS PLANNED. ABSOLUTELY NO ONE. I watched the Covid video because I was interested in what symptoms presented so i can watch out for them, and she started the video off saying “before you get aggy, I got it at work”. I also rolled my eyes at the bit where on her stories she said her internship is over because of their policy on quarantine times after a test...well of course, how is that a surprise? They are not going to let an intern back early and risk their permanent staff getting ill too, just because you are there on a limited internship.
It just annoys me when influencers think they should have special treatment.
Influencers influence, right? If she'd come clean, reviewed everything she'd done wrong, showed some awareness and apologised, I think it would have resonated with many who have acted similar & actually may have helped change the behaviour of those who need to sort their act out the most. Yet she can't even do that
She’s sadly too entitled and selfish to bother with that.
I find it so insensitive that she’s spending all her time complaining about having to self isolate or about not being able to do her year abroad when people are literally dying.
My dad died in April, my friend lost both her grandparents in 1 week, my auntie and her husband almost ended up homeless due to being made redundant because of covid. I’ve seen my teachers fall in debt, my friend had a miscarriage due to stress, family members pass away, my friends fall victim to mental health and an nhs system that is failing. All because of covid.
Nobody cares that her year abroad didn’t pan out. She needs to grow the duck up.

That’s quite a lot to be dealing with. 
There are a lot of people like Eve who need to LISTEN and LOOK outside their bubble of privilege in this pandemic. And i don’t mean wealth, i mean circumstances, in this situation. I consider myself very privileged to be able to work from home to minimise my exposure and have an employer than actively encourages us to stay at home and work remotely. Others, have no choice but to get out there amongst the public, risking their own safety. Eve may have caught Covid and may have had to cut her internship short, but, she completed the first internship, she has been able to “tick off” her goal of going to a German speaking country for her course. She’s in a warm flat, in a safe environment, and has a family to come home to at Christmas. IMO, she should come home and honour any quarantine requirements quietly, as we all would. It’s okay for her to be disappointed and sad, but as an online presence she needs to stop being sooo tone deaf. The influencer world was dodgy anyway but this pandemic has really shown a lot of them up for the selfish, “I’m alright” types that they are. Don’t want criticism, don’t moan online then...

Even if the reality of her privilege hit her like a truck, she would still be complaining.

I completely agree with you but apparently in Berlin you only need to self isolate for 10 days since your symptoms started and according to her, that time period has expired? If I was her I’d still be self isolating though!
But I thought that you could only come out of self isolation when symptoms had gone, and eve is still complaining of symptoms.
Also she tweeted earlier saying that someone commented on her video saying she deserved to get covid
